Comparison of money from tours
 

I was looking at the pollstar data of Stevie's tours, and it made me want to figure out which had the best average intake per show. I adjusted pollstar's data for inflation, putting the money from each year into 2005 dollars.

This surprised me. Can you believe how much the 2001 tour leads the pack? I could not find data for the 1981 tour or the 2005 tour.

I think Shangri La is when Stevie got the influx of newer fans because of the Dance, then Enchanted. I mean, I think it took hold then. If you'll notice some of the youngens on here, and even some regular age people say they got into Mac heavily from The Dance. Also, Trouble had new material, Enchanted didn't. Although I'm not sure if that is really a factor.

Thank you. As a grad student, they've brainwashed me to notice these details, too. I'd love to know how many tickets she's sold each tour. I think that's a better measure. Though, I'll admit that I'm a newbie as of TISL, so I know that some of us are pushing up the tix sales....

They don't even have all the dates on pollstar......how can they can the right right amount?
