amazing after all these years to find interviews I haven't seen.... this one I somehow missed from the TISL promo... so in case others missed it too...

The interviewer seems like a real fan. Good clips. Love the conversation about Lindsey, the "skating" footage.... and I didn't realize she and Kim "are really good friends" now...and Christine "ran away" from FMac...hmmm...

Thanks for posting! It was so NOT 1982 by the way (as it was labeled in part 3 during the pretend ice skating). LOL at Lindsey getting skating direction from Stevie. Funny stuff.

Great quote from her about her TISL songs and LB: "He said to me, 'A lot of these songs are about me, hon.' I said, 'Well aren't you just so flattered that you have been such an incredible inspiration to me my whole life, Linds.'" :laugh:

Glad folks found these as enjoyable as I did.

Another moment I liked was the photo shoot with John Shanks when he talks about calling her up and asking her to sing on something and she says she went right over to his house "within an hour" and he says, "well, Stevie time".... like she probably came over a month later or something....:laugh:

Question: In the first part Stevie talks about Tom and how he helped her....then it fades to a interview clip to 1981 with Stevie about Tom Petty with Toronto on the screen. Does anyone have that interview? :angel: I don't think I've seen that old video either!

It makes me relive TISL. I remember when that album came out and I was so excited for new Stevie music. Then 9/11 happened, and then album and momentum seemed to fade away. I love this album and this interview. Thanks so much.

Thank you for posting this - I love it! Mama looked great in 2001, but I think she looks even better now.

Looking through these clips again I am wondering what all the footage with John Shanks, Sheryl Crow etc was being done for? It was a photo shoot and still photos were clearly being taken because you can hear the shutter clicking away but the filming of the whole shoot seems very professionally done and not just home-video'ed or casual.. Does anyone know if some kind of promotional film for like a dvd package or some such was being done at that time? As far as I know this footage hasn't been released, which makes me nervous about all the footage shot for the dvd for IYD that still has yet to come out....
