anyway--

she was saying how she had to wait to use russ titleman to produce her fist solo project in many years because he was working w paul simon, how it went very quickly but the preparation felt like it took awhile, how she starts writing once she knows she has to because she's not particularly prolific, and doesn't write for any particular project-- for Fm or for her solo stuff--, just writes stuff she likes. they all are good friends now, she's not sure if they would have been as good friends without the solo projects because they all helped each other. maybe in may or june she'd love to do a month in europe and spain, they are the nicest people in the world.
