Anyone care to play the "I Hate To Say This, But" game? I can start. You have to be honest but brave & just speak your mind.
I hate to say this, but:
. . . I think it would be fun to see Lindsey Buckingham & Stevie Nicks get beat up.

I hate to say this, but I want to let my roomies cat out into the street and pretend I don't know where he is. :sorry: I wouldn't really do this...but I want to.
I hate to say this as well, but my boyfriend's ADHD is about to drive me fricken insane. He's lucky I'm patient, and totally in love with him. :p
I hate to say this too - but I will - Amber is clearly the most entertaining member of this board.
I hate to say this, but the other engineer I work with is a control freak who hogs all the work to herself. Thus, I have time to do stuff like this when I'm getting paid very well to do something else.
Lastly, I hate to say this, but I agree with the person who said that Lindsey Buckingham's solo work sucks. Because it does.
Wow, that was fun. And therapeutic. Thanks. :D

child yes! I didn't think it could be. I mean, I'm just 26 so I don't really have wrinkles, but just laugh lines and seriously after 2 weeks of use they were really hardly noticeable.
you can order La Mer on sephora.com I think...but it's on eBay too. I use the eye cream and the all over night cream. I get it from a local high-end store in town.

I found it at a popular New Zealand online store www.mantrap.co.nz (http://www.mantrap.co.nz/index.php?main_page=index&manufacturers_id=216&sort=20a&page=1) and I almost **** a brick. The eye balm is $235
I like the look of the SPF 18 fluid though, and although it is quite expensive at $135, I use a similar product Dermalogica which happens to be $75, so I guess if La Mer turns out to be better, then I wont mind paying the extra $50 or so dollars...

yeah...it's not cheap, but it goes far. you don't have to use much. you're supposed to rub it between your fingers to warm it up and it becomes much more fluid.

I can't believe that you don't have a couple of tomato plants! Even when I still lived in town, I planted a couple of plants, in pots on my patio. THAT's how I got the gardening bug! I still keep a couple of plants in pots, and keep them just outside my garage door. So when we start getting fall frosts, I pull them inside the garage for the night, thus having fresh tomatoes about a month longer than anyone else! I luvs my maters!

was better here in Oklahoma, but with the 33rd day of over 100 degrees this summer (The 5th hottest summer on record) the top soil is scorched, so a garden this year would've been a waste (Last garden I grew consisted of okra, green hot peppers, bell peppers & tomatoes).

Everyone here with a garden, is having the biggest tomato yield ever.
Ya know, my grandpa always told me to plant tomoatos on Mother's Day. I think I'll give it a try next year. I also had a friend tell me since I don't have space for a garden to get a couple bags of top soil, set them somewhere I can stand for the grass to die, and just cut them open like a big X, plant a tomato plant, peppers... anything. They will grow right out of the bag. Then, when it's time to take the plants out, I can just dump the soil out on the ground where the bags were. I could do this for a couple of years and have a small fertile place in my yard. HMMMM????

if you were born after 1980 the world has been livable for you:
IF you are 30 or older you will think this is hilarious!!!!
When I was a kid, adults used to bore me to tears with their tedious diatribes about how hard things were when they were growing up; what with walking twenty-five miles to school every morning ... uphill BOTH ways .. yadda, yadda, yadda
And I remember promising myself that when I grew up, there was no way in hell I was going to lay a bunch of crap like that on kids about how hard I had it and how easy they've got it!
But now that... I'm over the ripe old age of thirty, I can't help but look around and notice the youth of today. You've got it so easy!
I mean, compared to my childhood, you live in afreaking Utopia!
And I hate to say it but you kids today you don't know how good you've got it!
I mean, when I was a kid we didn't have The Internet.
If we wanted to know something, we had to go to the damn library and look it up ourselves, in the card catalog!!
There was no email! We had to actually write somebody a letter ... with a pen! Then you had to walk all the way across the street and put it in the mailbox and it would take like a week to get there!
There were no MP3's or Napsters! You wanted to steal music, you had to hitchhike to the damn record store and shoplift it yourself! Or you had to wait around all day to tape it off the radio and the DJ'd usually talk over the beginning and f**k it all up!
And talk of about hardship? You couldn't just download porn! You had to steal it from your brother or bribe some homeless dude to buy you a copy of "Hustler" at the 7-11! Those were your options!
We didn't have fancy crap like Call Waiting! If you were on the phone and somebody else called they got a busy signal, that's it!
And we didn't have fancy Caller ID Boxes either! When the phone rang, you had no idea who it was! It could be your school, your mom, your boss, your bookie, your drug dealer, a collections agent, you just didn't know!!! You had to pick it up and take your chances,
mister!
We didn't have any fancy Sony Playstation video games with
high-resolution 3-D graphics! ! ;We had the Atari 2600! With games like "Space Invaders" and "asteroids" and the graphics sucked ass! Your guy was a little square! You actually had to use your imagination! And there were no multiple levels or screens, it was just one screen forever! And you could never win. The game just kept getting harder and harder and faster and faster until you died! ... Just like LIFE!
When you went to the movie theater there no such thing as stadium seating! All the seats were the same height! If a tall guy or some old broad with a hat sat in front of you and you couldn't see, you were just screwed!
Sure, we had cable television, but back then that was only like 15
channels and there was no onscreen menu and no remote control!
You had to use a little book called a TV Guide to find out what was on! You were screwed when it came to channel surfing! You had to get off yourass and walk over to the TV to change the channel and there was no Cartoon Network either! You could only get cartoons on Saturday Morning. Do you hear what I'm saying!?! We had to wait ALL WEEK for cartoons, you spoiled little rat-bastards!
And we didn't have microwaves, if we wanted to heat something up . we had to use the stove or go build a frigging fire ...
imagine that! If we wanted popcorn, we had to use that stupid JiffyPop thing and shake it over the stove forever like an idiot.
That's exactly what I'm talking about! You kids today have got it too easy. You're spoiled. You guys wouldn't have lasted five minutes back in 1980!
Regards,
-The 30 Something crowd!

