Have you seen the recent Chris Isaak TV show with Stevie as guest? Have you seen the Soundstage show she will be selling soon? Even a casual or brief look at these shows proves that Stevie's energy & commitment to the moment fall way off when she's performing with Mac. I think that's what most people in the thread are commenting on -- the widely varying levels of energy. It's kind of confusing. Now age itself can cause energy levels to rise & fall, as we all learn. But is it then just physiological coincidence that she grows subdued & bland every time she plays with the Mac, & conversely smiles & laughs & clowns in any other situation?
