I think they could really take this song to places that the demo never could, both sonically R&B and harmony-wise. That bass line is what MAKES the demo for me. Well, that plus the lyrics, "...touching fingers thru the kitchen lace..."

Keith, you are awesome!!! Yes, these lyrics remind us that Stevie is first and foremost a poet! I'm happy that the world (those weird non-Stevie fans) will hopefully get to hear some of these exquisite lines for the first time.
