It's boring me. I really only care about Alfre Woodard and Marcia Cross at this point. I dream of strapping Teri Hatcher down and shoving a feeding tube up her nose; her straw legs make me physically ill.

Ohhh...Terri Hatcher is one hot MILF! I love her dearly. :wavey:

So now we know that it is her husband that she is keeping locked up in the basement...but she said her son was dead?

When Brea slapped Phyllis, I thought I was going to die...It was hilarious!

That? Is disgusting. She makes Kate Moss look like a beached whale. And that veiny forehead of hers that she's sporting because she's so underweight grosses me out. It looks like a roadmap.

So now we know that it is her husband that she is keeping locked up in the basement...but she said her son was dead?

I don't think DeepVoiced!Matthew is her son. They're too cuddly. And she's supposed to have something to do with the whole Mary Alice affair.

I totally predicted the slap, but it was hilarious.

Alfre merely told the shrink that story to get the sleeping pills. We still don't know for sure she was even telling the truth. I still think it's Paul in the basement.

Someone please give Teri Hatcher a sandwich. Or 12.

I love that Edie skates on "quads" with pom-poms on 'em.

When I can visibly see every bone in someone's body, I cannot fathom calling them hot. I'd be afraid of being impaled by a jutting bone if I got near her, let alone if I schtupped her.

She is great!

This was not the best episode. The season premiere was great, but this episode was kind of a let down, I must say. Oh well, hoepefully next week will be better.

And someone needs to tell the powers that be that we want more Edie! The public is demanding more Edie Brit! Why she is only in one minute an episode, I'll never know!

I missed about the last 15 minutes of the show. Can someone fill me in about Alfre Woodard at the shrink? I didn't see any of that? And did I miss anything else? Oh Edie and the skates. I didn't see that either.

Alfre told the shrink she hasn't been sleeping so he prescribed a sedative which she then chopped up and put in her prisoner's food.

Edie was roller skating and came up to Susan's car. They got into a fight about Susan's ex. Edie said he told her they had the best sex "bar none". Then Susan told Edie that her ex just told her 6 mos prior he was still in love with her and drove off. Edie caught up with Susan at a stop sign with a crossing gaurd crossing school children. Edie was insisting he never said that to Susan. Then Susan was driving off with Edie hanging on the car. Edie fell behind and said something and Susan backed up to yell at her and wound up hitting her with the car! It was hilarious. Edie has a broken tibia.

I agree with a lot of the previous posts...

Last night's episode wasn't the best I've ever seen but it's still more entertaining than anything else on television right now. Next week's episode looks much beefier (and that's not because the gardener returns!) to me.

Big cheers go to Edie Brit and her fabu red skating outfit - I agree, more Edie! MORE EDIE!!!

And how hot is Teri Hatcher's ex? HELLO DADDY! Lucky Edie... :wavey:

Maybe the hand is just really thin from only being fed one meal a day. If all I ate was a half a sandwich for an entire day I would have a dainty hand too. And, of course it was lily white because the person in question has been trapped in a basement for God knows how long.

His episode of "Law and Order: Criminal Intent" is on USA tomorrow a couple of times; I don't remember when, though. I think it was the only episode of that show that I actually liked because it was the pilot and I remembered thinking it was a great show, but then I saw more episodes and thought it sucked. They've lost me. That show has become as entertaining as waiting in line at the DMV. It's become too cartoonish and repetitive, and I can't bear to see them waste Alfre Woodard like they do.

I still think their opening teaser was one of the best hooks ever. Here I went thinking I was going to watch some fluffy show about housewives struggling to make it (in the same genre as Sisters used to be) and then BAM, out of the blue she shoots herself through the head. That's when I knew this was going to be a great show. I really loved the first season, and as I said, I am waiting for the plot twists to make the current season more interesting.

Teri Hatcher is seriously getting on my nerves on this show lately. Her character has become completely unlikable and she plays her in such a shrill manner that I can't stand it.

The only thing that really saved this episode was Lesley Ann Warren. Oh, how I adore her.

When I first saw him on the show, I thought "Wow, his voice kinda ruins it for me." Then, he grew on me last night a lot for some wierd reason. I'd do him too. LOL He reminds me of Scott Bakula, who I love. Although, Scott's voice is a little deeper.

Laura, you met Sue Ellen Mischke!? Hee!!

Did you ever watch the show "Profit" back in the mid-nineties on Fox? He was sooo good in that show. I loved it, but it only ran for around four episodes. It was released on DVD over the summer with four more episodes that never aired for under twenty bucks. You'd probably like it, it's delightfully twisted, over-the-top, and perverted. It's no surprise that it got canceled because it's something that you'd expect to see on HBO or FX nowadays, not on network television in the nineties.

But, anyway, yeah, he's hot.

Bree's rash was hilarious - could George BE any creepier?

Was anyone else expecting Lynette to spill something on that creme suit? Or one of the kids run up and hug her w/ their muddy hands?

Susan-UGH! Hate her now...

Next week looks good -w/ "the escape!"

How gorgeous did Bree look in that blue jewel-toned shirt? And yes, that guy is so creepy, ew ick.

Terri Hatcher's character has become like Allison on Melrose Place, blech. I felt sorry for her but I did not cry like I probalby would have if she were a sympathetic character.

I adore Lynette, she is so devious but in an "innocent" way. Husbands just do not understand how important fashion is! The golf club stunt was the best.

I don't like that lawyer guy one bit. I forgot to check if he was hot because he is such a sleeze. Gabrielle and Carlos are a big snooze fest this season, who cares? I'd be fine with it if he just stayed in jail.

And what's his face coming back. He is such a major creep. Evil. I would love to see Susan off him!

