#3August 4, 1994, Street Angel Tour, Raleigh, North Carolina. Third row and I was pushed up to the stage by my friends for the Stage Walk. I was so nervous, and got to touch her hand. I was completely shell shocked. I remember how soft her hand was...ahh.... I was 19 years old, and had been a fan since I heard Talk To Me on the radio. All my friends were headbangers, so they were perplexed at my adoration of someone like her. I saw her again in 2007, Crystal Visions Tour, and again last night in Bristow, Virginia. I alson saw her with The Mac, ofcourse. I am a major music lover, I love all kinds of music country, rock, heavy metal, jazz, standards, blues, rock, hip hop, everything except maybe blue grass, classical and electronic stuff. No other artist has captured my soul like Stevie. I feel like I have a connection with her, and I know she feels that same connection from us all. |

I was at this show too. I loved the Street Angel tour and thought she was incredible, although I didn't get to shake her hand... at least not till the Raleigh Enchanted Tour 98.

Oooh, I'm a little behind on these:
#1: I was a junior in HS when the White Album came out, and a senior when Rumours came out, so that was ALL ... hooked on Crystal, Rhiannon, Blue Letter, Monday Morning, but LOVED GDW and well, all of Rumours (but I really wished they had shared that grapmmy with Hotel California)... #2 Fav photo is on the back of the Red Rocks VCR box -- that just makes me melt, and #3 ... first saw her w/ FM in Birmingham AL in 1980, from a ledge in the balcony on her side of the stage. Black top hat, high boots, and coked to the gills, dancing backstage after every song to get more...legendary Sisters of the Moon that night, with the backdrop moon and tree thing goin on...SO F'in ROCKIN! And she and LB sang Angel that night also! Oh, to see that again. One can only hope they do a BN tour before too long!

I can appreciate it in retrospect, but I was disappointed at the time. The show was a disappointing mess. The pacing of the show was all off, and she was clearly not in good form. It didn't dissuade me from being a fan, but I remember going home thinking "She could have done better...she's better than this." Of course, I had no clue about the personal issues she was dealing with at the time. At least I'm glad to say I saw a Rock A Little show!

1994 - Street Angel tour - Greek Theater in Berkeley, CA.
I had only recently discovered FM, but at 13 wasn't old enough (or financially capable) or being a diehard fan. My parents took me and my sister on a family trip to San Francisco and it was completely unplanned, but they decided to cross the bay and get us tix to this show. They were crappy seats, but I still remember it to this day. I didn't see Stevie live again until '97, but I've been a regular concert-goer since.

This list depends on what sort of mood I'm in, if I'm in a really depressed mood, the slightest thing can set me off
But, if I'm in a good mood, it takes a really powerful song to do that, so I'll bold those ones.Dreams Silver Springs Beautiful Child Storms That's Alright When I See You Again The Highwayman Beauty And The Beast Doing The Best That I Can Love Is For What It's Worth
