Found out through Fleetwood Mac News on Twitter!!
December 4th at the Barnes and Noble at The Grove in LA! Signing is at 7pm, wristbands will be given out after DVD purchase that day beginning at 9am. I called the store and they weren't sure yet how many wristbands would be given, but the man I talked to said usually "there is enough". (Not sure if that's accurate - Stevie put a limit of 200 wristbands at the Amoeba CD signing in 2011) He said after you get your wrist band you are put into alphabetical groups (verses numbered wristbands).

For those in Australia, I hope she's still doing the Q and A screening event there this month.

I still want to find out more details, but ISN'T THIS AWESOME?! I'm happy because my wife finally gets to meet Stevie now.

The Sell Sheet came across my desk, here's a small
portion of what it said...

ALBUM FACTS
Genre: Rock

Description: In Your Dreams, co-directed by Stevie Nicks and Dave Stewart
is a documentary that follows Stevie Nicks as she begins writing and recording
her first solo album in nearly a decade.

ARTIST & INFO
Hometown: Phoenix, Arizona

Stephanie Lynn Nicks (born May 26,1948) is an American singer-songwriter who in the
course of her work with Fleetwood Mac and her extensive solo career, has produced
over forty Top 50 hits and sold over 140 million albums. She was deemed "The
Reigning Queen Of Rock and Roll" and one of the "100 Greatest Singers of All Time"
by Rolling Stone, and as a member of Fleetwood Mac was inducted into the Rock and
Roll Hall Of Fame in 1998. As a solo artist she has garnered eight Grammy Award
nominations (3) and with Fleetwood Mac, a further five.
___________________________________________________________

Nothing more of substance was in the Sell Sheet, that was dated November 6, 2013.
Unless you need the "codes".

Two things stood out to me. As of now no mention of a Blu ray release.
Add your own curse word here >________.

The other, "over 140 million" albums sold - yeah, right.

I'm tired it's time to sleep...

They were weird about cameras at the Amoeba signing. - they didn't allow them. I got extremely lucky to get a pic with her only because Amoeba took it and it was posted on their site.
Hopefully this time will be different, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I work until 4 and can get there by 5, do you guys think that will be too late to get a DVD and get inline? Last time she was at Amoeba I was at work not two miles from the store and couldn't leave and I literally had to keep going to the bathroom because I start crying. I know, I'm such a baby. I really want to meet her. Should I take the day off work and go early in the morning like they had to do at Amoeba? Will there be any info about this posted anywhere?

I would definitely take the day off. I wouldn't take a chance getting there that late.
I'm taking the day off. We plan to get our wristbands early and spend the day in LA (we're coming from San Diego). Good thing about wristbands is once you have one you can go about your day and not have to wait in line the entire day.
The Barnes and Noble site has the event listed but not a lot of info. Best bet is to call them with questions.

Your story on the last round rates as one of my favorite ones EVER. You know, the one about how you planned on wearing no makeup for a few days beforehand so you would appear sickly to your boss and co workers so that when you did call in sick, you were believed. CLASSIC

I haven't been there at 4:00 a.m., but I've been there after midnight and it was well-lighted and secure and there were other people milling about, so I didn't feel isolated. Yes, 4 a.m. is a different story. But if you're allowed to be there at that time, then I'm sure they will make sure it's safe and yes, they'd definitely have 24-hour security for the closed stores, if not for patrons.

This time there was enough notice for me to arrange for the day off, so I won't have to go to those extreme measures.

From RollingStone ..

Stevie Nicks' 'In Your Dreams' Documentary Due in December
Film chronicles the making of her seventh album

By Kory Grow

November 18, 2013 4:30 PM ET

Stevie Nicks will release what's being billed as an "intimate" documentary, titled In Your Dreams, on December 3rd. The film will chronicle the making of the Fleetwood Mac singer's 2011 solo album, In Your Dreams – a period she has called "the greatest year of my life." When it was released, In Your Dreams was Nicks' first album in a decade, and it featured several songs cowritten and coproduced by Eurythmics founder Dave Stewart. Stewart also co-produced and co-directed the documentary.

