The show is still on their calendar, but now it says "sale stopped." Maybe yesterday was a fluke while they were testing their system. I know venues here do that all the time and you can buy tickets during that window before they make an official announcement. I heard about the LB show yesterday from a friend who lives in Dallas that emailed me.

Depends on where those seats are. Only seats I found today during the presale was in the second row but they were too far off-sides for me; seats 17-14. I also passed on seat 20 in the third row. Waiting for tomorrow's presale. Looking for an inside aisle seat if I can't get front row. I noticed AMEX has the entire 4th row blocked off-whoa!

Scalpers stole my third row center seat-I kid you not.

When the presale began I was offered a seat in the third row of the center section using the interactive map. I did not hesitate and made it through to the security screen-recapta in warp-speed-time. I entered the code and it accepted it. Yeah! Or so I thought. After processing the security code it said the ticket selection was "no longer available." What! Never had that happen before.

At the time there were four seats in the third row and four seats in the fourth row. When I retried there were all gone. So I started checking the secondary ticket market web-sites and ebay. Well guess what showed up on the secondary market within three hours-all 8 of those tickets.

The good news is they didn't get the first two rows center row sections and hopefully they will be up for grabs tomorrow or during the general sale.

Sorry to hear that Ashley :( I've gone back and forth deciding if I was going or not but I realized I just can't pass this up! Sorry if I scared you. You do have good seats-especially for a generic pre-sale. You see, I'm spoiled. If I can't get to the stage I don't bother. That's were all the fun is and that is why I passed on the seats I was offered today. If I can't get front row then with an inside aisle seat I can get to the stage more easily.

Lindsey Buckingham Announces Solo Album, Tour

Not long ago, Stevie Nicks released her first solo album in many years and hit the road for a tour. Now her Fleetwood Mac bandmate Lindsey Buckingham is doing the same.

Buckingham's album, Seeds We Sow, will be out August 6th, and it's his first since 2008's Gift of Screws. Buckingham says in a statement, “This might be the best work I've ever done. I think it's an excellent representation of what I do...It’s on my own terms."

Buckingham will also hit the road for a tour starting September 9th in Reno, Nevada and wrapping up October 25th in Napa, California. Tickets go on sale starting June 16th.

Speaking on Seeds We Sow, Buckingham says, “This might be the best work I’ve ever done. I think it’s an excellent representation of what I do. It shows a certain maturity and musicianship and I just feel like I have a lot of tools in my musical vocabulary from which to draw that are again the product of the choices I’ve made. It’s on my own terms. This is very much from the inside out and I hope I never stop doing that.”

From the album’s first single “In Our Own Time,” to the soft melodic pop/rock tinge of “End of Time” and the album’s most rocking track, “One Take,” to the touching “When She Comes Down” and the almost lullaby-esque hushed tones of the gorgeous closing number, “She Smiles Sweetly,” the album showcases Buckingham’s full arsenal of skills. I totally agree.

The last time he played The Grove in September 2008 scalpers got the majority of front row seats during the Grove's AllAccess pre-sale because most of us did not get the pre-sale password until two hours after the pre-sale started. I complained to the venue but they blew me off. I ended up going through a scalper to get a front row seat and it wasn't that expensive but it's just not right. I still have no idea how they could sell my seat after I had selected it and did not mess up the security code. I thought maybe they made a mistake and pulled the seats but when they turned up on all the secondary market web-sites I knew something smelled bad just like the pre-sale at the Grove in 2008.

Wish they would have done Will-Call too. Oh, well there is another pre-sale tomorrow through LiveNation but if memory serves me correctly, tomorrow's pre-sale will just offer the seats that weren't sold today. Royce Hall was hard to get a good seat at last time and I may just skip it altogether in favor of Palm Desert. I live half-way between both venues.

The password was "Seeds" and it was not the Grove's official AllAccess Pre-sale anyway so don't stress. Seats were decent but no front row and no center aisle seats in Tier 1 even for AMEX Preferred Seats. AMEX preferred (Gold/Plat) were in the fourth row and there were tons of them. If they don't sell then they will have to dump them sooner or later.

I'm confused though as to why you were "not entitled to Anaheim password." The pre-sale had a generic code which was published on this board under numerous threads. Were you perhaps trying to get tomorrow's (June 16, 2011) Grove All Access pre-sale password instead? Well the good news is we finally got that one today and it is "Sow" which will be all over the net so I don't mind sharing it with fellow Ledgies!

Check out Septa--you can take the Regional Rail right from the airport to Center City, then transfer to a Glenside train.

Or, depending on which hotel you're staying in, some of them have shuttles which might save you a step. They wouldn't take you to Glenside, but they'd probably take you to Center City.

Well, I actually don't live there. I just went the last time Lindsey performed there. I usually stay in Center City and I do Priceline bidding. I got a very nice hotel last time for like $55 (but, most hotels in Center City are just fine. You just have to figure out the transportation and map everything). Not sure about the cabs. I would think it would be fairly pricey...since their rates are comparable to NYC rates.

Glenside is a quiet, lovely neighborhood. Really nice. I felt perfectly safe there (and I'm paranoid by nature!)

I've been to the venue. It's in a very safe area, fairly close to Arcadia University (450 S. Easton Road, Glenside). No hotels in Glenside, but in nearby town, Fort Washington, there is a Holiday Inn. There's also a Day's Inn in another fairly close local town (Horsham).

The Keswick Theatre is right off the main drag in Glenside, Easton Road, at Keswick Avenue, about 1 1/2 miles from Arcadia University. The venue does not have it's own parking lot/garage, but there is a lot of street parking around, and a supermarket lot behind the venue.

I just looked at the venue and they list these hotels:

Finally after using two phones and two browsers I got my inside center aisle seat for the Grove-row E thirty minutes into the pre-sale today. Let me tell you I was bound and determined to get that seat no matter which row. A center aisle seat gives you instant access to the stage without anyone squawking about you standing in front of their seat. Hooray! Internet seats BTW sucked.:]

I wish I could. But it'll be impossible this time. And I think one should never try a to relive onceinalifetime dreamtrip. Apart from the VIP-pass EVERYTHING went beyond imagination those 8 days. It was incredible with all the people I met, and with the shows and the Three Lindsey-Meeting Moments. I still get chills when I think back on that. Impossible to top.

Glenside is a small, sweet, quiet, lovely town. Seems to be German-tudor-ish. And kind of college-ish. The one sports bar across from the Keswick appears to be the only game in town. The theater is an old one, and the seats are the worst your butt will ever feel after a while. Bring a cushion! But you will see Lindsey so close there, since it is quite small. He hung out in the alley after the show for a while too. I didn't try to meet him there, but i heard others were able to pretty easy. I had my husband with me, and his wife was there, so what's the point! ;) LOL! It's a really tedious place to get to driving, and I don't relish the bad neighborhoods you go through first, so I wonder if the train would be the best way. I wish he was playing Center City instead. I might try Morristown, NJ this time.

I would go to Google and look up a cab company. Ask their rates for both Center City and the Glenside railroad station. This way, you'll know. Tell them you're going to a concert and will need transportation afterwards.

So, all you Ledgies who have been lucky enough to see Lindsey solo in the past, what would you say the general thing to do is regarding getting down to that stage?

Is it trying to get there before the show starts, or a mad dash the moment he takes to the stage, or do the audience sit in their seats for a while until it gets going?

Just wondering..... don't want to make a fool of myself by heading for that stage like a bat out of hell while everyone else is staying put! :o

That said, I was escorted out of 1 Lindsey show (Chicago during the UTS tour) for taking my camera out during GYOW (end of the show!!) and taking a few pics and video. 2 guys took me out to the lobby and scolded me like a 5 year old ( :rolleyes: ) and I told them I would put it away, could I just please finish the freakin' show. They let me go back in and I caught the last couple of songs. The security at the Park West were jerks overall though.

