Wow...what a surprise!! I was hoping that Stevie would be a mentor when Paula Abdul was a judge on the show a few years back (two 80s queens/chart toppers together on the same show is pretty cool), but as Louie said, it's great that this finally happened!

This major appearance in conjunction with the "Up All Night" guest starring role on NBC this week, we may see "In Your Dreams" back on the Top 200 chart. :)

It is time for the release of that documentary.

This stuff just makes me think about Mick and all the crap he said about Stevie. Without her exposure the last few years on these shows, Fleetwood Mac would of been forgotten about.

Perhaps Stevie and Jimmy's reconnection at that Grammy event last month sparked some of this.

The guest mentors don't always perform. At the very least, we will get short clips of Stevie imparting her musical wisdom in her own peculiar way.

If she does sing, I just hope it's not the usual Landslide, Rhiannon or Dreams...or Secret Love. I would like to hear a newer song, perhaps For What It's Worth or Moonlight.

I watch the show faithfuly, and it's very unlikely that Stevie will perform if she's a mentor.

For those of you that don't watch, each week there is a musical theme - when the contestants have picked their songs and start rehearsing them, they work with the mentor who advises them on pitch, harmony, when to carry out a note, and other little tips for the best way to sing the song.

Sometimes you don't even see the mentor on the live part of the show - just in recorded clips from rehearsals earlier in the week. If they are on the live part of the show, it's to sit in the audience and watch the contestants perform.

I don't know. I remember several instances where the mentor performed, but it's always the following night on the live results show. They have a whole hour to tell you who is eliminated, so to fill the time there are usually two performances. One is often a past contestant; the other could be the week's mentor or anyone with something to promote.

'American Idol': Stevie Nicks to Mentor Top 9

Enlisted by old pal and in-house mentor Jimmy Iovine, the iconic Fleetwood Mac singer will guide the season 11 finalists as they perform songs by their idols.

It looks like Jimmy Iovine is hard at work enlisting artist friends to take part in this year's American Idol. The latest to join as guest mentor: singer, songwriter and Fleetwood Mac frontwoman Stevie Nicks, who will guide season 11's remaining nine finalists on next week's episode. The theme: songs from the contestants' Idols.

Only a couple Idols tweeted that they got to spend time with iconic vocalist, including 16-year-old Jessica Sanchez, who expressed her excitement over having met the one and only Stevie. Others, like DeAndre Brackensick were a bit more coy about who was guiding them. "ive [sic] got to say that our mentor this week is amazing," he wrote.

Of course, Iovine and Nicks go way back -- the Interscope Geffen A&M chairman is not only a decades-long friend, but he (along with Tom Petty) produced her breakout solo album, 1981's Bella Donna, along with subsequent releases The Wild Heart (1983) and Rock a Little (1985). It's also fairly well-documented that the two dated for a stretch in the 1980s. More recently, Iovine praised Nicks and her place in his life when he was honored by the Recording Academy's Producers & Engineers Wing before last month's Grammy Awards.

Tune in to Fox on Wednesday to see how the Top 9 fare.

American Idol 11: Stevie Nicks to Mentor Top 9
By mj On 03/24/2012

Stevie Nicks is set to mentor the American Idol 11 Top 9 this week, according to a tweet from Nigel Lythgoe.

“Our mentor was great this week,” Nigel tweeted excitedly.

Stevie is a member of the legendary Fleetwood Mac and has also had a long solo career of her own. Of course, she is also part of the Interscope family. Jimmy Iovine not only produced some of her early solo albums, but dated Stevie for awhile in the 80′s. Hmmm….

Before Jessica Sanchez headed off to a party last night she tweeted, “Heading to a party with the other 8 contestants :) Also, met Stevie Nicks today!!!”

Joshua Ledet tweets like a Stevie Nicks fan, “Just had my mentor session (: super excited haha !”

This week’s theme is “Songs From Their Own Idols” and will include songs from Beyonce, Mariah, Miranda, Lifehouse, Daughtry and Led Zeppelin.

Scotty McCreery and Nicki Minaj will be the musical guests on Thursday’s results show.

'American Idol' 2012 Top 9 Spoilers and Speculation
March 24, 2012 07:01 PM EDT

American Idol 2012 continues March 28 as the top 9 perform songs from their personal musical idols under the tutelage of guest mentor Stevie Nicks. Show producer Nigel Lythgoe spilled a baggie of spoiler beans via his @dizzyfeet Twitter handle, so read on for the details.

