Alex, I sent you an e-mail. So when you get something in your inbox from a Pedro, don't throw it out.

Thanks very much for your generous offer.

I couldn't imagine NOT having absolute pitch. It makes it so much easier to figure junk out. Sorry guys! :(
It can be a curse, though.

Friend of ours has it, and it really messes her about when (for example) she has to hit 'transpose' on a keyboard because some singer has decided they can't sing something in the key the band has worked it out in. She says that hearing a B when her fingers are hitting C (for example) really does her head in :)

Also, I can't tell if there are any guitar parts other than Lindsey's, besides during the twin-guitar solo (which may very well be generated with a Boss HD-2 or PS-5 pedal). Help!

It isn't. Lindsey's playing one line live, one of the other guitarists the other.

As for the rest of the song? Make it up as you go along. :)

I decided to rewrite the tabs to the song in A for anyone who is interested...

e---------2-0-----------2-0-------------------------------
B-2-3-5------3-2-0----------3-2-0-------2--------2---
G-2-4-6--------------2---------------1-2----2-1-2---2-
D-----------------------------------------------------------
A-----------------------------------------------------------
E-----------------------------------------------------------

Then repeat that. At the end of the riff, you are placed right back at the beginning (an A chord) so you can keep it in a cycle, or jump right into the verse.

I have the intro figured out, and it's:

Quote:

High Melody
||----------0-|-(0)--2-0---------|---2-0-----------|------------------||
||o-2---3-----|----------3-2-0---|-------2-3-0---2-|-----------2-----o||
||------------|----------------2-|-1-----------1---|-2-1---1-2---2-1--||
||------------|------------------|-----------------|-----2------------||
||o-----------|------------------|-----------------|-----------------o||
||------------|------------------|-----------------|------------------||

Low Melody
||------------|------------------|-----------------|------------------||
||o-----0---2-|-(2)--3-2-0-------|---3-2---0-------|-----------------o||
||--2---------|------------2-1---|-------2---1---2-|-----------2------||
||------------|----------------4-|-2-----------2---|-4-2---2-4---4-2--||
||o-----------|------------------|-----------------|-----4-----------o||
||------------|------------------|-----------------|------------------||
I'm not sure if the tabs are right, but i'm positive that they're the right notes.

We still need help with bass and additional guitars (if there are any)!

EOTW for Acoustic???

:wavey: Do we play EOTW on acoustic???;) I can't
get the video up...or do we use the electric???
That sounds dumb!!!Sorry we are limited in our
guitar symbol writing!!! EOTW is an oldie but a
GOODIE! Lindsey likes to drop down!!!:eek:Sky:confused:

stratist3217 12-26-2003 05:51 PM

I can do this arrangement of EOTW on acoustic, but I'm too lazy to tab it out.

WE NEED BASS TIPS!
...and if there are any other guitars, rhythm/backing lead guitar tips!
