oh so you are thinking while on stage with waddy and lindsey she was watching lindsey and was happy she had waddy beside her?

Yes, because much like Lindsey, Waddy knew her before she became superstar Stevie Nicks. I think she finds a lot of comfort in that.

Waddy was around during alot of the relationship breakdown too.
Waddy tells the story about walking in to his back room and finding her crying and she sings him part of the new songs she had written, Landslide...the song she wrote about Lindsey.
IMHO, back in the early seventies was when Lindsey was extremely controlling and Waddy was there. Interestingly, Waddy and LB are still very close as well.

The written word is not the spoken word. Context, time, place are all left to assumption unless you were there when she said this. If you think about all the things Stevie says as being non-sequiturs and stream of conscience...the way she talks...it's not hard to see what she's getting at. This is not about one time or one place or one situation. She is talking about an overall emotion of things that have played out in her life. Waddy being on stage with her as a solo is part of this, but it's not the point of that passage...imo.

That works.

I guess when it comes to reading Stevie I read her from a viewpoint that assumes a certain volume of information acquired across a long period of time. Everyone has come across their info differently and at different times. Many assumptions can be valid. I try to apply Ackham's Razor to most things I make assumptions about. Problem with that is nothing with Stevie is simple or obvious unless, like me, you think Stevie has been hiding in plain sight all along.

Speaking of everyone getting rid of I need to know...I don't think you want to wish that to go away...she sang it pretty much like red rocks where she throws out her hands and she yelled out "WELLITHINKYOUSHOULDKNOW!!!!"

It was good...
She screamed out the take your violet and blue (but it only came onto the mic at) mornings with you!

Waddy talks a bit about the Stones and wanting to be a real rocker right here. It will not let me copy and paste but if you go down to almost the end you will see what I mean. Waddy did not want anything to to with 'velvet fountains" he was a Street Fighting Man.

She did have boots on last night for Rock and Roll and BATB.......When she walked off the stage during BATB I saw them from the back--you could also see that she still had her pants on under her BATB robe :) As for pix........well they didn't check anyone which was cool. I was so worried about that because someone posted about metal detectors-didn't see any...... I wish I would have known because I would have brought more than one camera with me. Okay--about my camera--I must have taken over 200 pix in the last week to figure the darn thing out (special scene modes, focus lock, etc. etc.) and my photos still didn't turn out the best :( I'm about ready to throw the darn thing against the wall!! Okay--so it might be my fault because I was so excited and nervous and they seemed to be letting everyone take photos--I was just in Heaven!! I probably was shaky and I know I forgot to the focus lock thingy :( :( Digitals cameras are just too complicated--whatever happened to press the button and go!! But I've got the settings down pretty good so I don't know really what I did wrong. I know I forgot to zoom--which my husband was like--Ummmm--zoom in a little!! So when I did that they turned out a little nicer......I swear she knew when I was going to take a photo though--because she either moved, turned away, or closed her eyes.......I have a few that are like--okay--that would have been awesome if her darn eyes were open!!! Well during HAEWAFY I believe--security starting yelling at people--we got told to put them away!! So chicken me didn't even try again after that--so long story short--I missed the pants (AGAIN!!), I missed Edge (but I did get to shake her hand again and my friend next to me gave her a bracelet which she grabbed so fast and slipped on her wrist!! ha ha), and I also missed BATB (AGAIN!!!) I'm beginning to think I should just hang it up and forget about pictures--seriously!! I just get so stressed out about it all and I get so upset when they turn out like crap!! And I am seriously looking into buying that other camera again that I mentioned that I took back a while ago...... I guess I'm lucky I got at least a couple nice shots.........I'm going to try and post them again if I can figure out how..... My friend Shel helped me last time but this time I have 34 pix so I don't know if she will help me again!! I'll figure something out though...... And Sorcerer should definitely STAY!! I'm sorry--but I just LOVE that song--that and the pants were probably the highlight of my night--oh and also Circle Dance--although I was waiting for someone to harmonize with her ala Henley......... :)

