Silver Girl.
I'm not kidding. ;) |
Hmmm... Talk To Me, Angel (SN), Brown Eyes, Big Love (both versions), Hypnotized, Steal Your Heart Away, and Miranda :D.
|
Being that I've pretty much dived deep into each Fleetwood Mac song since 1967, some sink to get rare turns on the sound system, some have floated back to the surface to get repeated plays for a time, then sink back into the depths for a while...the recent "floaters":
Forever-(the harmonies & the pseudo-Reggae beat gave me a big slap upside the head in the past couple of months) Rollin' Man-(Peter Green's guitar tone is perfection on this) Looking For Somebody-(my bands' DRUMMER of all people reacquainted me with this Peter Green gem...his suggestion was for us to cover it! I think it is cool that our drummer of all people is well versed in Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac) Walk A Thin Line-(there's something about Lindsey's tunes on Say You Will that seem to have sprouted from this tune, and I've been trying to hear exactly what it is about the new tunes that make me think of this Tusk tune in particular...I really like Mick's version on The Visitor, too.) |
Recently, "Say Goodbye" and "What's The World Coming To" - definitely better live. Starting to really adore the studio version of "Goodbye Baby", too - the live boots I have are too much plastered in synth chords, IMO.

Don't Stop because at first I thought it was too happy to be on Rumours. Then I saw the Dance and fell in love with it.
Peacekeeper just because it had to grow on me. |
Definitely "Come" and "What's the World Coming To?" as well as "No Questions Asked" and "Brown Eyes."
|
Without any doubt "Never going back again", the chemistry between all three voices, and "Stephanie" from BN ( does that count?)
I love Lindsey's guitar playing. It can bring tears in my eyes. Will:cool: |
Angel, sweet girl
:wavey: |
I forgot about this one. Gold Dust Woman. I absolutely hated it until I read what it was about because it made like no sense. I love it now.

Recently, for me it has become Miranda.
I can't get that song out of my head:laugh: But everytime I put Tusk on and Brown Eyes comes on, I repeat it a couple of times...such a wonderful gem on that album. |
For me it was Gold Dust Woman. I hated it when it first came out and never really cared for it until I saw it live during the Dance. Don't know why either but now I can listen to it and the louder the better.

Other than that, it would have to be Future Games. I love the album itself, especially Morning Rain, but the title track I often overlooked. Now, I really see it for what it is, a really awesome pre-BN tune. Shamus:) |
Now that I think of it, Bella Donna is the biggest example for me.
