Sorry, work's been pretty rough with grody questions from students ("if a condom's been laying around on the floor for a few weeks, and I come into contact with it, can I still catch something?" :shocked: "Ummm...why do you ask?" "Oh, I'm just wondering.") So, it got me thinking about how gross we are (or aren't.) WARNING: Dissention - stop reading NOW! Do you ever pick your nose when nobody's around? Ever eaten a booger? Do you use public bathrooms to pee? Do you use public bathrooms to poop? If yes to either of the above, do you just it on the seat, wipe the seat & then sit, use a seat cover, or hover? After you use the bathroom at home, do you always wash your hands? If you have pets, do you let them lick you on the face? Ever have sex with 2 people in one day? As an adult, have you ever peed yourself? What's the longest you've gone without brushing your teeth? What's the longest you've gone without bathing? Do you use the pen at the bank that's chained to the counter? Do you use a clean cup/glass every time you get something to drink at home? Do you share beverages with others? Do you ever pick your nose when nobody's around? Once in a while, but with a tissue. Not sure why I need the tissue...
Ever eaten a booger? I'm sure I did at one point, cuz I know they're kind of salty. I don't recall doing it recently, so I must have been little. I do remember a kid in my 3rd grade class who put all of his on a piece of paper in his desk & saved them up to eat later. Do you use public bathrooms to pee? Fer sure Do you use public bathrooms to poop? I'm a firm believer in "when you gotta go, you gotta go." Everbody poops. If yes to either of the above, do you just it on the seat, wipe the seat & then sit, use a seat cover, or hover? If available, I use the cover. If not, I attempt to hover. After you use the bathroom at home, do you always wash your hands? Not always. If you have pets, do you let them lick you on the face? Of course - I can't turn down their kisses! I just try not to think about what they were licking last. Ever have sex with 2 people in one day? No As an adult, have you ever peed yourself? I was 15, and I was very, very drunk. Surprised I didn't get my stomach pumped. I tripped & fell into the bathtub at my parent's house & passed out. When I woke up I had peed. Yuck. What's the longest you've gone without brushing your teeth? I've skipped a day on occasion, if I'm hungover & not going anywhere. But I usually get so grossed out that I'm brushing by the afternoon What's the longest you've gone without bathing? Maybe 2 days. tops. That's a huge stretch for me, though. I usually shower 1 or 2 times every day. Do you use the pen at the bank that's chained to the counter? No way. Cooties. Do you use a clean cup/glass every time you get something to drink at home? No way. My own cooties. Who cares? Do you share beverages with others? I used to until I learned about herpes in nursing school. Once in a while I do (I usuallyask "do you have herpes" & they laugh & I say "no, really do you?" |

I try not to wipe the seat, that is gross. Usually I'll just try the next stall. In emergencies, I have definitely hovered. After you use the bathroom at home, do you always wash your hands? No, just sometimes. It works out, cause most of my friends don't, either. (ewww! Amber!! Yuck!!) but I'll usually do it if my friends are there, anyway, for some abstract politeness reason. If you have pets, do you let them lick you on the face? Well, they don't really want to. Dogs? Not so much. Ever have sex with 2 people in one day? Ho****. um...maybe? are you talking 24 hr. period? I think, once, or so. Maybe a few times. I had concurrent BF's, once, or twice. As an adult, have you ever peed yourself? No. What's the longest you've gone without brushing your teeth? Um, a day, I guess. Maybe a day and a half. What's the longest you've gone without bathing? 3 days, camping. Do you use the pen at the bank that's chained to the counter? No, I have a pen fetish, I always have a great pen on me. Do you use a clean cup/glass every time you get something to drink at home? Well, if by clean, you mean I'm the only one that previously used it, then yes. Do you share beverages with others? Yep. Constantly. Thanks for the sips in Vegas. :laugh: Okay, what I think is really gross, is when people spit on the sidewalk, or blow their nose in public. Also, when people put their foot up on public transpo. Also, the other day, i saw these teen boys spitting out their sunflower seeds right in the BART station. That was super gross. Basically, I hate public displays of spit and/or snot. Also, I'd like to add that Cali is the "crunchy, natural" state, and that I rarely, RARELY, get sick. :cool: |

What's the longest you've gone without brushing your teeth? As an adult, no more than two days. As a child... who knows? What's the longest you've gone without bathing? Same as previous. Do you use the pen at the bank that's chained to the counter? umm.. no. I'm kind of antisocial so I don't actually go up to the teller, I use the ATM and I use my own pen. Do you use a clean cup/glass every time you get something to drink at home? It depends on what I'm drinking. If it's water, soda, or juice then I don't always use a clean glass. If it's milk than yes I do. Do you share beverages with others? Sometimes if we're really broke a friend and I will share a soda at the movies. |

Once, I had a layover of 12 hours and I had bathed about 12 hours before that so, by the time I got home to shower, it would have been close to 36 hours.