See Where Stevie Nicks Ranks on Our List of the 100 Greatest Singers

The film will be available in different configurations, one of which – the limited-edition deluxe DVD bundle – comes with a copy of the film signed by Nicks, a limited-edition handwritten letter by Nicks and never-before-seen photos. It is currently sold out. Fans seeking an autograph, however, can attend a DVD signing at Barnes and Noble at the Grove in Hollywood on December 4th at 7:00 pm.

The documentary shines a light on Nicks's personal life, according to a press release, and shows her writing songs, tap-dancing and attending costume parties and feasts. It's said to include cameos by Mick Fleetwood, Reese Witherspoon and, quizzically, Edgar Allan Poe, as well as a white stallion, owls and "vampires" who appear in "home video–style music videos." Lastly, it also includes a look at previously unseen seen pictures of Nicks's childhood and several candid photos taken over the past 35 years.

In other Nicks news, the noted witch enthusiast will be appearing on an episode of American Horror Story: Coven playing a role she knows intimately: herself. She filmed her appearance while Fleetwood Mac took a break from touring, as John McVie underwent cancer treatment. "She called and said, 'I'm now available, sadly enough, if you wanna use me,'" the show's creator, Ryan Murphy, recently said. "So I said, 'Let's do it!' So she's flying in for like two days and doing her scenes. I know every person in the show is like, 'I better be in that goddamn scene!' It's funny."

We got in line at 5am and were the 25th or so in line. We ended up being the last 2 in for the very first group. We got priority wristbands ( Barnes and Noble members) so we will be in the first group. I'm glad because I plan to videotape her speaking before the signing starts.

Wow - you are lucky too - they told me that the red priority wristbands sold out in less than 15 minutes. Based on what they said about photography I am hoping that the person in line in front of us may be able to actually take our picture while she is signing. Please someone ask more about the Christine of it all and maybe if she'd ever do a Bootleg series like Bob Dylan has been (maybe if we drop the Dylan name it will have an effect).

I'm not sure there's more for her to say regarding Christine besides what she said last night on KLOS. I wouldn't want to waste a question on something we already know the answer to or doesn't know the answer to. I was going to ask her about the videos we haven't seen yet, or if there will be a dvd of the Wiltern show, but she probably doesn't know.
I haven't decided exactly what I'm going to say to her this time around. I'm not nervous this time, which is a relief. (Although I might be a little by the time I get up to her.)

Someone on FB posted there were only 90+ people. I can't imagine that's true. Is it???

No way - they counted the line multiple times and did it in groups so they have heard the person counting in the 90's but that would be in it's own grouping. I would estimate there were a little over 200 by the time they opened.

UndoingTheLaces

I was there. Whoever said 90 people may have posted that about 7ish. I got there about 7:30 am. There were around 120 or more people in front of me and by the time I walked into the store there was a line all the way down the street behind me. I met some really nice guys in line so the time went fast.

I have my wristband and am chilling out in my apartment in Hollywood. I'll go back around 4 or 5. They said we didn't need to go back until around 6 because they won't line us up until 7 and each group of wristbands are lettered and will be allowed in alphabetically. But I want to be there early regardless. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it. :]

I'm just hoping I don't vomit in front of her. I never get star struck but Stevie has had the single most influence on me, from writing songs, to the way I listen to music and even the way I live my life. If I ran into her on the street I might be able to make small talk but tonight I have a feeling I'm gonna be like Ralphie in A Christmas Story sitting on Santa's lap.

Oh, and for everyone going... don't forget to unwrap your DVDs!!! I used to work for a porn company and we had one of our models autograph a stack of DVDs he was the star of. We left him in a room by himself to do it. When he was done he said his goodbyes and left. We later went into the room to grab the DVDs only to find that he'd signed every single one with the plastic still on.

It was a very exciting event. Stevie looked beautiful, as usual. I have to give her credit for cranking out hundreds of autographs, while still seeming to be engaged and making personal connections with fans. I thanked her for writing "Italian Summer" and that I understood how the Amalfi Coast could be so inspiring. She replied, "There is something about the air... I will live there someday!" No pictures were allowed beyond a certain point in the line, so we tried to get in as many shots from just beyond the signing table.

There were hundreds of people waiting to see her, with a line wrapping around blocks of The Grove. 400 wristbands were distributed, with another 100+ people on standby. They tried to accommodate everyone, but, alas, about 80 or so were turned away at around 10:00 pm.

