It's nothing for them to have to give me 10-15 Novocaine injections, sometimes more. He had to cancel his next THREE appointments, because he couldn't get them out. My roots were intertwined with each other(interlock your fingers). He finally sawed them in half, and pulled out the pieces(most of them ).
I was those black and blue purple streaks, all the way down onto my chest. My head swelled up like a basketball. I tried to take Vicodin, but it makes me nauseous, and combined with the copious amounts of blood, that was still coming from the holes, wasn't a good combination. Vomiting, would have been a true nightmare. So I just dealt with it, with some Advil. I had root slivers, working their way out of my gums, for about 2 years.
Without a doubt, the worst "medical" thing, that has ever happened to me.

Oh goodness, what a horrific experience you had! I'm so sorry you had such a hard time. This makes me very thankful that I've been as lucky as I have with the procedure.

The swelling for me was worse than the pain so it made it harder to eat. Mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, pasta with just sauce without any meat or chunky stuff didn't bother me, milkshakes, eggs, fish as long as it's not fried or any crunchy breading etc. on it, whatever you do don't eat rice especially if your's were pulled and not surgically removed (mine were still under the gum line so I was stitched up). That's basically all I had for a few days.

Mine were surgically removed.. they stitched up all but one of the incisions (I'm not quite sure why they didn't stitch one, I think it had something to do with difficulty getting the tooth out on account of it being so high up or something)..
And I rather WISH I were high on some kind of medicine right now haha, because I'm feeling the pain pretty bad today and instead of making me feel good the vicodin has just made me crabby and sleepy.
I think I'm gonna try to have some noodles tomorrow, but for today I'm gonna have to stick with food that doesn't have to be chewed at all... I literally can't move my mouth without having sharp pains. I have to eat with my tongue and by tilting my head back lol.
