Christine, I'll just say this. I saw Fleetwood Mac at the LA Forum in August, 1977! ;) Of course, I was just a baby!!!

When you're 15, 16, 17 or so you may think it's cool to look older. That lasts until you're about 24 when you wish you looked younger. Stevie Nicks during the early FM days looked like a teen, even though she was close to 30

It is kindof cool to look older, I agree. I get random college guys hitting on me, which is interesting, but then guys my own age want nothing to do with me, so its a 'fair' trade off i guess :rolleyes:. Sometimes it would be better to look your own age.

This one needs some explaining. After having an amazing time at the frat, I decided to come back alone because there were way too many people in there. So I went back to the rooms alone. I thought my clothes were soaking wet for some reason. So I stripped down naked and ran around the room a while. Then when I picked up my shirt again, I realized it was completely dry. I dont think I need to tell very many people here that being a gay man, there is alot of pressure to be, 1.Thin, and 2.have a great appearance. Frankly I am neither of those. I've been the target of numerous jabs when I go down to the bar about being out of shape and not looking as good as I could, and while yes I will admit I am a fashion disaster and need direction in that area, as far as the weight thing goes, I really am comfortable with who I am. I certainly could shed some weight, no doubt about that, but I am NOT going to stop living my life and stay home like a hermit just because I dont fit any particular persons image of what I as a gay guy should look like. The bottom line here is, I think people will appreciate you as a person much more if you let them see the real you and if they dont like that, well, F**K em move on.:)

And contrary to popular opinion, there is a terrible real estate bubble in the city that is continuing to get bigger and bigger, despite what is happening everywhere else around the country. Just park your shekels in Euros and rent until it all blows over. Right now renting a standard 1 bedroom apartment for $3500/month is a bargain compared to shelling out over a million to buy a poorly built glass condo. Plus you have another $1000/month to pay in condo fees and taxes... :eek:
