I never liked this song until I heard a clear version of it. It's not a Fleetwood Mac song but a Stevie song. It's been stuck in my head for days now. It's called Dial The Number.

Really? It's interesting what people like and don't like when they first hear it. I really liked Bella Donna the first time I heard it. I love that "ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" bit in the middle.

I love it now. It just wasn't catchy on first listen, like much of her best stuff.

Her harmony on it just blew me away. Interestingly, I had the record (album for you youngsters  ) for like a year before I listened to that one song.

Why? It's the first track, so pretty hard to miss.

My older brother made me play side 2 first b/c he like EO17. Then, I knew who she was and wanted to hear the "hits" (hey - I was young  ) and always started with SDMHA and went from there.

And if your older brother told you to jump from a bridge into Point Dume, would you?:)

You can skip
Over past the title track
Listening to your brother
But you'll never scare me

Can't say I empathize. I'm a big brother myself. And if I say I want Edge of Seventeen, screw the title track. Law of the jungle.

Warm Ways I always thought was one of the most boring songs ever and one of Christines worst and most intolerable. So......mellow.......

I thought this for months.

It's the opening track on one of the Chain discs though, and I put it in and just let it play and suddenly it struck me as this beautiful love song. Yeah, the lyrics are kinda soap-opera-ish but overall I think it's some of the prettiest music Chris ever wrote and almost as good as Prove Your Love or Why. I just sat there as it played and when it's over you just kinda smile real retardedly. It has a fantastic calming effect.

Most of Mystery To Me had to grow on me, and Heroes overall took a few listens before I could appreciate it and it's most defaintely my favorite Mac album now.

When I hear it I always feel like I'm thirteen and waiting in the orthodontist's chair again.

I don't care for any of the Kenny G. outtakes. They sound like she's improvising the words and (flat) vocals from the start.
