I don't know what posessed me to drink that much, but I spent $80 on I don't know what. Surely to hell I didn't drink it away....
LMAO.
I had a little too much tequila last night myself. My buddy and I went out to place near my house, and had 0h, I don't know....6 or 7 rounds. Thank God for vitamins and aspirin. A fistful of those and two glasses of water before bed and I feel pretty zippy today.

Thanks. :xoxo: I'm 50/50 whether to go back or not. All the points you make are really good, but there's something else to consider. A really nice guy might not want to get involved with me. If he's nice and I have a past..:( My bf is definitely not perfect, but he is the only one that knows everything about me and everything I've done and still wants me. I'm not sure the really nice variety of guy would. I will take care of myself, though. I have worked really hard to clean up and get my **** together for the first time in my life, so I don't want to be tempted to go back.
I'm sorry you're in a bad situation. :( If it's not too personal for me to ask, are you going to try to get out of the bad marriage? I hope you can.
don't sell yourself short---there are good guys out there that will like you for you--they are not exactly always easy to find--but they are there.
Even though hubby is a jerk-I am not a guy basher--all are NOT alike. It has been an enlightening year for me--turned 40 in December and have decided I will not be spending the next 40 years in this manner. ;) I finally figured out it wasn't me that was the problem--it is HIM. I have stopped blaming myself because life is too precious to keep wasting it on regretting the past. I will keep good thoughts for you

Take two aspirin, have a little something to eat and drink some pop. It'll help settle your stomach.
I was going to take it last night before I went to bed. But I just hurried up and layed down. I had 2 asprin and a little breakfast, and about an hour later I was fine.

I'm waiting for one more Live 8 performance that I missed and then I am going to bed.
I'm still pissed I missed Duran Duran.

Thank you. I'll keep good thoughts for you, too. I'm glad you are going to try to get out of your situation. You're right that life is too short to be with someone who doesn't make you happy. I'm not a guy basher either, but some are better than others (same with girls) and I hope both of us find the best! I still might go back to mine. Not sure yet. Thanks for the thoughts.
Now, I have to vent a little. Not so much vent, but just blab. My dad is probably not going to be around much longer and my mom and I are leaving to go visit him on Wednesday. I'm not really close to him. I haven't seen him in about 10 years. But, my mom feels he should see me one last time. I don't know how to feel about it. I should love him because he's my dad, but he didn't love me and I know he couldn't care less about seeing me now. It's my mom who cares. So, I feel guilty for not wanting to see him more. I wish I wanted to. I don't want him to pass on, but I don't want him to be forced into seeing me or me into seeing him. I almost feel bad for him because I know he's probably not looking forward to the visit any more than I am. :distress:
Also, I quit my job yesterday. I hated that job. I figured that when we got back from seeing my dad I could find one I liked more or maybe try to get into school. I went to pick up my last check today and it was such a relief. Ok, that's enough venting.

I can sympathize, haven't seen my dad for over ten years either (apart from a 'run-in' on a funeral.. see story in feuds-thread). I can so understand you don't have any of those family-feelings for him, that's how I feel too.
But I'd go there if I were you. Even if only biological, he's your father and this is the last chance. What if in another ten years time you wish you had gone there? Well, I bet you know those arguments already, they're almost cliché, eh. Whatever you do, wishing you well with your choice.
