I feel like I owe them something special, and that's why I've kept this thing
so quiet."

There will be short interviews with Stevie and her guest between songs. If
the show goes over well, Stevie plans this to be an annual event.

The event will raise awareness for the Tommy Flanagan Foundation, or
better known as the P.L.A. Ms. Nicks has been a long time member of the
organization. And has served as Chairperson.

Look for this special on ABC Christmas Eve 7:00 p.m. Eastern (check local
affiliates). The event will be tape delayed for the BBC.

I don't think you could fit all this in an hour anyway. :laugh: Awww, it would have been nice though. :D

Doyle was in the Arc Angels too. Being from Texas, I'm a big fan of Doyle Bramhall II and his dad (who played at my friend's wedding). There's a bit of a Stevie connection:

Doyle also formed a new band, "Doyle Bramhall II & Smokestack," and recorded a new album produced by Benmont Tench of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers fame. Released in 2001, Welcome marked a renewed focus on guitar.

As a session guitarist, he has worked with Me'shell Ndegéocello, Sheryl Crow and Susan Tedeschi.

And one update about the show, I got to preview
the Nicks/Bramhall II duet "Merry Christmas Baby"
and it was awesome. They used the same arrangement
that Elvis Presley did, and it blew my mind. James Burton
would be proud.

LIVIA - You are from Texas? I am in Houston... we saw Arc Angels at the House of Blues here the last time they came and when they played Continental Club in 05.... We are HUGE fans ...

Yep, I've lived in Austin most of my life. I run into Charlie and Will Sexton all the time. Last time I was at Chuy's on Barton Springs, Tommy Shannon was at the next table - by himself. I almost invited him to join us.
