I thought this would make a fun thread. What are your favorite quotes about Stevie, said by other people. I'll start this with my new favorite quote from Tom Petty.
"Now Stevie, there's a Cecil B. DeMille movie. This is a person that's larger than life in a hundred ways." Tom Petty

"She moves and dances purely because she likes dancing. But she has a split personality. Onstage she's the goddess of whatever, but offstage she's very often like a little old lady with a cold or a sore throat. Yet she's amazing..she can feel like **** before she goes onstage but then she goes out there and pulls out the stops."

I'm trying to remember the exact quote from Grace Slick on VH1's "100 Greatest Women of Rock" or whatever the hell it was called. Something like:
"Oh, yes, the witch, the witch. I love her."
Also, a combined quote from me & Suzequze in Vegas in May:
"Stevie is one hot sexy bitch."

I love that, for some reason. It's also comforting, somehow.... :p
This isn't my favorite quote of all time, but I just read Jim Ladd's Wild Heart interview with Stevie, Sandy Stewart, Lori, and Sharon, and I kept cracking up at their back-and-forth banter. I love when Sandy starts talking nicely about Stevie, and the two start arguing, and Jim says:
"Stevie, Jesus Christ come on! You are the worst person to take a compliment that I've ever met in my life and that was a very nice thing and it rings very true."
It's just funny, and I love how he puts her in her place.

I like the one where the interviewer asks Christine how it feels to be a sex goddess or something to that extent, and she quips "Don't ask me ask Stevie Nicks"
I love the Slick quote, haden't heard that before and I always wondered what Slick thought of Stevie.
Oh the other one was the quote about have "come f*uck me a four in the morning voice", thought that was pretty damn funny

Not so much a quote, as it is a sighting - but on The Simpsons, when Homer bowled a perfect game and whipped out his "List of Things To Do Before I Die," to check off "bowl a perfect game." A few entries below that one was, "Date Stevie Nicks," and it had a check-mark next to it!
Just reminded myself of another Simpsons quote - I think it was Burns, talking about Lisa: "She's got more magical witchery than Stevie Nicks."
I love the Keith Olsen quote about her harmonizing talents: "She can wrap her voice around anyone's."

On VH1's Fan Club (for Stevie), they show Sheryl Crow on stage shouting out to the crowd "TO THE GREATEST FANS ON THE PLANET, STEVIE NICKS FANS!"
And on Rosie, I think, when Sheryl was on tour with Stevie she said that Stevie Nicks fans are awesome, they give her tiffany lamps, and at her concerts, she has bottle caps thrown at her!

Yeah - those Simpsons quotes are great. Since we are tossing these out and Six Feet Under ended last night, let me repeat what was said about Stevie back a couple of seasons ago.
Nate walks into the kitchen where, Ruth Claire, and David are having breakfast. He offers them some special raspberries, because the guy he bought them from once had sex with Stevie Nicks. So later on the teenage daughter, Claire says, "I want more of those Stevie Nicks raspberries."

"She has an exquisite femininity"....Lindsey
One of my favorite quotes from Stevie about Lindsey....(regarding writing about each other)...
"he loves that he inspires me.....and...I inspire him". (2005)
Another favorite Stevie quote about Lindsey:
"when people I love die.... he will be the first person I call".
I liked this quote alot anyway but recently it has been one I have thought about more often. It says alot in a few words about how much she still needs him, especially at the most difficult or upsetting times in her life. It has nothing to do with whether a shipper thinks they are hitting the sheets or whatever but the fact that Linds would be one of the first people Stevie would turn to after a death speaks volumes about her emotional connection to him. (chiffonhead haters fire away! :> )'
One more. Quote from Billy Corgan about both Lindsey and Stevie. Watching them perform is "like sex without the sex, they just have that..one of a kind connection".