I didn't know Clearwater went on sale today. :( Now, the website is stuck and I can't get anything. Hope I can get back on the stupid site. I had pulled Rows D and E, seat 1, but meh...I was hoping for a more center seat.

If I were going alone to Houston, I'd be in the third row. If Dallas, then I'd have front row. But my boyfriend has never seen Lindsey and I gave him until 10 AM this morning to decide. We both preferred Houston since it's on a Sunday. I should have bought the Row F seats in the presale, today I didn't pull up anything better than Row J. Row K in the front center section is still there, so it's obviously not selling very quickly, despite the 5-minute wait times I kept getting between 10 and 10:15 AM. I'll probably keep trying for better, just cuz I'm a freak like that. If I succeed in the next 72 hours, I'll return the Row J tix.

Scalpers stole my third row center seat-I kid you not.

When the presale began I was offered a seat in the third row of the center section using the interactive map. I did not hesitate and made it through to the security screen-recapta in warp-speed-time. I entered the code and it accepted it. Yeah! Or so I thought. After processing the security code it said the ticket selection was "no longer available." What! Never had that happen before.

At the time there were four seats in the third row and four seats in the fourth row. When I retried there were all gone. So I started checking the secondary ticket market web-sites and ebay. Well guess what showed up on the secondary market within three hours-all 8 of those tickets.

The good news is they didn't get the first two rows center row sections and hopefully they will be up for grabs tomorrow or during the general sale.

Scalpers use multiple high speed computers and even pay people to stand in line at box offices. The average fan has only past experience, other fans help (e.g. sharing passwords), and Lady-Luck to even the playing field. This time Lady Luck shone on me. "Some days are diamonds some days are dust or dirt or what ever" JonBon wrote for Stevie back in the day.

And, like you said in the end it all worked out. Now one last show-McCallum and I can rest and enjoy the rest of my ten week summer vacation.

1-From Center City Philadelphia use SEPTA R2 or R5 commuter line to the Glenside Train Station (approximately 20 minutes).

2-From the Broad & Olney subway station, use the Rt. 22 SEPTA bus, which stops at the corner of Easton Rd. & Keswick Ave.

Last time out scalpers got all the primo seats here in L.A. at Royce Hall and the Grove and this time-nada. One reason is the Grove sent the pre-sale password out on time (last time it was sent out two hours after the pre-sale started) and Royce Hall did not put all their good seats up for grabs during the pre-sales.

In any event, I was soo happy to see that scalpers have nothing in the front row at Royce Hall and only two seats in the second row. Prior to the general sale, they were advertising tickets in rows AA-ZZ by the fist full. Obviously they were expecting to clean up like last time but as luck would have it they didn't. Yeah! The Grove only has two tickets instead of 14 in the front row. Uber-Duber-Doo!:blob2:

Hope the rest of the sales across the country are tipped in favor of the fans too.

Doesn't look as if the Turlock Community Theater uses TM. Call their Box Office at (209) 668-1169. Looks like the last show for the 2010-2011 season was Joan Rivers in May. Seems as if their season runs from Sept to May. Jackson Browne is also playing the venue on Nov. 11th and that show isn't listed on their web-site either. Jackson's web-site says tickets for that show go on sale July 15th. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

I passed up second row seats at the Grove of Anaheim during both pre-sales for a 5th row center aisle seat. Generally with a center aisle seat no matter what concert you go to no one, including the ushers, gives you any grief if you stand at the stage in the aisle area between sections. Just did it at the Greek Theater here in L.A. for Rick Springfield/REO Speedwagon. Just make sure you stay in the aisle area.

Have fun in P-Burg. I grew up thirty miles southwest of there and used to see all the bands at the old Civic Arena-including the Stones back in 1965! Ouch. Showing my age.