Thanks for the review. I couldn't go through all the pages, but I just had to comment on the digital camera thing. I had the same kind of trouble when I went to the Henley/Nicks show in Philly, only I was too far away probably. I've been trying to get some tips on taking digital pictures at concerts, so if anyone has any tips, please feel free to post. For instance, they say that you shouldn't have flash on because you wind up taken pictures of the backs of people's heads. (This was me.) But the problem with this is you have to keep the camera steady or the pic will blur. And you can't use a tripod at a concert. They say to try to steady the camera against yourself using your elbows or look in the viewfinder as this will steady the camera more. I, too, have a lot of modes & settings on my camera that are driving me crazy to learn. I have a concert coming up this Thursday & I want to take some good pictures. So I've been practicing on my dog in the house with the different settings  Luckily he doesn't mind getting his picture taken.

 That is soooo funny!! Actually the photos I took last night I did use flash and I had way better results than last time.... I just can't keep the camera still without the flash..... we were in the first row so heads weren't an issue..... On the other hand--me forgetting to zoom in on the first like 10 pix was an issue :( I got a kick out of your post though because I practiced like crazy on my cats this week!! Unfortunately my cats don't move as fast as Stevie  And the thing that really ticked me off is that I couldn't take a blurry picture at home using the automatic mode--yet they were still blurry at the show--I don't get it...... unless its because I was so excited like I said and forgot about the focus lock :( So that would be my one little tip--don't forgot about the focus lock!!! But when you are trying to hide a camera it is hard to be able to just take your time.......and when it comes to Stevie and front row my brain just kind of went numb--seriously!! I knew that camera like the back of my hand but I almost forgot how to turn the darn thing on when I actually got there!! And then I was just clicking away--so slow down and think a little bit about what you are doing!! ha ha Of course then you miss half the shots like I did. And you know--I was all ready for the Stand Back kick--had her on the LCD screen--was ready to click and then--ARGHHHH!!! She moved out of my frame :( So I missed it!! Stevie actually moves around a lot--very figgety like--but she was beautiful last night :)

Thanks. I've read that interview before and it just solidifies in my mind what I think she was talking about in that passage everyone uses to prove she and Waddy had a romance. If everything Waddy says in that interview is as sincere as I think it is, then I have no dobut about Waddy's place in Stevie's world. He's been around a long time and I think he's a very loyal and supportive friend. The part where he talks about quitting BN and wanting to play real rock n roll (Stones and stuff) not the velvet fountain ****...that is very meaningful. He goes on to say how he tried to talk somebody else into joining him in that pursuit (somebody who shared similar musical tastes and a desire to play real rock and not chick rock... hmmm? ) but he was not able to convince that player to leave with him. Yes, I'd say this interview with Waddy reveals a lot about his relationship with Stevie. It reveals a lot about what being on stage with her in her solo career has meant to her.

Where did he say that? He said that it bothered "him" meaning Waddy It did not seem to bother a certain other guy. Waddy was the Stones lover and real rocker and what would be the big deal if Stevie did ever love Waddy?

Yes, sometimes it just makes me want to use my automatic 35 mm camera with 800 speed film. You can get anybody racing around the stage with this. I've really been seriously thinking about bringing it with me for the show Thursday as a back up. I don't think this venue has any kind of restrictions on camera usage because I used the 35 mm camera at this venue when Blondie was there & the pictures came out great. Of course it helped that I was close, too.

Thanks for the tip about the focus lock. I have practiced with this, too. You know what they say, practice makes perfect.

Hey, I agree, but how does that passage we were originally talking about prove your equation? Where was that taken from and what is the context, time frame, and surrounding information? That was not a statement made out of the blue. Do either of you know the rest of the equation? Like I pointed out before, the spoken word and the written word are different. Putting up some words out of context to prove something you believe but don't know the full picture of, does not make a balanced equation. If you can show me the rest of where you took those words from, I would agree it all adds up if the context is supportive. I like to be properly informed so I'd like to stand corrected if the supporting details show she was talking directly and totally about Waddy there. When I re-read Waddy's interview here from the link that was provided, it did not change my view. I looked at the entire context of his interview and came away with a the same opinion I had about Stevie and Waddy and some of the other people he talked about. If you can give me a link and I can read the context of that other passage we were discussing, maybe that would bring me around.

Seems this is not just simple math but more like solving equations using unknowns. Algebra and simple addition are not the same operation.

You got me? I have no idea what passage you are even talking about now? All that I was saying was that in her liner notes for "If Anyone Falls" she talks about someone who fits Waddy's description. If we are not talking about the same thing I am sorry. I don't care if Stevie was in love with or not in love Waddy. It is just that it seems to fit Waddy to a T.

Hey Tiff!! Well you won't be too impressed with my pix I'm afraid--I've seen yours!! LOL!! No comparing....... If Stevie would have opened her eyes on a few more I would have been happier!! :p As for the bracelet--I didn't see it up close, but Stevie wore it for the rest of Edge...it was one of those really sparkly crystal bracelets and she told me it had "s" es on it somehow......like the design....the crystals were shaped in "s" es........she was SOOOOO thrilled that she took it though!! LOL!! She kept going--Stevie is wearing my bracelet :) It was cool!! You know its funny because I have a crystal bracelet with flower shapes on it and I swear Stevie looked at it at one of the SYW shows and she also looked at it last night....so I thought that was really funny when my friend pulled that bracelet out!! Okay--don't laugh too hard--but it was during when she was also shaking my hand--and I actually looked at my own wrist because I was like--where did she get that bracelet from!! ha ha Okay--I KNOW Stevie wouldn't rip off my bracelet--but I was thinking--did mine fall off somehow?? Yeah I'm an idiot!! And then my friend told me that she had given it to her........ I really wanted to give her something too but I can never think of anything......... I was actually going to get her a moon pendant like one that I bought myself in the past--but when I went to look for it it was gone........and I don't even know if she would have taken it or not......

I'm so happy she's covering a Led Zeppelin song, her artistic vitality keeps surprising me and makes me glad she's having so much fun doing what she loves.

About the Waddy enigma, it seems more to me she's saying something cute to all the band members she feels like family but you never know. By the way, among the three I hope it's Brett, he's way cuter.

She names Waddy in this paragraph but are you reading what she's actually saying? I read those same words and I don't see her talking about Waddy except for the part where she names him. I guess it depends on what you know about everything else in the mix as to how you interpret this.

It's not really that. I think she gives a description of this "lover" and, and on into the description discusses being on stage with him and all and then says his name "WADDY"... Why would she be describing someone else all this time, and then all of a sudden mention Waddy.... it's like her saying "oh yes I loved Lindsey, I loved watching him on stage every night..he was so frail, yet so strong...when Waddy was with me it was incredible.. " It makes no sense

beauty and the beast is about LINDSEY

and when stevie was talking about waddy on the if anyone falls liner notes she really was hoping you really realized she was talking about LINDSEY!

duh!

And when she says she went out with Don..she means LINDSEY...and OF COURSE Gypsy is about LINDSEY...oh yeah he wrote the lyrics to Gypsy too, didnt you know that? He should get full songwriters credit for all of Stevie's words..even though he wrote none of them..

Maybe Stevie was a virgin until she met Lindsey..and she has never been with another man since!!!'

Where did anyone say that Lindsey should get full songwriting credit for Gypsy? I remember people pointing out that she shares credits for songs with other people and Lindsey played a big part in helping her with Gypsy. Some feel maybe he deserves partial credit, like Shanks, Cambell, Sandy Stewart, etc etc etc etc have with a variety of her songs. Believe what you want about BatB but give the man some credit for helping her with Gypsy ....even Stevie knows he did.

Chris

My original point was that Stevie was not talking about Waddy directly in that passage. I never said she was talking about anyone else in particular. She doesn't mention anyone but Waddy by name, but to my reading, she is reflecting on a situation that involves someone and maybe it is Waddy but that is not what I read. She brings up Waddy's name in a side context near the end of that passage. If you believe by doing so, she's saying Waddy was once her lover, OK by me. Maybe he was? If the only reason to believe it is because of the Timespace liner notes, then I see it as a very thin argument. jmho. When reading things like that from Stevie I take into consideration the timeframe and remember what she was like, as well as what she was going through when Timespace was issued. To me, not everything is clear in black and white especially when it comes to Stevie. People see things differently. How can it be argued otherwise as with those who currently think she's doing Waddy now, and everyone else in the band, just because she's being openly flirty on stage during this tour as she was last night? Everyone's got a different take on these things. I look at the big picture not just selected details. The devils in the details, so who knows? ;)

I totally agree but the completely sarcastic misrepresentation of a past thread annoys me. No one said he deserved a full credit but that is how it keeps getting repeated. I don't think Linds cares, so neither do I but he really did wonders for that particular song, IMHO.