I hate to say it but generally it seems that I don't like people.
I hate to say it but people who THINK they're funny and/or smart but are really just irritating and well basically stupid - need to just stop.
I hate to say it but people who leave diapers in parking lots are just trash.
I hate to say it but if you're a smoker - and you throw your butts out the car window - instead of putting them in your own damn ashtray and throwing them away later - are jerks. JERKS!
I hate to say it but I'm becoming a real bitch as I get older :o

 For those of us born BEFORE 1965...
OK How about those of us born before 1958?? I am older than dirt-
Not only did we have to walk to school, walk to the library, walk to work (when I was 16..), walk to your friend's house, walk to get your bike, horse, whatever...lots of walking in those days
Brian is right about the TV's...I even remberber the UHF channels (or whatever they were called.) Regular TV had 12 channels and then the UHF had I don't know how many? But you had to switch the TV over to the Rabbit Ears on top to get the UHF- around here one station we got was 38 out of Boston. I remember the test pattern on TV after midnight! and I remember watching "Dialing for Dollars" -the show Janis Joplin mentions in "Mercedes Benz".... And lastly it was a very big deal when we got a COLOR console :)
No calculators in class-No portable/off the wall phones at all, closest thing was the walkie talkie's the Cops used. No touch tone, everything was dial...
Gas was cheap, butts were cheap, girls were not! People were kinder and more accepting of all types of different people..as long as they were white and from New Hampshire, (damn yankees)--but that was Iall I ever met for new people- small small town.
And last but not least...when you were a little kid- Man that was the life!!
We used to go outside to play every day! Who cared if it was raining/snowing? Not us, Summers were were always out and school year too, School schedule:
Get up- put on school clothes-go to school- come home (after walking up hill...) put on play clothes- Now it's 3:30 and you are yelling, as you run out the back door, "MOM, call me for supper!". (Mom's were home, they didn't work back then...and they always dressed up, Not Ozzie and Harriet dressed up, but they never wore sweats and sneaks)..But I digress...And out we would go, in the neighborhood , or fields, to play with all your friends, even the weird ones cuz hey they lived near you and you were all kids.
We played kick ball, hop scooth, jump rope, kick the can, baseball, whiffleball, war, red light, simon says, and all sorts of "made-up" games.
Then around 5;00 -5:30 MOM'S would l be yelling SUPPER!!!!!, and everyone would scatter to go home to eat...and then beg to go back outside until it got dark!!!
It was innocent and it was fun and it was a different era, but honestly a great way to grow up, (IMO)
I feel badly for children today that get up, throw on jeans and a tee- shirt- Go to the bus stop (at the end of their driveway), go to school, get out of school and ride the bus to a day care center until their Mom or Dad can pick them up. Go home have a microwaved dinner (We didn't have those either), or a fast-food dinner (again Mc Donald's opened in my town when I was around 15!, so didn't have one of those...We did have a A&W Rootbeer place...anyone remember those?) and after dinner, play games online or watch TV, until they go to bed... That really can't be fun....and they don't even know who lives down the road because they are not allowed to leave the yard...too many whacko's out there. It's really sad.
Go out and play kick the can, get some sun, breathe some fresh air and LAUGH, giggle, smile., be a child-It goes by way,way too fast  C'mon everyone, let's go play.
Now- that...was a rant :D

