I'm apparently in the minority in that I don't like Joan of Arc. Melodically and lyrically it's kind of a mess that never goes anywhere, to me. "Turn to the wall baby" is even worse than "What's the matter baby" in my book.
I DO like the feel of the FM recording - I
love the drums and percussion, and that little sitar-like riff thing. But like I said, can't stand the song itself. So if they could take the instrumentation FM did and expand on that w/ some structural variation and write a different song inside of it...