Although the hopefuls are tight-lipped about their selections—and the identities of their personal muses—on March 22, @dizzyfeet tweeted, "next week they're singing their #IDOL's songs. Beyonce, Mariah, Miranda, Lifehouse, Daughtry, Led Zeppelin. Now that should be interesting?"

It's all speculation, but Miranda is almost certainly country superstar Miranda Lambert, who finalist Skylar Laine previously called a big influence in her singing life. If Skylar wants to show off her balladeering talents for the first time in earnest, she could tackle the recent hit, "The House that Built Me." Other strong possibilities include, among others, "Gunpowder and Lead" and "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend."

But what of the other contestants? Mariah Carey is likely the muse for one of the two divas in the top 9, Jessica Sanchez or Hollie Cavanagh. Colton Dixon recently enjoyed a meal with former Idol hopeful turned successful musician Chris Daughtry, so there's a viable link between the two of them. Led Zeppelin seems a likely match for the gritty Phillip Phillips. But what about Heejun Han, Elise Testone, Joshua Ledet, and DeAndre Brackensick?

Tune in to American Idol 2012 Wednesday evening to find out which hopeful matches up with which muse. And more importantly to see who has the chops to turn in a great performance, and who's in big trouble come elimination night.

I just heard the news! I'm a huge AI fan and I've been waiting YEARS for them to have Stevie on as the mentor so I couldn't be more thrilled! Actually I could -- I really wish the theme was Stevie's music, or Fleetwood Mac songs, but I'll settle! (And yeah, I know the lot of you would guffaw at the idea of a bunch of amateurs butchering Stevie's songs, but I still think it would make a hell of a theme and would help her/their music score some iTunes downloads ^_^)

Stevie Nicks to mentor 'American Idol' contestants this week
by Dan Snierson
http://insidetv.ew.com/2012/03/24/american-idol-stevie-nicks-mentor/

If anyone falls this coming week on American Idol, Stevie Nicks will be there to help. The Fleetwood Mac singer/songwriter and solo artist is mentoring the nine finalists of the hit Fox singing competition, according to AI executive producer Nigel Lythgoe, who yesterday tweeted a photo of himself with Nicks while confirming the news. As part of this week’s theme, contestants will select songs from their personal idols. The show’s mentor-in-residence (and Interscope Geffen A&M chairman) Jimmy Iovine has strong ties to Nicks, of course; they were once romantically linked, and he produced her first three solo albums in the 1980s.

The Idol appearance won’t be Nicks’ only prime time gig this season. She’ll also guest-star as herself on an episode of NBC comedy Up All Night.

I wonder how many times she will mention Lindsey while making a point to someone without even mentioning his last name? In her mind the whole world knows who she is talking about.

I'm sure the retrospective at the start will clarify who he is & how they "burst onto the music scene with the blockbuster Rumours album..." along with other cliche phrases.
No doubt we'll hear how she would have auditioned for Idol & how she can totally identify with the contestants' overnight fame because she went from supporting Lindsey to being rich in an instant. One day I was scrubbing toilets, months later I was worth a million dollars with Lindsey.

I hope they use good pics. My pet peeve is when they talk about the 1970s but show pics from much later (like in Behind the Music).

Considering the theme of the week, I'm wondering whom she will talk about as being her own idol. Joni, Janis, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, the Allman Bros, Buddy Holly, the Eagles, Tom Petty, her grandfather...
Guessing there will be a lot of talk about getting to work with your idols, getting to cover your idols, having to be distinct as a performer and true to your vision so you can be someone's idol in the future. Guessing the show might also mention that Stevie has mentored many younger performers over the years.

I haven't watched this show in many years & of course I'm flying to a conference the week she's all over TV. I don't have a DVR, & I worry that American Idol can be pretty vigilant about getting things yanked off Youtube. I'm hopeful I'll get to see this stuff eventually, though. Hoping there's at least something worth seeing & not just the same old same old talk.

Maybe now that they have whittled the contestants down to nine, there will be some extra time to fill in the two hours, but in general I don't think we'll hear a lot about Stevie. Ryan will say something at the beginning to introduce her as the mentor, but the clips we see of Stevie and Jimmy will be brief and probably edited to really focus on the contestants' performances. I hope I'm wrong. It would really be great to have Jimmy say something about the years he spent working with Stevie and what he thinks of her as an artist.

