I'm working my way through Ken Caillat's Making of Rumours, and also James Joyce' The Portrait of an Artist as a Young Man.

I've been reading Anne Rice's Violin for months. It's a great book, but I rarely have time to read unless I'm taking the bus to work. I haven't been on the bus in a couple months....so I'm a little stuck.

Next on my list is this one. I'll be buying a house and moving soon, and chickens are tops on my list.

Helping out here at the library has it advantages because when it comes time to order new books the librarian gets a few that I like.

Edit: Add it the behemoth sized "World War II - A Complete Photographic History" edited by Hal Buell (This thing is going to cause me a hernia to lug around)

How is the Keith Richards book? I kind of want to read it.

Glad to see some some of the younger ones enjoy reading.

Let's see...recently, I finished In the Woods - a mystery, a genre of which I'm not particularly fond. But this was a compelling read, with really lush prose. I also finished Escape From Camp 14, an account of a man who escaped from the harshest of North Korea's prison camps. It is quite disturbing in parts, but I couldn't put it down.

I read Silver Linings Playbook last night. It was a good read, but I have to say I enjoyed the movie more.

Reading things in class can ruin a lot of great books unfortunately. I'm looking forward to and dreading the movie at the same time.

I just finished Chad Harbach's book "The Art of Fielding." I rarely enjoy fiction, but this was PERFECT! Totally awesome, and I don't even like baseball. I'm also struggling through the second book in George R.R. Martin's "Song of Fire and Ice" (Game of Thrones) series.

I'm fixing to reread Sammy Hagar's autobiography. By next week, I hope that the library will have the 2 books I ordered.

I'm currently reading a book by a Peruvian writer named Mario Vargas Llosa called "Conversation in the Cathedral." It's a little confusing but in my opinion it's very good!

online there was a link to the original manuscript of Sammy's autobiography, and it was not the same one that was released - the original I read online was so open on issues within the Van Halen camp that those issues mentioned had to be removed or face libel suits over what was stated inside.

Just finished "The Last Days of Marilyn Monroe" by Donald Wolfe (I have a new respect for Ms.Monroe now, she was not a 'blonde bimbo' at all - but someone who wanted to be taken serious when the rest of the world saw her as only a "sex symbol/sex toy")
