As Phil Rizzudo would say HOLEEEEE COW! I cant believe that. Nearly 400 pages. Mine "What Do You Look Like" post pales in comparison. Oh well.

Well since I am totally dissappointed and bummed about my Florida vacation being cancelled for next week (thank you hurricane Dennis.....bastard!) , I've decided to be brave and post some pics from last years vacation
Except the first one keeps showing up huge no matter how many times I resize it....and I don't want a massive image of myself in a swimsuit on here! So here's the other one...

I am supposed to be going to FL in October. Thinking about actually moving there. I am not so sure though. I have lived in New York for all my life 29 years. I think if I did end up moving to FL I would still always feel like a New Yorker. I just think that FL is so much more relaxing.
Are you rescheduling your vacation and trip to FL for another time?

I would LOVE to live down there...minus the hurricanes of course! I hate cold weather, I am bitchy all winter long :p We aren't going to reschuedule. It's too hard for everyone to get off work with such short notice and it would be hard to get reservations. We have a pretty large group (approx. 50 people) that go every year.

Yes it would have been fun. We all go to the same place every summer, have been for the past 5 or 6 years. This vacation is like the highlight of my year :( What part of Florida doesn't get hit by hurricanes? Maybe I can go there
I'm so sorry you're missing your vacation. I know my beach trip is the highlight of my year, too!
We were going to stay at Pinnacle Port in PC next week, but they cancelled due to "beach erosion/minor damage..." Fortunately, I was able to find 4 rooms somewhere else yesterday. It took me nearly all day, though!! I can't imaging trying to reschedule 50 people. I'm so sorry! :(

Thanks. Yes it sucks big time. You are lucky to have found somewhere else to go! We made our reservations for this year when we were there last year. I guess I've have to wait till next year to get my beach fix :distress: We'll find something to do in the oh so exciting state of Missouri I'm sure :o Probably go rafting of something. Not the beach, but it's better than working!

That is so cute. You sure were excited. What a little doll.
I only have one really young one, I think the rest are at my parents. I like that you're here, I like to see new pictures. Actually, I like to see old ones, too, ledgies have great pics.
Anyway, I always post this one, everyone else has seen it. The best part is how everything matches, even my toenail polish. There are a lot of pics of me crying when I was little, which is funny, but I don't have them.

Yeah, that was when I actually dressed like a girl and did my hair (or rather had mom do it). Now I just don't give damn.
I wish I could find the picture of me when I was like 6 or so wearing jeans, a t-shirt, cowboy boots and - of all things - a grass hula skirt and a lei.
haha, i'm the same way. for the most part.
that reminds me of a picture we have of my brother in cowboy boots and a cowboy boots, riding a donkey. ha.

Omigod, my mom thought it was really funny to take pics of me crying, too! There is this whole Christmas Eve crying series when I was three... It is pretty funny, though. I was "tired" because we open our presents on Xmas eve.

So, all of you are such darling little ones! I love kid pix! Amber, you have great smiling eyes, Carrie, you look so sweet, and silly.
I am late, but I really wanted to post in response to the feathered hair. Those girls with the perfectly feathered hair were all over my Southern California school, but I had waves when waves were not cool, and I didn't know what to do with them. They grew out in finger waves, like the kind silent film stars had. Wavy hair brought me grief until the middle 80's.

yeah, hopefully all that good stuff. i cooked ground turkey with it tonight for soft tacos (with wheat tortillas). it's AMAZING how different i feel now that i've really gotten serious about eating better. i feel so good. i actually have a notebook where i write stuff down whenever one of you ledgies give good advice (which is often). i actually found a great thread from, like, 2 years ago that had some great stuff in it.

That could be the new masterpiece. Nice dress, nerdo!!!! :xoxo: Sooo cute.
I was 11. There was a softball tournament in Stockton that summer, which was convenient b/c my grandma and fam lives there, and I went every summer.
I know, everything you turn into after the age of 8 sucks. It's because you grow up, and you are supposed to be controlled, and people make you feel weird for being free and sassy. There is an appropriate way to become an adult without losing that, I just don't know what it is. But I've always thought "everyone" was boring, even when I was little. Then when you grow up, everyone is even more boring. So it makes you feel like you should be controlled and proper and be happy being that way.
I dunno, I don't have the answer. I always thought I would grow up and be a famous actress, so, problem solved. Actors can totally twack out, and it's okay.
I'm not sure the exact way that you don't feel free and sassy. I think the difference with me is that when I was little I was a tiny little assmonkey, and didn't care what people thought, or notice - but now that I'm grown - when I'm an assmonkey the repercussions are more severe, so I feel like I have to not assmonkey as much.
Oh, and if you are type O blood, you shouldn't really eat wheat. Otherwise that meal sounds awesome. Try to get a bunch of good veggies in your burrito, and get some boca ground if you can.

Nah, I didn't even know how to braid my hair until junior high, when someone showed me. Hair spray didn't even occur to me, and I never had a curling iron. The thing is that I liked my hair(I loved old movies) I just knew that others didn't. Later, I figured out that twisting my hair let it dry smooth, and then I wore it over one eye, like Veronica Lake, which still wasn't cool.
I want to tell you that we had an orange shag rug under our chrome and glass table, in front of that yellow vinyl couch!!!

As opposed to all them skinny, sexy b*tches.

Which of the composers of the distant past would you say was the headbanger of his day? Lully? Charpentier? Beethoven? Weber? Walton? Satie?
Is it true that headbanger music actually started in ancient Greece?

Love the 'fro. It's great.
Overall you don't look a whole lot different though, which is a good thing. Me, on the other hand...
I found a few pics of me and my brother in our little wading pool with this enormous inflatable killer whale which were pretty funny, and lots of photos of Easter egg hunts and Halloween costumes, but I don't think my brother would appreciate me posting them.
As for the necklace in the recent photo, I think that's the only time I've ever actually worn it. I usually don't wear anything but scrubs during the week and t-shirts and khakis during the weekend so there's no point in accessorizing. Typically the only time I wear jewelry is at the Renaissance Faire, and most of those are of skulls, swords, etc. I'm not exactly a girly girl.

Paula, I liked Queensryche, and some other metal. I had a friend in this band called Alcatrazz, and saw some fun shows courtesy of them. Let's see some more pics of you in full metal regalia.

No one has those hangers anymore, I used to make Macrame plant hangers-belts, key chains, purses....We all did, while embroidering stars and moons on our jeans, or our boyfriends jeans-=haha ...