American Idol is down to its final nine and it wants some Stevie Nicks to help out its young hopefuls.

The Fleetwood Macker will mentor each contestant all week long. Each potential star will belt out a song from their personal idols and Stevie will whip them into shape along the way!

The plot thickens on AI this week … but can Stevie's special appearance get the show a boost in the ratings?

Exactly! I wish she would coach the Chargers!!

For those who missed this epic episode, maybe try Hulu.com? I've never tried it, but I think it's a website that shows previous TV shows.

Stevie was wonderful, and like countless others have mentioned, so caring. It was heartbreaking when she spoke of her Mom. I know exactly how she feels though. Sometimes it catches me off guard when I THINK I can talk about my Mom without tearing up, but usually at some point afterward I do, and I think that's what happened to Stevie. :( Bless her.

It was great to hear that Stevie was trending last night on various search engines and twitter! Get that damn documentary released already, Warner Bros!!

Can't wait until "Up All Night" tonight! The clip looks like it's gonna be hilarious!
Why can't Stevie be on the tele every night?? It makes me so much happier - is that too much to ask? ;)

I really enjoyed watching Stevie on Idol last night, though I don't normally watch the show. It made me remember (not that I ever forgot) why I love Stevie so much: she is the real deal, utterly genuine, warm, compassionate, honest, caring, funny...I could go on and on. I wasn't sure what to expect in her mentoring role but she was completely herself and I think that's why she got such a positive reaction from all the contestants. Everyone, including the judges, seemed to have tremendous respect and admiration for Stevie and that was just wonderful to see.

Sometimes I wonder if I just think/analyze too much. But I was watching Steven Tyler's facial expression any time they mentioned Stevie and I got the feeling that he doesn't adore her as much as everyone else did. I have nothing to back this up, other than my gut feeling, so take that for what it's worth.

I thought that it was a bit awkward when Stevie was talking about her mother's death, but when she began crying while watching the girl sing, it was heartbreaking. I don't know if it was the singing, the song, or just the mention of her mother that had her in tears. Poor Stevie. She would look over at Jimmy Iovine with such a pained expression from time to time.

I loved the banter between Stevie and Jimmy and I thought she was a wonderful mentor to the contestants. She was a class act, for sure.

I think what I liked so much about this, aside from seeing Stevie acting so real, so genuine, so friendly, was that I don't think I was expecting her to have such good advice for the kids.

I think of Stevie as sometimes being too nice, and I was afraid that she would hold back and sort of give some lightweight, rather empty/airy-fairy suggestions, "Oh, you know, I think you just did great. Keep it up."

But she had some real, thoughtful words of advice, unique to each individual contestant, and clearly knew what she was talking about.

I guess we've really never had a good look at Stevie "behind the scenes" in a creative sense, giving her input and feedback, and instead we (or I at least), have the image of her, in FM, shunned off to Sly Stone's studio while the real "musicians" do all the creative/technical stuff. It was refreshing being able to see Stevie bring forth her ideas, all which, I thought, made total sense.

Exactly! So awesome!

I think what a lot of people don't take into account is that Stevie was a very creative force within FM. She may not have played an instrument but she was very good at coordinating the vocals with the other band members and her sense of harmony is unparalleled. She can sing around anyone AND she was an intensely creative songwriter. She has lots of wisdom and advice to impart to those contestants. Go Stevie!

I remembered this from last season..

After Haley Reinhart took on Led Zeppelin with a personal choice of ‘What Is and What Should Never Be’ for her first performance tonight on ‘American Idol,’ ‘Idol’ mentor Jimmy Iovine gave her another classic-rock tune — Fleetwood Mac‘s ‘Rhiannon’ — for her second song.

I thought he looked high. :o  I kept watching JLo's body language, how she was leaning away from him towards Randy.

Hi all.Heres the video of the whole show for keepers that I promised I would post.

Sorry about the whopping file size of 1gig .I did not want to edit out anything which will ruin the flow of the show.DSL/Cable high speed ISP .No problem.

the file is Divx/xvid AVI format which will play in Windows Media player,VLC media player and Winamp.and probably some others with the right video/audio codecs installed.
let me know if it does not play good.

VLC media player seems to be the best.

Get a chuckle out of the title.

 Yeah, Jimmy was on the Lindsey is gorgeous bandwagon. But, Phillip looked like Lindsey in 1980, not '74.

Stevie said Mick would have put Phillip in the group too. Somehow, I don't think Lindsey would have been as eager to include Phillip in his "package" deal as Stevie would have been.

I would have liked to see Stevie's face when the artists were performing, so she could see how they incorporated her advice. I bet she was emotional watching them do it for the final performance.

a funny line from TVGuides' review:

"During rehearsal, Stevie Nicks tells her she needs to be more emotional, and goes off on a super depressing tangent about how her mom just died and she has no problems anymore. Hollie just kind of stood there, awkwardly. "

This is the first time I've watched AI this season as well. The performances were pretty underwhelming. Phillip & Elyse were by far the best, IMO. Skylar's pretty good. I think that Jessica girl will win; she can definitely sing, but nothing to tell her apart from any other "diva" voice out there. In general they are all pretty generic.

And that Mac/Stevie medley? Atrocious. Not the singing so much - the arrangement. Just awful.

I thought that, too. The transitioning was awkward and the song edits didn't flow smoothy at all - especially the the edited-down version of "Edge of Seventeen," with its noticeably abrupt jumps. Elise did her best with it anyway.

Haha, right!! Imagine how Tom, Gary and Bob feel.

I wondered that myself. I know Stevie was just trying to pay P2 a compliment, but she made it sound like she and Lindsey were not friends with anyone worthy to be in Fleetwood Mac at that time... and therefore, P2 is far more talented than any of their friends at the time. I watch AI all the time and I like Phillip, but c'mon.

Of course, the idea that Mick Fleetwood would be willing to take on anyone/everyone that Lindsey recommended is ridiculous in itself (although most people in the audience are not familiar with the fact that Lindsey insisted Stevie be in the band, and probably believe she would be the one instructing Mick on who his new band members should be).

Plus, Stevie should know that Lindsey would never put his career on the line by insisting a talented good friend be a member of the band or he wasn't joining! That privilege is reserved for a talented girlfriend.

I wonder if Lindsey and/or Mick watched, and if so, what they thought of it. I bet Mick did, at least.

I feel the same. Landslide was an obvious selection, but Edge of Steventeen was a poor choice, and Don't Stop was a ****ty choice. Stand Back and Stop Dragging My Heart Around would have suited them better.

Stevie was really wonderful on the show, but possesses such a serious demeanor; I wish she would smile a little more.

And for the record:

The song Without You is originally by Badfinger, written by band members Peter Ham and Tom Evans. It appeared on their 1970 album No Dice. Several years later Harry Nilssen covered it and made it a huge hit. When Randy referred to it as a Harry Nilssen song I wish he would have given credit to Badfinger. He surely knows better.

http://www.grantland.com/blog/hollywood-prospectus/post/_/id/46713/five-questions-on-american-idol-feeling-a-phantom-shift-in-the-top-9

Thoughts on guest coach Stevie Nicks?

Kang: It was a good and necessary change of pace. Mary J. will always be the most helpful and inspiring guest coach, but sometimes you have to mix it up and bring in some crazy. This, by the way, was the formula that catapulted Idol to such prominence — Simon’s stern helpfulness and Paula’s apparent drug/drinking problem. (By the way, can you imagine how much better the show would have been had they started out with Mary J. in the Randy role? I continue to be completely mystified by his continued presence on the show. I’ve never met a single person who says, “I really like Randy Jackson.” In fact, if you like Randy Jackson, please explain why in the comments section below.)

Stevie definitely brought the safe, post-menopausal crazy, and I’m glad that the Idol producers finally watched The Voice and realized that as long as you’re going to have great singers on as guests, you might as well have them sing a bit. My favorite part of last night’s show was when she grabbed a terrified Hollie Cavanagh by the shoulders and whispered, “I’ve got some Xboxes, an eight-ball, and some incense in a van in the parking lot. Do you want to prank call that bitch Debbie Harry with me?”

Lisanti: Stevie Nicks was incredibly entertaining. Not only did she sing along with the contestants, tell inappropriate stories about personal tragedies (RIP, Mama Nicks), and offer just about every contestant a spot in Fleetwood Mac, she eye-****ed Colton Dixon and Phil Squared to within an inch of their lives. (I wouldn't be surprised to discover her mansion in Laurel Canyon is fully stocked with skinny twentysomethings who wander around in nothing but tie-dyed T-shirts, waiting for her to flog them with a dream catcher. God knows she's earned it.) Things got a little uncomfortable when they showed that photo of how much Phillip looks like a young Lindsey Buckingham, or when they showed ANY images of Jimmy Iovine's hippie-libertine former self, who probably would've stubbed a joint out in his own eyeball if he knew (a) he'd actually live to see 2012, and (b) his 60-year-old self would dress exactly like Justin Bieber.

