I really hate to report this to you guys, but it seems that ABC has axed
Stevie's Christmas Special. And though it's not official yet, they're replacing
Stevie's show with a re-airing of the 1977 Bing Crosby Christmas Special.
You guys remember the Crosby and David Bowie duet.......right?

Well, I guess we can hope for a DVD release.

Carrie, you have been a rude, nasty jerk to me since I first became a member. Every chance you get you love to be rude. You may not like my threads but at least I contribute to this board. I honestly laughed when I first read this thread.....I so wished it was true....but if Stevie can't even release a 'full' Christmas cd than why would she do a TV special for one???? Other than releasing 'Silent Night' like what is it 4/5 times now. Its sad it would be really cool......I'd love a full Christmas LP /cd by her......but another of the many things in the world of Stevie that isn't gonna happen.....like her demos/masters/outtakes being all released too......it does make me sad but well it is what it is or isn't.......:shrug::distress:

Thats a good one...LOL....at first I also thought it was 'true' but the moment passed cause like stated if she can't do a whole Christmas cd (like many artists have now adays) & more than one song (more than Silent Night that is) how could she do a tv special....I figured it was an 'April fools' type than done at Christmas time....not that I wish she wouldn't do something like that but I know I'm dreaming.....not just with this but many other things....IMO ....anyway, it was a good laugh though......:laugh:
