Liam, I don't really have any idea. Do you have the WMMS Cleveland phone call to Stevie in 1981? The DJ plays Cathouse Blues or something from Almanac, & Stevie says that that collection of songs (Cathouse Blues, That's All Right, Garbo, Sorcerer, Watchdevil, Goldfish & Ladybug, Candlebright, Secret Love) were done in one of Stevie's old houses & so therefore she knows which friend of hers took those tapes & sold them. She was kind of angry as she thought about it because her train of thought led her to consider just which person it might have been, & she seemed to settle on a suspect.
A couple of songs, including Battle of the Dragon, were snatched by guys who visited Kim Anderson after his & Stevie's separation. Also snatched were items of Stevie clothing & music awards & plaques.
This kind of thing probably happens to all big stars, don't you think?
