Digital camera and airports question

Ok I am leaving on my big trip tomorrow. I am flying and this is my first time with my digital camera. I just bought a high speed secure digital card.
I just want to know if anyone has experience with going through the x-ray machines. Is it safe for my camera and card to go through? I would hate to pay $100.00 for a card and have it be ruined :distress:

Pattie...

OK Christy, thanks. I think that I am just being paranoid. LOL

Lol

Have a Safe Trip and a Great Time, Pattie!!!!!
Happy Birthday and enjoy that view of Lindsey!!!

Thanks, I just hope that I don't get told to put the camera away! I will not be happy at all.

Thanks Christa,

I hope to get some good photos of Lindsey. I hope to get up near Lindsey! :woohoo:

By the way I called customer service today and they did not have the info for Mansfield yet. :(

Yeah, you should be fine. I brought mine to Cancun a year or two ago and it came out fine (even though I broke it by not moving out of the path of a wave fast enough).

I did read an article in the local newspaper about some types of films & cameras being damaged by the xrays, but I think they were all non-digital.

I always worry about that kind of thing, but I haven't really heard of people having problems with digitals and the X-rays.

I'll be the first and you'll hear about it next week...actually, i'll hear about how I broke the $500 camera for the next 20 years of my life

$500 can buy a gal a lot of thongs. Careful, Cheetah.

- Jake

Raawr.

No wonder I'm a dog person. :)

- Jake

As am I. Here's your collar and leash, Jake. :wavey:

Sorry, I don't know where they've been.

Not to mention, and me without my wallet. Keep the business chat for the others.

- Jake

 :distress:

Gee, why the Smurf smilies, friend?

- Jake

Sorry, i've yet to find a smilie that holds up a sign that says, "You? Are An Ass."

<---wishes she has a dollar for everytime she's called you an ass

And find a smilie with a sign that tells you where to stick that first sign.

- Jake

Find it yourself.

Done.

- Jake

Good. :p

-Marissa.

Fine. (Last word.)

- Jake

Whatever. (The real last word.)

ZZTop.

- Jake

Poor Pattie...all she wanted to do was find out about her camera :distress:
