it's a nice plan, except they are booked solid from jan through mid-july already. and Mick just said at some m&g that they will be touring Australia some time in Nov 2015.
so the only time they have to finish the album (assuming they take aug off after working through jul) will be sept-oct 2015. i still hold a glimmer of hope that will happen, but if i'm realistic i would go with low expectations that are worded so eloquently by the title of this thread.
