Wow, love this question...it's SO tough to choose, though!! I guess I have to go with Bella Donna, although I could make a case for The Wild Heart as well. Bella Donna is simply beautiful, every song is perfection. The Wild Heart is more fun, and more "Stevie", in my opinion, and the running order of the opening four songs is just amazing. However, I am not a big fan of Sable on Blond or Beauty and the Beast, and those two at the end of the record kind of helped me make my decision. I also don't like that "I Will Run to You" has Tom kind of overpowering on vocals. I think Bella Donna is more consistent all the way through.

I have to go with Bella Donna, because I love it all the way through and don't skip any songs. The Wild Heart is awesome, but I just don't love Beauty and the Beast and usually skip it.

It's tough, but I think I prefer The Wild Heart. I think she did cut loose a bit more on that album, partially on the back of the success of BD, partially because of where she was at emotionally after losing Robin. The overall effect it has on me is rawer and more drenching. I always think BD sounds calculated in comparison.

Wild Heart Wil Heart Wild Heart
There was so much I love about Wild Heart...She does go a little crazy..more etheral...she seemed to change directions from a rock goddess(bella donna) to a softer, more fragile gypsy |

Wild Heart. She was at her peak IMO. Everything about this album is perfection with the exception of Gate and Garden which should have been All the Beautiful Worlds. Her vocals, her sex appeal, her writing, her performances, and just the songs in general. Honestly I just clearly prefer the songs on TWH over BD. BD has that country thing going on and while some of her greatest gems are included on this album (BD, HSML, L&L) the album as a whole is not quite as appealing to me as TWH. BATB and SB alone make it her best album ever. It has more raw emotion than BD and have I mentioned she was the hottest she's ever been at the time?

Ok this question is not fair. I can honestly say that I love both of these albums because of their awesomeness. And it took me awhile to decide which one I collectively like better...it was like choosing a favorite child. I actually felt bad about it
. I'm gonna have to go with BD though. That album is just genius to me. I find that when I decide to listen to one song from the album I have to listen to the entire thing. It's like an addiction or something. However, even though I like the album of BD better. Wild Heart makes me more emotional...the first time I heard BaB I started sobbing with the opening strings. And the first time I got pulled over I was rocking out to Stand Back . So that album definitely has it's memories. Also the WH tour was incredible and I'm totally in love with those performances...ok can I just call it even??

There are definitely some standout tracks on the Wild Heart for me (Stand Back, Wild Heart, BatB, Nothing Ever Changes, Sable on Blonde, Enchanted...) but I have to say that overall, I prefer Bella Donna. I love and adore every single song and there's just something special.. it really sounds within me. That's not to say I don't love The Wild Heart, because like I said, I really do, it's definitely incredible, there's a lot of passion and insane vocals. It's a very close call, but as for the albums as wholes, I have to choose Bella Donna.

She's smoking hot in red, very classy. #12 Girls night, Stevie and all her best girlfriends and I could just hang. You know watch a movie, talk about this and that. I would just let it flow in the most natural way possible no pressure to entertain just be. #13 Wow, tuff one. Bella Donna, because the songs are brilliant and very close to her demo's. I love every song and the running order is perfect. Last edited by fairydust75; 09-22-2011 at 06:49 PM.. |

A simple, quiet dinner. Boring, I know.
However I do plan on slipping her some truth serum before I let loose with the questions... ![]()

Bella Donna.
WH has it's high points, but overall there are just a few too many... I dunno? Airy-fairy songs, for lack of a better term... ![]()

Bella Donna. Sure, The Wild Heart is wild in the darkest places of your mind
, and has some wicked a$$ vocals! But BD is just a substantial, well built Noah's Ark, that can & will float me to kingdom come .Supposing WH substituted GAG for ATBW & IWRTY for VAB & thrown in "Garbo" for good measure - then I suppose they would almost be equal. ![]() Last edited by Christopher; 09-22-2011 at 10:40 PM.. |

The Midnight Special outfit, it's so perfect. It's so feminine, the colour is really pretty, and it's the right sort of flowy. Her hair there is fantastic as well.
Coffee shop! Or anywhere I could just talk to her for hours on end. Pretty much my dream first date with anyone. Ooh, so not fair. The Wild Heart just edges it, mainly for the fantastic vibrato she has on her vocals. I love that. Although, Bella Donna has no weak tracks and TWH has one (I look at you, Gate and Garden, and I start to cry)
