I thought it'd be cool to start a thread where you can post some of your funniest Stevie moments, either that took place in person or something that struck you as funny during an interview, video, etc. Here are some of mine:
1. At the FM San Diego show 2003: This drunk dude climbed up on stage during Beautiful Child, got between Lindsey and Stevie, put his arm around each of them and began swaying to the music back and forth. Stevie had her eyes closed at first, but then she opened them and boy did they get BIG! By then, which seemed like forever, security finally ran over to the guy and escorted him off. Lindsey just kind of looked like, what the heck was that?? They finished the song, and afterward Stevie said that at first she thought it was a ghost, and to not worry because he had a very gentle touch, and laughed.
2. The Sandra Bernhardt interview: Sandra gets Stevie a gift. Stevie opens it, and it's a mirror but it is turned mirror-side out in the box when she first looks at it. Sandra quickly quips, "Look Stevie- it's the "other side of the mirror"! That cracks me up everytime I see it.
3. The I Can't Wait video: The Solid Gold dance steps in this video crack me up.
4. The Destiny Rules documentary: Not really sure why this is funny to me, but one of Stevie's dogs is up on the kitchen counter in the singing fish scene and she is smelling a rotisserie chicken.

Ok, funniest moment is when Stevie walks in with the spirit catcher and everyone is just looking at her! Then she says, it's a great piece from my house in Phoenix or something and they're like, put it up there!
Other moments that kinda make me giggle include:
-Red Rocks Edge of Seventeen... when she does the yell near the end, aahababahaalalhahdhfhabbababahadhnbfbahahbfbahahahaaahahah.
-Running in late for Gypsy in the Mirage DVD.
-Also in the Mirage DVD, although not Stevie's fault, is the wacky closed captioning. Instead of "your life knows no answer" it's "your life is gold and silver"!!! make me laugh!

3. The I Can't Wait video: The Solid Gold dance steps in this video crack me up.
Oh God, the part two and a half minutes in where all five of them have simultaneous seizures cracks me up. All Brad Jeffries idea, no doubt. What a path of destruction he has laid in her videos.
I love the part in one of her David Letterman interviews where she makes an unintentional funny. They are talking about touring.
David Letterman: Now, are you gonna go overseas?
Stevie Nicks: Um, yes. Absolutely.
David Letterman: Wow. And, eh, you don't get tired of that stuff?
Stevie Nicks: I haven't really been to Europe in a long time. So, I'm kinda looking forward to it.
David Letterman: And will the crowds be crazy for you when you go over there?
Stevie Nicks: I have no idea. But you have to go there. [Being very sincere here and you think she is going to say something profound]
David Letterman: Yeah.
Stevie Nicks: To make them crazy about you.
David Letterman: I see. (audience laughs)
Stevie Nicks: If you don't go they don't like you. So, I'm goin. (Dave laughs)
David Letterman: Well, good, that makes perfect sense.(audience applauds and Stevie smiles.)
Of course she never went overseas afterall. You can't trust a thing she says. Read the whole interview here (http://bla.fleetwoodmac.net/index.php?page=index_v2&id=363&c=11).

one of my favorites is on the Leno show when Jay is asking Stevie random questions and he says something like:
J: at the grocery store, do you prefer paper or plastic?
S: both
and then goes on to talk and it is clear Stevie's thinking cash vs. card...

With that in mind, on the Mirage video...during 'Sisters of The Moon' where she begins to speak in tongues, the closed captioning says: "unintelligable lyrics."

When she sang with Bob Welch at Cal Jam and she is having fun dancing and forgets to come in on the chorus. She's like, "Oh ****, oops!"

Hmm, I totally understand "both." I like put a paper bag inside of a plastic bag. Then again, I'm sure she just didn't understand what he meant. The last time she went grocery shopping was probably pre-"paper or plastic."

She does it in the Red Rocks video too! She is notorious for having so much fun bouncing around the stage that she forgets to sing at the microphone.