But Sharon impressed me the most. She was so chatty and just hanging out, signing autographs and taking pictures with fans. She was so gracious and lovely. I'm sure she gets a kick out of everyone recognizing her at these events. Just a classy lady.

They had separated everyone into groups with letters. The Barnes & Nobles club members got first in line then the A's. My partner and I had letter I. Around 8:30 I got a text from a friend who had letter B. I kept thinking we'd never get in. But after that it actually went pretty quickly. My partner is much younger than me and he asked me what I thought would be a good thing to ask or tell her. I said he should tell her that he's a new fan because he got into her from my playing her music all the time and just totally fell in love with her. I dunno, I just thought it would make her day. He said "I'm a new found fan of yours" and she said "oh yeah, well when did you find me?" He replied "about a year ago. I loved the movie and that's a beautiful house", she smiled at him and said "it is". There was a little more to the exchange and she was so sweet to him. I think I actually enjoyed watching the two of them interact more than anything. He really is the love of my life and I've been a fan of hers since I was a kid. So it was a really special moment for me.

My moment was a little different. I didn't have any questions. Most of the stuff I ever wonder about is usually answered here on the Ledge. But for me, when I meet someone who's had a huge influence on me I feel the need to thank them. And that's just what I did. While she signed my DVD I was rambling on, something about her being a huge inspiration to me. I felt a little like Ralphie in a Christmas Story meeting Santa. But when she was done she handed me the DVD and looked me in the eye. There was a pause. Time sorta stopped and my head cleared and I said, "You've written the soundtrack to my life... and I can't thank you enough". She said a very humble "thank you" and smiled at me. There was really nothing else to say. I think I'll remember that moment for the rest of my life.

Oh, I didn't realize that priority at events like these could be a benefit of club membership. That's something to keep in mind.

It's so exciting that you have not only the memory of your own meeting, but your partner's as well. It's very nice for you to have those moments as a shared thing. Michele

Thanks to everyone for sharing the experience. I'm not sure I'll ever get to meet her, so its great to get a glimpse of what it's like. I would really just like to thank her, which is why I like the quote below. As long as she knows how much we appreciate her, I'm sure she does

Time sorta stopped and my head cleared and I said, "You've written the soundtrack to my life... and I can't thank you enough". She said a very humble "thank you" and smiled at me. There was really nothing else to say. I think I'll remember that moment for the rest of my life.

How I missed out on meeting Stevie Nicks

As some of you know, I am a huge Fleetwood Mac fan. But also, I am a huge fan of Stevie Nicks.

For me, that band has shaped my love for music even more. And the mysteriousness of Nicks still captures me today. And I will admit, if I was a teenager in the 70s, I’d be mad crushing on her. Seriously, she’s amazing.

I was driving home from work today, stuck in traffic when I was listening to the radio and they said that Stevie Nicks had a signing for her new DVD at Barnes & Noble. While flipping through my phone while I was driving, I find out that the Barnes & Noble is at The Grove and it was 15 minutes away. Instead of sitting in traffic, I get off and drive to the place.

Unfortunately, I would find out that it would be a wasted effort.

In order to get in line for the signing, you either had to get a wristband or wait outside and HOPE that she would have time for you. To get the wristband, you had to be one of the first people to buy her DVD that day. Apparently, all of those wristbands were given away at 10AM. I could have been one of them had I known about it.

But for the line to wait, it was long. Real long. There was no chance I could get in to meet her within such short one-hour time frame.

The entire second floor was filled with the priority wristband people. Then around the block were the people waiting for a chance. There was no chance for me. I showed up too late. Had I known about this event, I would have gotten up and gone to Barnes & Noble to get a wristband and returned later to meet her.

That’s too bad, I really like her. Probably the most famous person to come out of my school too.

Oh well. Dr. J is coming in two weeks. I know I won’t miss that.

Amen. Is this before or after she and Lindsey go back and live in San Jose because they miss it so much? :D

I'm so happy for you. Reading this gave me goosebumps as I remembered my own experience meeting Stevie. When she said goodbye and took my hand, I, too, felt that pause and time also stopped. I will remember that moment for the rest of my life. I'm pretty sure you will as well.