As for the rest of this thread?? JOE WALSH was at the show tonight and gasp, Stevie dedicated HAEWAFY to him. She is doing him now right? He has ditched his wife and two boys and is shacking up with La Nicks I assume. Or better yet, how about I completely disrespect Stevie and accuse her of flaunting her illicit relationship with a HAPPILY married man for the world to see. The theories around here about Stevie and Lindsey aren't the ones that are wacked. At least the people with those theories show some level of respect to other posters and don't pepper every single freaking post with immature sarcasm and a mocking tone.

:wavey:

OK, so you think that she is talking about someone else before she mentions WADDY. So talks about this mystery man who she says: I adored him...he was everything I wanted to be: a real rock and roller ... and a lover of the Stones...small and frail sometimes, but in many ways the strongest person I had ever known. His word was law. I became him ... he became me, and no one dared intrude upon this union. He is no longer with me, but his spirit twin never leaves him. is not Waddy but a fake character that Stevie just made up. It certainly does not fit any member of The Mac so we can rule that out right there.
Oh maybe it was Joe Walsh!! He and Waddy are friends, too He certainly is a real rocker, too but I am not too sure about the Stones lover. He might be strong due to his daughter’s death. The other thing that does not make sense is that Stevie was not involved with him till after she wrote this song. I wonder if it might be one of her premonition songs. It really does seem to fit him oddly enough because she did fall hard for him but he did not feel the same way.
It still seems odd that she would mention Waddy's name when she might be talking about Joe or someone else.

Can I ask some questions? I'm fairly new to all this. Not new to my love of Stevie or FM :xoxo: , but new to some of these theories. I have my opinions about that passage that Stevie wrote and I do think she wrote it about Waddy for the reasons that everyone else listed above. One of my questions is: why do people think Stevie is dating/sleeping with or in love with Lindsey? I'm not sure who thinks it and who doesn't but after reading all 21 pages of this thread, I think I know who might think he is and who definitely doesn't. I really don't know who Stevie is with and I suspect Waddy, but he is married. So, I don't know. Joe is also married. The people that I *think* think she's in some sort of a thing with Lindsey seem to feel Stevie wouldn't be with a married man, but Lindsey's married. So, this is confusing. Can someone please fill me in.

People who believe that Lindsey and Stevie are in love are called 'Shippers" and I am not really qualified to describe them so maybe someone else can.

I really have no idea who Stevie is with if she is with anyone. I don't care. I know that some people think that Stevie and Lindsey had an affair during The Dance. OK I don't know if that is true or not nor do I care. Then there are a few people who still think that they are together and always have been. Do I care? NO. Do I think that they have their opinion? YES.
However, when saying that everything that Stevie has ever done or written about in the long run goes back to Lindsey then I have a bit of a problem with that one. A few people in the Stevie world seem to think that Ms. Nicks has only ever really loved Mr. Buckingham and never anyone else.
It really is hard for some people to believe that Stevie could love, Mick or Waddy or Joe Walsh, etc. I don't know why this is but if she said that she loved Lindsey they certainly would not question it.
Like I said, I have no idea who she loves but to always focus on Lindsey as her one and only love seems a bit odd to me.
I still think that she loves Joe Walsh.

