I wish! It is a pic of Bonnie Raitt, Maria Muldaur, and Linda Ronstadt. Somehow it got really tiny, and I have reuploaded it several times but it still looks small. maybe it is cached on my computer that way. hmm.
Hey, I am glad I can still pick out an artist
WOW- I was thinking it looked like...Bonnie, Melissa Manchester and Linda...
but that is how everone looked back then, (more or less) so it could have been friends...
That's is amazing...
Sometimes, I amaze myself:laugh:

;) Eclipse - I can see where the Stevie similarity comes in.
Thank you Paula...I am just waiting to hear from Jason, he has been kidding me about not being able to do picture "stuff" .
So whenever we do one of these threads, I just thow in that Stevie picture and say, more or less...that's sorta me.. But he hasn't weighed in as of yet...Of course, with his make up....He looks much more like her than I

Beautiful hair! It reminds me of Valerie Bertinelli's hair.
What a dreamy expression!

Vicky - why did I think you looked different? That pic you posted is great. And the younger ones? Adorable. Can I ask what your ethnic background is? Any Asian or Native American?
****, just noticed this.
My dad is Japanese. My mom is white but I'm not sure exactly what countries because she was adopted from birth. I'm also not sure why I look so damn tan in the younger photos... I'm usually pretty pastey.

Highschool with pseudo feathers. I couldn't really feather my hair because I had to go with its curls, it has a mind of its own and will not be tamed.

I actually never go by the name "Vicky." I either go by Victoria or Tory. So when you call my office, you'll hear this soft sexy sweet voice saying "Vacaville Pet Vet Clinic - this is Victoria, how may I help you?" and if you don't respond within a few seconds you'll get a very gruff and annoyed "HELLO?" shouted in your ear, then a pause, then a click when I hang up on your ass.

I feel bad, only posting cute pics from when I was little. It's only fair to expose the ugly truth of modern Amber. In the process I also noticed my bathroom mirror was dirty. Also, now people won't doubt when I say I really wear my swimsuit all the time. It's like a bra, but more comfortable...I can do chores and yoga and stuff, while still getting all the support I need. Will someone tell me if it's inappropriately huge? The gold disc necklace, and the light emanating form your head, give you the appearance of a new age priestess. You were saying to yourself, "I feel a sense of divine love, and oneness with all, I wonder if there is a golden lotus of light atop my head? I will go to the mirror to see..."
Anyway, you look hot, and I can't tell it is nap head, under all that divine light.:)

No, I just did it for this. You know, like people do on myspace? I actually don't do that otherwise. Except when I first got the cam and was all excited.
Are you kidding? I'm the worst person I've ever met for photographing way more badly than I really look. Or, at least photographing badly. I'm not too fond of pics. That is why I get really excited when I take a good one, and want to show everyone, because 95 out of 100 pics of me will suck much a**.

I know. But...uh...it wouldn't be my first choice of things to like about you. I mean, if you posted the armpit pic, I wouldn't say "nice armpit!". I would say, "nice arms, Sparkles!".
Is the armpit a more appealing part of the body then I ever imagined? It seems like if you couldn't think of anything else nice to say, you would then say "nice armpit!"
Also, Dontrell, though we both have nice arms, yours are leaner, and your armpits are really much nicer. Your arms have given me my only gay crush, ever. It's not severe, but I do like your arms.

Bigger? They were like grapefruits. Or cantalopes. They must be stunning now. They were totally pop up before. (You know, when people are slim, so their muscles pop out real good?)
I like pits, too, but not objectively, just subjectively. Ie, they don't randomly turn me on, but I like them on my bf.
Thanks for the compliments. You know I love that. And my collarbones are tied for my favorite body part...tied with my thin girl arms. Not these arms, but I still like them. :woohoo:

this year as I did last year (Except for longer hair, which is constantly in a tail since females like to play with my frikkin hair which I find annoying), So I have no updated pictures available (Only picture I have had taken this year is my new drivers license picture) so this 'regrettable' picture from last June will have to do:

Um...why do your boobs look waaaay bigger than the last time I saw them? *suspicious*
I love that NYE dress, it looks great on you. Love the shape.
I, too, have three pairs of pants that come to my lower mid calf. They're kinda flairy, though.
Your kid pic is adorable, it's awesome to see your parents! (I don't know why, I love old pics). At first glance I thought "Could she look any more like her (handsome, mustachioed) dad?" But then I looked closer and you looked like your mom a little, too.
What sucks and that you can't really see is that Paula has the most beautiful color eyes, the color I always wanted. Light green. Sea green? They're really pretty.
I didn't have a sailor's suit. But I have another pic in gingham when I was three. That square checked stuff, right? Like the all red pic from before.
Here's the Light Blue gingham. Not as dynamic as the red. Actually, I have another pic in Dark Blue gingham, too, when I was three. It was the gingham times, I guess. I wonder if Stevie wore gingham in 76 - 77?
A nice preview of the big fat head I would later acquire with any weight gain whatsoever.
I resized this. Someone please tell me if it's really big. I think light blue checks are bad luck. My favorite part is how I look totally plain and unobtrusive, just regular. Tootally normal. Everything just plain brown. Very sweet and trusting. hehehehe. mwahahahahaha. "No, I'm not crazy!"

Most of my recent and digital photos are of my son, and now I have lost (misplaced, I hope) my digital camera, so I can't do a mirror picture.
There is a cool photo my son took of me and my husband on our recent trip to Mexico, but I have to grab those from husband's PC. I would like to post that.
I just scanned these, they are from 3 1/2 years ago.

Well, thanks! Of course I didn't post any pictures in which I look like Hagatha, and there are plenty of those, believe me!
I should have said this is what I can look like. It isn't really a fair representation: I was at a party, and many of my friends are photographers, so you know, I am all made up, and they take good photos. Here is one that shows more how I look without as much makeup and primping, and the photographer is my 3-year old son. If your phone and comp have bluetooth - you can transfer them that way, then upload them to photo bucket. Or, email them to yourself and then download them to your comp. and then upload them to photobucket. Once they are on photobucket, copy the entire weblink in the "Url" section underneath the pic. You have such a kind face—kind eyes—so it is odd to see it in contrast with the death skull in your avatar/icon.
I have received grief forever about my eyes, people dont seem to believe my eyes are dark emerald green/hazel mainly because I squint.
As for a kind face, It is the kind that ya stick in the corn to scare the crows away...Bwahahaha!!! Seriously, In my younger years I hated my facial looks since I looked identical to my late Mother (Once my Mother & I had some people ask if we were twins)...Now I consider it an honor to look more like Mom than my siblings

Actually, this mostly was a head and neck shoot, but I did not want clothes in the shot.
But, while he was there, I thought why not try the whole body  - those were not stellar and I need to go back to the gym

The only thing unusual here is that he framed the photo so well, and that I would never normally look so lovingly at a photographer.

Not to mention an hour to set up the lighting (the most important thing) and then type of film (if any) used. Even the so called candids in people are retouched. The only time they are not is when they want you to look normal, and that usually is to insult you in the worst dressed or look who got fat sections.
So, it is an impossible standard.

yep. even for those who are HOTT, they retouch them. a prime example is the promo poster for Step Up with the unbelievably gorgeous Channing Tatum...there is a side by side comparison of how they fixed his chin, he chest, his biceps...they don't know where to stop

Well, since I was a victim myself, I have that to draw upon as well. I tell you, the best advocates are the victims or those who have "been there/done that"
(ie drug counselors etc...) Ultimately our job on this Earth is to HELP each other not point fingers or act superior. I may fall down and forget that from time to time but its always there in the background, to goad me and remind me of the TRUE meaning of our time here on EARTH.

I love that NYE dress, it looks great on you. Love the shape.
Probably cuz I got fatter. And I love that dress too. Got it marked down from $119 to $28.
I def. look more like mom in general. From her I got the bad skin, big wide nose, chubbiness & fine limp hair. Dad gave me good long lashes & annoyingly bushy brows.
And yes, my eyes are usually green, occasionally more hazel. I'll see if I can find a good eye color pic...

That's a cute picture..is she back in school yet?
Thanks. Yes, she started school on the 14th. If they get in trouble for any reason, they have to "flip a card". They start out on green, flip to yellow, to red, depending on how bad they get. Sara is such a talker and had to flip a card a few times last year, so as an incentive to be quiet, I would give rewards for not flipping all 9 weeks. Anyhow, the reward this 9 weeks is me going to have lunch with her. I put my foot in my mouth and told her if she could make it all year without flipping a card, I would give her $100.... she thought she hit the lottery! She's so far done real well. No flipped cards...

I was thinking that too. I love that hair—she is darling! When I thought I might have a girl, I dreamed of how much fun it would be to do hair, dress up etc. I realize of course that I was just hoping to relive my girlhood, so perhaps it is better that I had a boy. Thank you! Thank God she got her good looks from her daddy... I prayed every night I was pregnant for a girl. It's fun to do hair and dress her up, when you have time, and when your not afraid of them ruining their "dress up" clothes. Seems like having a boy would be so much easier, but then, I wouldn't have anyone to argue with! :o

Freshman Volleyball team photo, 14 yrs. old. Oddly, that day was "hippy day" at school, so my hair is flatter and my makeup tamer. Those bangs were usually a bit more prominent.
It worked out well. I was also wearing this killer yellow mini dress with tiny mirrors, and patterns all down it that my mom had saved from actual hippy days, it was her dress. Of course, I couldn't wear it for V-ball pics. It's still in my closet, though, awaiting my pending thinnerness. Two sports pics, including this one, have schooled me on the bad angle for my nose. My nose is actually upturned when viewed from the side, but...well...sh*t happens in left taken sports photos. No big. Not saying my nose is small... It's medium. This pic is weird, I look a bit rapacious to my own eyes. A bit cunning and foxlike. Slightly evil. Slightly. If not evil, certainly superior and smarmy and dismissive.
Whoever/whatever controlled the lighting got a great capture of the limited green in my eyes, though. I don't think I have any others with my eyes looking that green. I must admit, I quite like this photo, as a person who takes almost uniformly bad pics. Plus, I look so Italian. Look at that unplucked semi unibrow! Sweet!
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y12/antisnark/Vball.jpg

I want to see the hippie dress pic! The light was really nice in the first photo, and it did nicely capture you eyes. Very Pretty, and you are right, it does look as if you are thinking an evil thought. Perhaps the photog was wearing a double-knit suit, or had said something cheezy?
