Yeah, that's true. I'd be pissy either way though, as we all know :)

I'm already starting to hear a little bit about the INXS tour in the states... large-ish theatres, $60-$70 top ticket, in January/February or so. It should be... interesting... to see how it does.

I just wonder who they're going to get for the next version of Rock Star. We were joking today in the office that maybe it'll be Rock Star: Blind Melon. "You're just not right for our band, Blind Melon." "Yeah, Contestant #1... we'll need you to sing 'No Rain.' Same goes for you, other two. That's the only song we have."

Etc.

:laugh: :laugh: I was wondering who would be next season's band. The only one that immediately comes to mind is Alice In Chains. I'm sure there are many more though.

I'm on mountain time so I'm one hour ahead of you. It's on a 9pm here. They make us go to bed early in the red states. :o :laugh:

I've heard rumors that Stone Temple Pilots is looking to do the show. I don't know how accurate that is, because I'd also heard the DeLeo brothers were putting together another band.

I don't think there's any way Alice in Chains would do it. Jerry Cantrell is too cool. I mean, he lives on a ranch in Oklahoma with his mom. He has piles of money and totally doesn't care.

That could be interesting. It could also be a lawsuit waiting to happen. Weiland co-wrote most or all of the big hits, didn't he?

Not if they're going to sing Pretty Vegas or that awful new "Us" song.

But if JD can pull off "Shine Like It Does", then I wouldn't mind watching.

I don't watch that INXS thing, but just had to jump in to say CRAIG FERGUSON RAWKS!!!1!!11!!!!1!

I love him, he's so funny. A rarity amongst late night hosts.