I was there when you filmed the instagram. I was in an aisle and I heard a group of people walking, I looked up and there was Stevie. She was about a foot away from me. She looked beautiful up close. I did hear her say she was tired. This was even before the autograph session began. She started signing from 7p until well after 11p. At around 10:55p, the store announced they were closing at 11p. There was about 15 or so people still waiting to get their autographs. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think they gave away 300 wrist bands plus standbys. And I believe she signed them all. After about 3hrs into the signing, I did hear some people say that she was not in the mood, not her usual self. By hey, can you blame her. She signed for 4hours plus. What a trouper. Just amazing. Her hand must be sore this morning.

Here's a video I managed to sneak by putting my flipcam on a bookshelf, hoping it'd be pointed in the right direction. It turned out pretty good, but there's no audio, as it was too far away. You can tell we're conversing with Stevie, and you can see her here and there in-between us. The beginning has footage of Stevie and Sharon walking in.
I am still working on my transcript of my story and will post that soon. :)

That was smart of you to put your camera up there, before they even walked out. It was great the way Sharon and the doggy turned around and waved when her name was called.

Some of you guys like details, so here you go :p:

My wife Kim finally, officially, met Stevie Nicks tonight at her “In Your Dreams” DVD signing at Barnes & Noble at The Grove shopping center in L.A. I dictated notes on the way home to try to recall as many details as possible. It went down something like this:

Before the Signing:
We got in line around 5am that day. We spent the night before in a nearby hotel to make things easier. Our friend Christin came all the way from Baltimore for the signing. She got there at 4am and held a spot for us in line. (She explained to the few people behind her there’d be 2 more, and they were cool with it) There was about 25 people in front of us. The girls at the very front of the line got there at midnight! It was pretty cold outside when we got there (about 44 degrees), and still dark. I was dying for coffee. We found a Starbucks nearby that opened at 6, thank God. As usual, despite the cold, the time in line flew by. They opened the store to sell the DVDs and hand out wristbands at 9am. Not sure why, but talking to Stevie fans tends to pass the time easily. Wish time flew by like that at work!
Kim and I signed up to become Barnes & Noble “members” before the signing because I heard that members get access to the front of the line, before the alphabetical groups begin. So we were able to obtain special red member wristbands that put us in the very first group, even before the “A’” group. So it paid to both become members and get in line early, because they only had about 25-30 red member wristbands available. We wanted to be in the first group so we could see Stevie walk in and also so we could get on our drive back home as early as possible, as we had work the next day. After we purchased our DVDs and wristbands we headed back to our hotel to get cleaned up and changed for the signing later. This plan worked out very well. We had a late check out at 2pm, which is when we left our hotel. We headed back to The Grove shopping center where we met Christin and shopped around a little. We had dinner at The Cheesecake Factory right next door and another friend, Justin, joined us there. After dinner, we headed next door to Barnes & Noble. They wanted us there around 6pm to get organized for the 7pm signing.

The Stevie Experience
Kim was nervous, and so was Christin, but they held up ok. Both of them had never officially met Stevie before. I knew exactly what they were feeling. Justin and I weren’t very nervous, but I got occasional butterfies. I reminded Kim that she really should try to say something to Stevie, because who knows when/if this kind of opportunity would come again. I didn’t want her to regret it if she froze up.

As we got closer, we told the B&N employee that we wanted to go up to the signing desk together, and they said that was fine. (Kim wanted me with her) We got up towards the desk and Sheryl Louis, her manager, took my DVD with the post-it on it with my name and said, “Hi Jamie.” She looked at the post-it obviously and saw my name, but the way she said it and looked at me was like she knew me. (Crazy, I know. But I had sent her an email regarding possible multiple-theater IYD screenings, which subsequently happened. I don’t know – it was weird. I could’ve been just, being a manager; she makes people feel comfortable or familiar? Who knows?) Anyway, she told Marty (Stevie’s security guy) “Kim and Jamie are coming together.” Sheryl then said to Stevie, “This is Jamie and Kim.” We then scooted over towards Stevie. I shook her hand and said, “Hi Stevie! This is my wife Kim. We got married recently and used “Crystal” as the song we walked down the aisle to - the “Practical Magic” version- not Lindsey’s version, and we managed not to cry.” Stevie was looking down signing at this point, and said, “Oh – “Crystal is big this year.” Karen (Stevie’s assistant) interjected that another couple in line before us had told them the same thing. Then Kim said jokingly to Karen, “NO, WE were the only ones.” Karen laughed. Then Kim said to Stevie, “Jamie proposed to me before the Fleetwood Mac San Diego show, onstage in front of Mick.” Stevie looked up and pointed at me and said, “Oh, I know all about that.” Shocked, I said “Really?? That was me!” And Stevie said, “Oh yes, Mick told us about that.” Karen said something like, “Oh yeah!” Kim said, “Yeah, Jamie kind of stole Mick’s thunder on stage.” And Stevie said, “Well, you know, Mick is the perfect person to do something like that with.” Kim and I told her he was really great about it. I remember Stevie opened up and was smiling really big when we were talking about the proposal. Kim then told Stevie she loved her and we both thanked her. Stevie gave us a big smile and we left the table. I swear, she makes you feel like you could talk to her forever.