I hate to say this, but I love her even more after seeing that. :p
info from an interview over on metalsludge.tv about Kelly Clarkson's onstage antics with Metal Skool (This interview is from Metal Skool's own Michael Starr):
"OK so our green room guy Skip comes down before every show and tells us who is here at the show tonight so we can call them up to jam or just f**k around with them (he also has the best Blow). Some artist or actors let us know up front that they are coming and do not want to be called out. This is totally cool and understandable.
This was the third time Kelly has seen the band. But this time she didn't advance her visit and when Skip told us she was here again and where she was sitting I was like OK here we go she wants to be f**ked with.
Turns out she was having a great time enjoying the show and partying. She was drunk but she knew what was up. She got on stage and sang great cause she is GREAT. Im proud of her. She rocks and I have always been a fan of her voice cause she can f**kin sing!
Now the news is trying to make it out to be more than it is. Big f**king deal she got up and sang a song. She F**kin rocks so much she added herself as friend on our myspace web page. NOW THAT F**KING ROCKS!
I can't believe how many news people have called our management about this. Access Hollywood came to my house yesterday for an interview about what happen. They were looking for dirt but there is none. She didn't make slanderous remarks about Jews or Mexicans.
She just made fun of Brittany Spears. That's cool with me.
So that is it.
Oh yea she chugged whiskey from the bottle. Wow that's big news.. lol
Lindsay Lohan did blow and did shots at our show at the Roxy. But no body cares about her cause she has no talent!
Kelly does!
We love Metal Sludge and all it stands for!!!!!!!!

surgical staples put into the top of my right hand to close a huge gash that happened today. The nurse in the ER wasnt expecting the wound to be as deep as it was (I could see my knuckle bones and lower skin layers).
Thankfully this occurred while Deb was still home, because I lost alot of blood from the wound.

for the story of the ER visit/gaping gash episode:
This afternoon about 1PM, I decided to take out the trash in the kitchen, so I did my usual and pressed down the trash into the sack so I could remove the trash-sack from the can. So when I finished pressing the trash down I pulled my right hand back to see what appearred to be 'tomato paste' on my hand (But we havent eaten anything with 'tomato paste'), but once it started to drip I knew it wasnt 'tomato paste' but blood. I somehow sliced my hand open down to the bone without feeling any pain (A "bad' by-product of the arachnoid cyst in my brain)
So, I headed into the bathroom to wash it off the blood, thinking it wasnt going to look that bad. The slice on my hand was about 2" long and 1/4" wide, so wide infact that I could clearly see the layers of fat/tissue below my skin and the knuckles of my index and middle fingers.
So off to the ER we went to have the gash closed on my right hand.
Once in the ER room (Once again I was in the ol' familiar room #9) I had my vitals taken, and was asked to remove the bandage (Which was fine by me, I wanted to remove it instead of having a nurse pull it to make it bleed even more). Next, my wound was washed under cold water with a saline mix by an African American nurse who wasnt prepared to see my wound, She said "Damn, that is very deep". of course, the blood was pouring so much that it started to make me dizzy.
The trauma room RN came in, evaluated my hand, then had me place my hand in a iodine wash for 10 minutes until the doctor arrived to do his evaluation. The nurse came back to test me for another numbing solution since I am allergic to lidocaine.
After he pricked me to test to see if I would have an allergy to the numbing agent (Cant remember the name at this moment), to which I had no reaction, He took a syringe of the numbing agent and pricked around the wound 5 times and once inside the wound to deaden the feeling so the wound could be closed (That lone prick was the only pain I felt related to this injury, thanks again to the bad by-product of the arachnoid cyst.)
Dr.Storms (Ya gotta love how I can tie all of this to Fleetwood Mac by the Dr's name  ) proceeded to check the wound to see if I sliced the tendon in half, which I didnt, so he suggested closing the wound with surgical staples since they are more flexable since the wound was in the fleshy area between my knuckles (Stitches would not be as flexable).
The doctor ended up putting 6 staples in to close the gaping wound, and I also received a tetanus shot to boot (Didnt even feel the tetanus shot - UNTIL on the trip home in which Deb drove. I wasnt taking any chances that I would pass out from a negative reaction to the tetanus shot.)

I still dont feel no pain in it (Which is why I am typing BADLY as usual  ) but I cut into a blood vessel, thus all the blood so that needed to be treated.
I have a scar on my left leg from a similar 'clean cut' injury, and all I did for that was wash it in peroxide and wrap it up. Left a nice 12" scar that some assume is from a surgery, when it was from cutting myself jumping a fence playing with my older brother.

A little. Silver Springs and SDMHA and Dreams only, last time I checked. But I'm just going to play pool (if I go, depends on my friend) and my friend can sing. Because, mainly, of the time when I was really drunk and accidentally manked the karaoke girls' cigarrette, and she got really mad and puffed all up like she wanted to start a fight, despite the fact that we had always been friendly before, I apologized profusely, she still had bunches of cigs left, and it was like, 1:45 am.

ooooh. You're doing good! Where are you chatting? Don't worry, I won't come, I was just curious. I hate when I'm talking to people on the phone and stuff, and they're doing other things. I wish you hadn't told me. Now I feel redundant. Because I'm the kind of asshole who likes undivided attention.
JK, chat away! I've done that many a time. Not that I'm the boss of you, doling out my approval or anything. Just saying, you know.
Jennifer Beals is kind of hot. I actually have the feeling she is hotter in real life than as an actress.

I'm confused. Are you just hooked on the storyline, or do you suddenly like random hot chicks?
What a feeling, indeed.
I somehow feel compelled to say that JB is a Sagittarius. Don't worry, I do that in real life, too, name the signs of famous people that my friends talk about. Not saying you have to care, just passing on information. It's almost a form of Turrets...
Oh, and when did "dirty whore" become synonymous with "doesn't have a girlfriend or get laid"? Just curious. Because I could be a dirty whore, too....

into this one 'hot chick' (She looked like a young Delta Burke - Damn she was hot!!!) that I was in a relationship with (Off-and-on) from 1988-1991, Sad to say she now has a long-list criminal record!
ps-I hate to admit it....But NOW my hand is finally starting to effin' hurt!

I hate to say this, but that doctor sounds like a jackass.

I already knew that. Why you ask, good question. Back in Dec.2003 when Deb first started her chemo treatments for Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
She developed what we thought was a reaction to the first treatment by running a fever (Low grade fever is a regular side affect) but when her temp ran to 105 I drove her to the ER. The Dr. we seen in the ER, was of course, Dr.Storms.
He did NOT check her via UA or a simple blood test to determine the cause of the high temp. He told Deb to call her oncologist on Monday (This was the Saturday after Christmas) and to not worry about it. Go home and treat the temp the same you you would treat a temp for a person with the flu.
We went home and hours later Deb started to get worse, so again we drove back to the ER. I dont remember much since I climbed onto the 'birthing table' in the room Deb was placed in and fell asleep (Seeing me sprawled on a 'birthing table' had to be funny to the medical staff)
Deb stayed sick on Sunday, she didnt get any better, so first thing early on Monday morning we drove to Dr.Ichuguchi's office (Her nice/polite oncologist) to go over what happened with the 2 ER visits. Dr.Ichuguchi wanted a blood test done because something did not seem right to her.
Dr.Ichuguchi's head RN Deana took Deb to the lab and drew her blood and told Deb & myself to wait about 15 minutes and they would have the results back. So after the 15 minutes ended Deana (Dr.Ichuguchi was out of the office at that time) informed Deb & myself that we needed to IMMEDIATELY head to the Edmond City Hospital (Which was Dr.Ichuguchi's home base facility). Deb asked why, seems Deb had developed a DEADLY septis infection that was at the lethal range, and if we did not head to the hospital (Who were informed of the immediate and urgent situation) that Deb could go into septic shock and die!
Deb stayed hospitalized from Dec.2003 to March 2004 because of Dr.Storm's refussal of request a simple UA and/or blood test that first visit to the ER.
Wanna know how sucky this Dr. is, the Wednesday after Christmas (When Deb was already hospitalized in Edmond) I received in the mail a reuquest from Dr.Storms for Deb to come back into the ER to have lab work done because the ER may have missed something during her ER evaluation. In that letter it said the hospital tried calling Deb but could not reach her, horse****, she is an EMPLOYEE so her phone #'s are on record. They never called, instead they were just covering their ass with that excuse.
Deb & myself are very sure that Dr.Ichuguchi paid a visit to Dr.Storms to grill him over what happened. Oddly Dr.Ichuguchi lost her priviledge to Grady Memorial Hospital at the same time Deb became gravely ill, conincidence think not.
Oh, we couldve had sued the ER & Dr.Storms over this whole mess, problem was that since Debbie is an employee the hospital would had fired her for filing suit, thus cutting her comprehensive insurance and thus possibly causing her to not be treated for the septis/cancer (The septis was so severe, Deb wasnt told till she recovered from it that she only had a 10% of survival - The cancer was not a concern at the time), thus causing her her life....So we took one for the team.
So I am worried about my hand since we had a prior history with Dr.Storms - Yeah, seriously concerned.
Delta Burke is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. I don't want to touch her though. :p
I wanna touch her (I know I did touch her younger look-a-like years ago :wavey: ), trust me, that woman gets my motor running.

You don't like ANYTHING country? I used to be the same way, until I discovered the classic country and such that doesn't hold the same amount of suck as the stuff played on country radio.