But she was great. Who knew we secretly wished the show would find a female version of Steven Tyler?

She barely got Lindsey to join - now she thinks she's so powerful she's gonna drag two temperamental guitarists into Fleetwood Mac with her and convince Mick to take on 3 new members?! Maybe she thinks Phillip would have helped distract Christine better from the impending drama... LOL

What a great appearance. She's adorable and heartfelt and actually gave good advice.
I have never seen Idol except for watching a few Adam Lambert clips ( I just had to see him fag the show up). I was impressed. I don't even think it is my Stevie fan coming through. She was present and had her facts right. I think she really helped them. It is cool seeing her work her legend status like this. It warms my grinchy heart. On Up All Night she kinda makes fun of herself and here she is the sage mother rocker who takes it all very seriously. Nicely done.

I am kicking myself a bit as I was working quite close to her during that taping last Friday. I didn't arrive at the studio till 4 but she was right there. I could have literally run into her in the hall. I ran into Betty White last year by utter accident in the basement LOL. But I had no idea she was taping that day. Oh well. I have met her numerous times and there is no need to get greedy. We seem to end up in the same place at the same time often. A good friend of mine is on Up All Night and I was able to give advice on her set and send research pictures. I was just too busy on my show to go to the Up All Night taping or look at the wall schedules at CBS and see she was shooting at Idol. Even though I was working on the same frigging lot that day! Life is busy.

Either way, this was a home run.

I could see that Stevie was in an incredible amount of pain over losing her mother. Not just when she mentioned her death, but when you look into her eyes one can see how very hurt and very lost she is at this point in her life. I have not seen" that look" in her eyes since she was married to Kim. It is heartbreaking.

She has put on quite a bit of weight in the last three months as well. It is understandable of course...but the weight gain showed on Idol. On "Up All Night" the lighting helped hide the weight gain.

Barbs death is aging her-- crying & hurting takes a lot out of a person.... Again, her age showed on Idol and was hidden on "Up all Night"-- I pray she pours herself into her writing and comes through this stronger...hopefully the tour will bring her out of this emotional spiral downward.

And yet again, it is obvious that assistant of hers is useless. I wish she would surround herself with people who really cared about her and took better care of her.

Are you trolling or what? Because an assistant isn't a babysitter, or a mental health professional...it's not her job to make Stevie happy every moment of every day, and she can't bring Stevie out of an "emotional spiral." Which, by the way, I would be more worried if Stevie wasn't sad right now. Her mom died two months ago, it's normal for her to feel like **** most of the time. Hell, it's been seven months since my dad died, and I'm still a wreck most of the time, and I still mostly feel the way Stevie does, that I don't have any problems because my only problem is that my dad is gone...it hit me hard when she said that, because I completely understand.

She's going through some **** right now, and she's going to continue to go through some **** for a while, and "people who really cared about her" will give her the space and support she needs to go through it, not try to numb her so she never feels any pain. (That's how you get addicted to Klonopin, kids.)

But, you know, I can tell you really care about her on a deep level from the way you pointed out how she's gained weight and looks a little older. That's what someone who really cares about her feelings would do.

Completely agree.

Stevie is actually doing remarkable considering her recent loss. Like she said in that letter, her Mom would want her to "go on" with her career and that's what she's doing.
Stevie will definitely have her good days and bad days, but she will get through it. The woman is strong as an ox!

Grantland talks about Idol. Here's the SN excerpt.
http://www.grantland.com/blog/hollywood-prospectus/post/_/id/46713/five-questions-on-american-idol-feeling-a-phantom-shift-in-the-top-9

This is pretty awesome.

What a great appearance. She's adorable and heartfelt and actually gave good advice.... On Up All Night she kinda makes fun of herself and here she is the sage mother rocker who takes it all very seriously. Nicely done.

Either way, this was a home run.

Agreed!

I'm quite curious what you mean by this. Please elaborate.

Ha. Good luck.

There is nothing wrong with stating the obvious. Especially when Stevie herself has commented in the past that she never wants to get as heavy as she was at the Clinton Inauguration. She is going through a very hard time right now and it is heartbreaking to see her so sad and obviously eating for comfort.

Jesus, sorry, but I don't think she is that fat. She is actually skinny for her age. It's really hard to lose weight at that age. She has done a good job. After 50, if you still have a waistline, you are winning the war.

I thought she looked pretty good on AI. My wife DVR-ed the episode so I could watch it. I'm usually more shocked at how bad her hair looks than anything.

I caught that clip of her with Maya Rudolph and Christina Applegate... so uh... WHY doesnt she do that more often with her hair? She looked great.

Oh, and I thought the best part of her being on AI was when she sang Dreams with that blonde Zeppelin gal.

I think her hair on Up All Night made her look a lot younger too. But, realistically it takes a long time to fix your hair like that and if she was up all night listening to those AI songs it explains why she would look tired. She probably didn't have time to get too fixed up.

So is there a chance they'll have her back? How does this show generally operate?

Sometimes they bring mentors back to perform at the grand finale episode! Who knows, maybe her documentary will be out by then and she will swing by Idol to perform her new single!

A few other random observations:

Stevie Nicks brought a suitable gravitas to the role of guest mentor, although I’m not sure why she started whispering to some of the contestants while sharing her advice. Stevie, you’re miked, we can still hear you.

I'd be down for that! Randy must have something on somebody. Paula was the name everyone knew and Simon was the dick that everyone loved, yet they are both gone. Randy wasn't well known before Idol and was never a fan favorite on Idol, yet he remains... Strange indeed. I would love for Stevie to replace him! However, I have mixed feelings as to what it would do to her artistically. Part of me thinks it'd pay her without the need for tours or new music, so she would do neither. The other part of me thinks she'd be so immersed in music, new artists, new styles, and tons of kids with dreams, it might just spark some inspiration in Mama! But I doubt she'd ever actually agree to be on live TV every week.

– Stevie Nicks fawning over him: “When she said I should have been in Fleetwood Mac, I didn’t think she was talking to me. It wasn’t real. Shoot. She must be joking! I feel blessed. She is such a sweet woman. She’s been the best mentor we’ve had so far in my opinion.

Stefani and Kanal will have a lot to live up to after the Top 9 contestants universally raved about mentor Stevie Nicks.

"Stevie Nicks was the one person who actually changed our perspective towards the mentor," booted contestant Heejun Han tells Zap2it. "A couple of past weeks we had a mentor who wasn't prepared, who pretty much just wanted to have their own [moment in the spotlight], but Stevie Nicks was really well-prepared and I think she's the best mentor we've had so far."

http://www.hyphenmagazine.com/blog/archive/2012/04/hyphen-tv-knock-knock

The big news of the week is, of course, Heejun's departure from American Idol. It seemed like he just might catch a second wind when he eschewed last week's theatrics for some straightforward singing (imagine that): "I realized I was letting so many people down," he told Ryan. The guy's so gosh-darn sincere, isn't he? I'm actually not being sarcastic. He sang "A Song for You," impressing guest mentor Stevie Nicks with his "beautiful, effortless" vocals and leading her to make what seems to be a spot-on observation: "In his heart he doesn't want to be hurt, so he acts like he doesn't care." Ohhh yes, Stevie. That's what I'm seeing too.

Awww. Heejun is just like Lindsey.

But in order for him to have been in Fleetwood Mac, he would have had to take and pass the class Sheryl Crow offered, on how NOT to join Fleetwood Mac....

Hi all.Heres the video of the whole show for keepers that I promised I would post.
http://www.adrive.com/public/GJBHuP.html

I just finished watching this because I rarely watch all of anything in one sitting and I want to thank you Skip, big time, for recording this for all of us. Your editing job was superb! I'm not a fan of any of these singers. None of them have voices I would be dying to hear. I watched the whole show only because the Queen of rock-n-roll was there. My favorite parts of the show were when Stevie sang with any contestant and as some of you have mentioned it was great seeing Stevie and Jimmy together again.

Yes, I have and I personally don't like Karen or her sister Kelly. In my opinion, they are dark and when they are in Stevie's presence they cast a shadow across Stevie's light. They are the polar opposite of Robin...who encouraged her to shine so bright. Again, it is just my opinion... for what it's worth.