1979 Jim Ladd Innerview -- "Gabrielle ... really ... go catch a fever."
1981 Jim Ladd Innerview -- Stevie: "I mean, do you wanna know what The Highwayman is _about_?" Jim: "No, Stevie, I'd rather talk about baseball."
1987 Tango Listening Party, Florida -- Billy: "I started out in life as a small child ..." Stevie: "Hehhehheheaahaaa!!"
1980 Off The Record -- "Well, I like to watch [what's happening onstage] sometimes, from the side ... But they don't really like us to stand around & watch. So we have these tents, right? these Baghdad tents that we're supposed to hang out in ... the world goes on in these tents, right? ... & sometimes we start talking [laughs] ... & we start talking so loud that you can hear us! [laughs] Courage runs over & says, 'SHH!! They can hear you onstage!' [laughs]"

~ The 24 Karat Gold demo, where there's a bunch of talking at the beginning... Stevie and co. are trying to get this picture taken, and they're all talking over one another, when she snaps, "Oh, SHUT UP Lindsey, and look at the camera! LOOK!" Then someone (a male, not sure who) yells out "Kiss me!". Priceless. A bit later in the same demo:
"Alright, where's the dope? 'Cause I need to smoke some weed. I'm a rock 'n roll hippie".
~ The "birds rising" Rhiannon demo. The way she goes "The sound of... birds rising. You know, the rustling? Okay?" Baked.
~ After performing Lola at a BuckinghamNicks show: *southern drawl* "Thaaank yew. You get to Alabama, and you immediately start saying things like, *adopts accent again* thank yew. *laughs*"
~ Any interviews from the Wild Heart era.

1 of my fav/cute moments in during the tusk docu, where she is standing by the piano, lindsey is playing it, trying to help her on the harmony parts of "angel", there is part where she lets out a cute laugh, when lindsey is sorta mocking her voice, i always have loved that part~ also the girl scout cookie line from the us festival dvd, she is a riot during that:nod:  ~

my favorite of all time is landover 1983 stand back. when she goes to introduce a song and then realizes it's the wrong one...
"it's better to have loved and lost...*stoned chuckle* than to never have loved at all........oh no!!!! that song now?! well, as the fairy tale goes-it's the story of the beauty and the beast. You can not look upon the beast until you can look upon the beast with luuuuuvvv. Cuz it bums him out completely.....and then it kills him.....so you have to look at him with luuuuuvvv....and that's what this song is about"
haha..LOVE IT!!

My funniest Stevie moment:
That Made Me Stronger
Personally, I think her Petty explanation makes it seem pretty funny. Take the "no, you write your songs yourself" part out and the song is more meaningful to me. It has one of my favorite lines
"I tell the shadows of my soul to stay back".
Funny Stevie moments...1998 A Day in the Garden, when she tells the dudes to keep scrubbing the floors and she does her belly laugh.
Destiny Rules "people aren't on the floor smoking dope, thinking about buying the next copy of Billboard"...she was right though.
A completely serious Stevie says "well, you would not say that to Bob Dylan"...watching LBs reaction and how he tries to answer her with complete sincerity, even though he is exasperated, cracks me up.
How she compared Landslide to a cat. "you think it is gone but then you walk in your bedroom and find it sleeping on your bed"...WTF?

Ok well I have told this story before, Me nervously and stupidly asking Stevie at Storytellers" Hi Stevie , Would you please tell us the story of Rhiannon, Its such a captivating song ( pukes on self thinking of it-LOL) " :blob2: Stevie in her funny sarcastic voice " Well of course I am going to tell you that story...........Later!!" The audience cracked up, I felt like a fool! Thankfully she wanted to know if there was another question I had,(saving my last shred of dignity, I would have been crushed throughout the rest of the taping and MY LIFE )since I had bowed my head in stupid embarrassment. To this day when I watch my crappy bootleg, I feel like a fool!!!!!!!!!! LOL !

I heard a bootleg once where she was doing Leather and Lace, and in the middle of the song there's a noise like something falling, and without missing a beat she says, "I didn't do that" and goes right back to singing. I almost pissed myself. Then she stops in the middle of the chorus and says "why am I the only one singing?", they must have explained that the audience could hear but not her, and so she sort of goes "oh well, okay... one... two... three... four... lovers forever..." and goes right back into it. It was really fun.

I remember listening to that - I think that is the WH Chicago show.
Another one that is pretty funny is the WH Buffalo show. When she is introducing Sara she says she wrote it about everyone she knows and someone in the audience yells "David Bowie" and Stevie says she met him and he didn't have anything to say to her. Then she sings "Wait a minute David." while singing Sara. lol. Then when she is introducing her band she says "not to be like Lindsey and cut off your applause." She was in rare form that night. I wish she was still like that.

Red Rocks Video: the high five action she gives the back-up singers. Also from Red Rocks, all of the "spoken word" treatment she gives her songs. I swear, it's like she "talks" 50% of the songs on that.
I have a feeling a lot of the funny moments are going to be from that video ;).