Sharon Celani was standing off to the side after we exited the signing area and our friend Justin was talking to her. So we stopped to talk. I introduced myself (again) and Kim to her. We shook hands. I told her I thought she was great in the documentary. I asked her if she was acting or if that was real. She kind of looked at me like, What? I laughed and said I was kidding. She laughed. I told her sincerely that although she’s been told this countless times, the sound that Stevie and her have together is really something special. She said, “Yes- Stevie, Lori and I really do have something.” Kim told her, “Don’t ever stop doing it either.” She laughed and said, “Ok.” We then asked if she wouldn’t mind taking a photo with us and she said sure. So we got our pic taken with her. We thanked her again and went on our way.

They were very strict with cameras, but I brought my Flipcam video camera. I figured I could set it up somewhere inconspicuous and just let it run, as I knew we’d probably part of the first group in. Initially, I scoped out an area (before the signing), off to the left on some bookshelves. However this idea became scrapped when I realized that particular area was virtually inaccessible as it was the exit area after you’ve had your signing. So, I set it up on a bookshelf facing the signing table directly, and hoped I had it pointed in the right direction. I couldn’t tell because the bookshelf wasn’t deep enough for me to look behind the camera. It ended up working out pretty well. No audio of our conversation, obviously, because the camera was too far away. But the video of us conversing with Stevie is still pretty cool. We know what she said to us, and we’ll always cherish it.

Leaving the store we were all on Cloud 9 of course. When we walked outside it was dark and all of the beautiful Christmas lights The Grove had set up were all lit. It was magical and fitting for the experience we just had with Stevie. Another fun “Stevie Adventure” in the books!

I love your story Jamie. It probably take me a week to hammer that out on the keyboard if that ever happen to me.I'm glad that Kim got a chance to meet Stevie. It was well worth sitting out in 44 degrees temps for that day.

In the meantime.

I love to get out of Connecticut.I got to much luggage to haul out of here and to see Stevie/FM about 5 to 8 times on the same tour without traveling 400 plus miles to each show.

Other then that it sucks here especially in winter since I hate the cold.I rather have 80 plus temps all year round then freezing my marbles off which is happening now.

BTW I just bought a new electric blanket last night to keep me warm in bed.LOL..

The Grove's Barnes & Noble was awash with Stevie Nicks fans on Dec. 4 as the much-loved rocker appeared in-person to sign her latest project, In Your Dreams, a DVD documenting her latest album's creation.

Fans started lining up outside of the book store as early as 3 a.m. for a signing that took place much later. Watch short clips of some of Nicks' fans in the video below, including a blind dog who loves listening to Nicks' tunes, one of Nicks' youngest fans and a quite attractive fellow who we'll refer to as "Mr. Stevie Nicks" (you'll see why).

And fans, don't forget to catch Nicks on the very next episode of American Horror Story: Coven (Jan. 8), when she makes a cameo appearance!

You are both so lucky to have met Stevie , she's such a special person. I thought that the owl was a great idea for a gift. And when you husband took her hands, that was a very sweet moment

Also I love the Stevie quote in your signature, I remember hearing her say that, and thinking wow!

Oh wow! That video is really amazing. The little stuffed owl is soo cute & I love that Stevie got to meet that sweet pup in the rumours shirt. I'm pretty sure I'd be to nervous to speak to Stevie (although I've rehearsed what I would say to her a million times lol) but I think waiting in line & watching her for hours would be pretty awesome. I am so happy for all you guys and gals who got to meet her.