OMG, I actually said that out loud last night! I shouted "Shut the phuck up, Allison!" while she was having her breakdown in the middle of the road.

I can't stand Carlos and Gabrielle, never liked them at all. They need to ditch them because they've never been interesting. At least the Mike and Susan **** was interesting at one point.

The ultimate in whininess was when she crashed Billy and Brooke's wedding. Then she fell off the wagon and got completely sloshed right before Kimberly blew up the building and wouldn't come out of her apartment. And her whiney, drunk ass was blown sky high. I was hoping she died, but no, they made the bitch blind so that she could try to land Billy yet again. Argh.

Yeah, it was the gardener that was "interesting"!

I think I had stopped watching MP by that point. I didn't care about any of the characters anymore. Allison annoyed the crap out of me by that time. Billy, on the other hand, annoyed me from day one of that show. I thought Andrew Shue was the worst actor on the face of the earth... until they brought Brooke on. The girl who played her gave Andrew Shue a run for his money! I think Billy and Brooke were made for each other... they had to be the two most boring characters ever! The affairs they each had couldn't even save them from dullsville.

Oh god, he was making my skin crawl.

I'm not a Teri Hatcher fan, but I liked her character in the beginning. She has become rather annoying, though. I really didn't feel anything for her when she had her little breakdown last night. I do agree with Brown Eyes, though, about this line being funny: "And to think we have a murderer living down the street from us and there is nothing we can do about it just because you are an ex-con and I burned down Edie's house!"

I adore Lynette, she is so devious but in an "innocent" way. Husbands just do not understand how important fashion is! The golf club stunt was the best.

Yep, she played that perfectly!

Gabrielle and Carlos are a big snooze fest this season, who cares? I'd be fine with it if he just stayed in jail.

What I'd like to know is whether they're ever going to make her look pregnant! She has to be several months along by now, isn't she? Hell, I was 6 weeks along when I found out I was pregnant with my son, and I was already having trouble buttoning my pants!

And what's his face coming back. He is such a major creep. Evil. I would love to see Susan off him!

Yeah, he gives me the creeps as well. Maybe they can put him and George in a car together, and drive it over a cliff!

Yes, Andrew Shue is a horrible "actor". I had also stopped watching at this point because it was so awful.

This was one of the most boring episodes of HOUSEWIVES yet!
I will say that Bree's rash was hilarious (and I totally agree with that post about her being GORGEOUS).
But this episode was so predictable. I knew that (1) creepy George was gonna slip Bree some roofies, (2) Lynette was gonna have a price tag hanging, (3) Bigmouth Susan wasn't going to be able to hold anything in and
(4) Gabrielle was going to be over the top as usual. And the way the episode ended...crying in the street in a wedding gown? OH BROTHER!
I want more Edie Britt!

And in regards to MELROSE PLACE...that was SUCH a whacky show! I remember one cliff hanger had Dr Kimberly Shaw (the gorgeous Marcia Cross)taking off her wig and she had become some kind of alien!??!?!! And didn't the conniving and backstabbing Sydney drive off a cliff in her wedding dress??? That was such a nutty show...I miss it!

Laura, you met Sue Ellen Mischke!? Hee!!

I was not a regular Seinfeld viewer, so never got to catch her on that show... the braless wonder. I did see her a few times on Everwood. She played Treat Williams' dead wife. When she was signing the pic I mentioned something about all the ghostly parts she's been playing lately and she just chuckled and said something like ..yea, I better be careful or I'll be typecast. What a dorky thing for me to say. DUH! :sorry: The jacket she wore in the movie Starship Troopers was up on Ebay awhile back, so I mentioned it to her sister/my boss. She laughed and said she's got lots of stuff of hers she could be selling on Ebay. :p I dunno... it's kinda weird, for me anyway, to occassionally see a TV/Movie star come strolling thru our tacky old government-run office. :D

I thought for sure creepy would sexually assault her, but I do believe that she was still fully clothed (pantyhose included) when she woke up. So did he or didn't he?

Susan - so over-the-top ridiculous, I wanted to reach into the TV & slap her.

Bree: "I'm not going to say it again, it made my teeth hurt bad enough the first time."

You're right - it was a bit better. I think it was Edie who said that, though, wasn't it? To Susan? It all starts to blend together...

Spoiler below......

I guess Gabrielle is losing the baby. Not surprising - I couldn't quite see them making her a mom... I actually liked the scenes with her and Bree tonight. Bree has gone from the cold, anal b*tch to one of the sanest, most reasonable characters on the show.

Duh - you're right. I must have been thinking of Bree...Susan was more tolerable. I wouldn't have minded seeing some of her and Carl gettin' it on...he's hot...

Bree's daughter hooking up with the new guy? Who knew? oh, that's right, I DID! Gloat gloat gloat.

George is just out of hand. Throwing a guy off a bridge, buying Bree a house, proposing in front of his mom (and btw Linda Dano does NOT look old enough to be his mom!) I hope Bree figures all of this out soon, it's just too creepy. I hate that guy.

I love that Mike is totally ignoring Susan. She deserves nothing from him. And sleeping with Edit:CARL? Kind of yuck.

Gabby. Baby lost, or bedrest for weeks? Not sure how this will play out.

Lynette & Tom & that couple were great. "My boys had a rock fight with yours." "That's OK, they look fine to me." :D

"Let's show them 'the room' honey!"

I still love this show.. A LOT! I just hope Marc Cherry takes all the fans' opinions into consideration when writing the main storyline for next season.. Season 1 was very well written and planned out.. but they ended it so soon.. they didn't really have anywhere to go this year. I think next season will be better..
