Ah! I can't believe you couldn't have makeup or gum. How strange. Most of my pants don't have pockets, much to my chagrin, and I don't have a car, so most of my sh** is in a big ol backpack. Of course, I have a separate "small purse which is designed to hold all my various identifying cards, in one place, and money, and lipgloss. :D

Yes, I have all their songs on record, tape, CD and on my computer. But The Complete U2 was what Bono was calling the "Digital Box Set", and if they had come out with a box set, I would have bought that anyway. So I see no real difference. Plus, the Box set came with unreleased songs that only came with the whole set. Another reason why I wouldv'e bought it anyway.

I see where you're coming from Lux. My high school didn't allow purses either. Well, we also had to wear uniform socks. Public school seemed so free in comparison.

That's just it. I really have no need for it myself. I can't see myself downloading all of those songs either. :shrug: I guess that it is just a matter of preference. I was never even a big Walkman fan either, back in the day.

Well, it was free! $ :p I guess your parents payed for the priveledge of wearing those uniform socks, though. As a comparative alternative to private school, my mom moved to a wealthy county with a good school system, and bought me so few clothes that I might as well have been wearing a uniform... :laugh:

I tend to go to the gym for over an hour these days. I think the shufle button is great when you have like 3,000 songs to choose from in that random play. So, I like it for that. I have had Walkmans, individual CD players, and mp3 players that could hold like 30 songs - all of then were limited and the IPod is not. So, I like it and it works for me!!!! :D

I was VERY pumped this week when I discovered I could fit into a whole part of my wardrobe that I have not worn in years - admittedly they did not fit very well, but they fit :shrug: I never really want to be 190 pounds again, which is around what I was in those pics., but 210 would be nice :nod: and I am about 25 or so pounds from that. At that weight, I move into all of my wardrobe - which includes all these suits and sports coats that cost me a FORTUNE or were given to me.

In fact, tonight, I went out to meet a friend and it was the first time I had seen him since NYE. He was like - hello where are you - you look great :laugh: I was a little scared of being in that rest. because they serve the BEST crabmeat rangoons in town, but I resisted and had sushi instead. Then, we walked around the local area, which was hoppin' - so I am glad I did not give into the temptation of that food. I am saving that reward for the poporn when I see Constantine tommorow :laugh: I wish I could have both - but I cannot right now.

Anyway - what a ramble :laugh: I am just proud of myself - that is all.

That's great, Strandelah, and I believe I congratulated you before and called you a stud muff. I'm so jeal, my weight is not really coming off in the way i had hoped. Luckily, i'm still fab. :laugh: I admire your small modicum of self control w/ the rangoons. Ramble forgiven.

Everyone in high school carries a purse...Well all the girls atleast LOL. No one carries a backpack or anything anymore, I use my purse for like pens and pencils and everything.

Haha. :laugh: And yet so many of the girls at UQ do just that...

It reminds me of the jocks at State High who would walk around between classes in their sports uniforms with a pen in their mouths, and a scrunched up notepad in their hands. :shrug:
