IMMUNITY QUESTIONS

No correct answers yet. Please answer my immunity questions correctly. Questions 1 & 2 are now withdrawn. Several new questions have been added. Any question carried over to the next round is automatically worth TWO immunities.

1. On December 6, 1987, during the Fleetwood Mac concert at the Inglewood Forum, Stevie Nicks told the crowd, "I would like to fix that." To whom or what did "that" refer?

While introducing the two new members of the band, Stevie noticed that the outer fold of her skirt had gotten caught on the mic boom. She started saying, "I would like to . . ." -- & was going to continue with her band introduction -- but instead, after trying to work it free, yanked the skirt corner off the boom, saying, "I would like to fix THAT."

2. On October 2, 1983, during the Stevie Nicks concert at the Inglewood Forum, a stuffed cat was thrown onstage. What did Stevie do with the stuffed cat?

Stevie caught the cat, tried to prop it up on the drum riser, picked it up after it fell & then walked over to Sharon & propped it up on her neck, saying, "Cat unhurt. He's hanging out on Sharon's shoulder."

3. (worth two immunities) This longtime friend & associate worked with Fleetwood Mac as part of the crew on several tours & also provided studio assistance to the band on many occasions. He was known for years as "The Beaver." What is this person's real name?

4. On July 18, 1986, during the Stevie Nicks concert at the Inglewood Forum, to whom did Stevie dedicate "Beauty & the Beast" & what did that person do for a living?

5. On June 15, 1984, during the Christine McVie concert at Universal Amphitheatre, two other members of Fleetwood Mac entered from the side during the show & sat down in the first few rows. Name the song in the set during which they were seated.

6. On August 31, 1980, during a Fleetwood Mac concert at the Hollywood Bowl, Stevie Nicks made indirect reference to a song of hers while thanking the audience & saying goodnight. Which song did she reference?

7. What was the name of the label with which Buckingham Nicks first signed a deal, shortly after moving to L.A.?

8. What was the name of the manager of Fritz?

7. What was the name of the label with which Buckingham Nicks first signed a deal, shortly after moving to L.A.?

8. What was the name of the manager of Fritz?

5. Just a wild guess... They were seated during "Love Will Show Us How"

7. A trick question I suppose but I'll say it anyway: Polydor Records

8. David Forest (straight from Javier Pacheco's Q&A)

I think I got #8 right... Immunity to Stevie Nicks

Really David, et tu, a Chiffonhead?Absolutely!! If the chiffon is being worn between 1975 & 1986!! I fell asleep at a Fleetwood Mac concert in 1987 & haven't awakened since.
Not really "FM" trivia questions..... :shocked:Posh-&-poppycock! These are all related -- however indirectly -- to our beloved Fleetwood Mac. However, I will try to think of some questions about other members or about the band in general for the next round.

I was going to ask, "What article of clothing from the old days did Stevie bring out for her performance on June 29, 1986, at Pacific Amphitheatre at the Fairgrounds?" But I won't. I will ask good, solid, legit questions. But they won't be easy! That would be too easy & as far as I'm concerned none of these ROCK people should be immune. Rock is kiddy music, as Tom Lehrer said long ago.

3. (worth two immunities) This longtime friend & associate worked with Fleetwood Mac as part of the crew on several tours & also provided studio assistance to the band on many occasions. He was known for years as "The Beaver." What is this person's real name?
Robbie Patton

4. On July 18, 1986, during the Stevie Nicks concert at the Inglewood Forum, to whom did Stevie dedicate "Beauty & the Beast" & what did that person do for a living?
Play drums for Fleetwood Mac?

6. On August 31, 1980, during a Fleetwood Mac concert at the Hollywood Bowl, Stevie Nicks made indirect reference to a song of hers while thanking the audience & saying goodnight. Which song did she reference? "Silver Springs" Saying I'll follow you down till the sound of my voice haunts you.

7. What was the name of the label with which Buckingham Nicks first signed a deal, shortly after moving to L.A.? Anthem

I still don't get it. If I went to a boxing match, I'd prefer to see Lennox Lewis up against Mike Tyson, for example, than challenging some lightweight. I want to see the heavyweights go up against each other. Now that's where the fun is.

I'd save this but I won't be around tomorrow, so I'll answer it now. They signed originally to Dave Swaney Productions. Now, since someone else has gotten the question for immunity this round, I'll use my immunity for the next round. I give immunity to Billy Burnette (I don't think he's going to get voted off this time). If he does or if you choose to grant this two immunities because at that point it will be a previously asked question, I will add immunity for Bob Welch.

Happy 4th of July guys!

P.S. My vote this round is for Bob Weston.

Yeah, in his FIRST Q&A back when he was suing them for lost royalty money. Money THEY owed him. I don't think most would have had glowing things to say about people they feel were screwing them out of money that was earned. In any event, they've settled, and Bob is back on good footing with everybody.

My vote for this round goes to Bob Weston. As much as I love what he did with the Mac, and as much as I like his recent solo CD, I think everybody else on the list had much more significant contributions to the band.
