Being from the north, whenever I hear any of this get brought up I am completely awestruck. I feel like most of us up here are very politically correct, and tolerant of most. (You have the one or two exceptions, but every place does for that part.)
I heard someone make a racist comment today in class, that was meant, and I just looked over, jaw hanging, and said "what the hell did you just say?"
It made me REALLY uncomfortable. haha