Hmm. Well, Stevie herself has said that Joe was the man who broke her heart, so I'd say she loved or loves him. I also believe she loved Mick and Waddy and both were very deep loves. She's said so and written about it, either in passages (like the one above) or in songs. BATB is about Mick. The liner notes are one thing, but she kept saying his name before performing the song at several shows this year. Why would she do that or make that connection if the song weren't about or for Mick? Just because she likes the sound of his name and conveniently likes to say it right before that song? I also don't know who she's with and only care or am interested because I'm interested in everything she does, not just her romantic life. But I would say that she loved Lindsey at one time and I'm sure still loves him in some way, but not in a romantic way. And I have my reasons but I'm 99.9% sure he's not with her. If Lindsey is spending his time with someone behind closed doors, it's not Stevie.

On edit: I'm still , but thanks for answering my questions. :D

Ok..you dropped the hint so why are you 99.9 percent sure Lindsey isn't with Stevie? Do you know what else is going on in his life right now too? Isn't he spending his time behind closed doors with his "wife"? How about what Stevie is up to unrelated to this tour? I could care less who she is with as long as she is happy. The idea she loved Waddy so deeply in any romantic way seems out there to me though. She said Micks name before BaTB TWICE this year, both show he was at. So that is proof of nothing really. (oh except that Stevie does think of him occassionally when performing the song and has a deep love for him) Do you really think people have just pulled this opinion out of their ass or perhaps they are basing it on some things unrelated to her two quotes on the song? You know what, nevermind.

Other men..of course she has loved other men. I told ya'll Joe was at the show last night. I am sure that means something romantic. It can't just be an old love, whom sh e has remained friends with. In the last two weeks, Stevie has been shagging Don, Waddy, Mick and Chris Issack. If some people want to believe she is hitting LB too, who gives a crap?

Shipper is a derogatory term labelling those who think SnL have some unfinished business. I don't give a rats ass but I can see the obvious. I haven't heard any new love songs about Waddy. None about Mick. None about Don. None about Joe. I am 99.9 percent sure there are huge things going on right now, that many of you know you are fully aware of but are unwilling to rock the boat. The same arguments bear repeating. Stevie made many demos of Gypsy, some quite polished (see the recently surfaced master reels). And especially, the song was recorded with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers during the Bella Donna sessions PRIOR to the recording of the Mirage album (again the master reels). The "TP Gypsy" certainly isn't that different from the "FM Gypsy". So what is this "big part in helping her" that Lindsey supposedly played?

Ka ching!

So much for retiring blissfully to Arizona!

Sidenote......whether SnL are together or not does not make BaTB about Mick either. Stevie has fudged about her lyrics before...is it so hard to believe she could possibly be doing it about BaTB? Personally, IMHO..the song is relevant to her right now because of her father, not some supposed long lost love connection to Mick Fleetwood. The lyrics are particularly profound right now, I would imagine and I am sure Mick is not what is on her mind when she is singing it.

He got credit as producer my dear. Seeing as the song was completed before he got his hands on it, his part in shaping Gypsy was simply that, production. I'm not sure why he should get a songwriting credit for that

yeah because stevie and lindsey being together now means that every song stevie has sung in the past is about lindsey and everything she has said in the past is about lindsey!

As I said before, Mike Chapman didn't get a credit for turning Heart Of Glass from a reggae song to a disco tune.

That was genius. It had such a bite to it to begin with, but discofying it really turned it into something else. I'd die for more demos to surface so that we could hear all the changes they made for the final versions. Out In the Streets isn't too different, but the ones I've heard from Curse are quite different just like HOG.

What's with everyone mischaracterizing what other people say by misrepresenting prior posts in their replies?

Fake character? I didn't say Stevie talked about a fake character. I said she is not talking only about Waddy in that description. My point again, and this seems to keep getting lost in the mad rush to denounce any hint Stevie could be talking about Lindsey (which I've never said she was), was to illustrate how misconceptions occur and myths are repeated in the fanlore because Stevie talks in non-sequiturs and rambles on in a stream of consciousness manner. Things she says appear one way in print, but sound differently if you hear her talk. You don't have to agree. Everything's up to interpretation. When I read or think of that line the way Stevie actually talks, I see she is not talking about Waddy being an ex-lover. If you think he is her ex, it's OK by me. I'm not going to insult you by mischaracterizing what you posted.

How this one point got turned into another argument about whether something she said might be about Lindsey is lost on me. Not that you've done that in this post above, but the thread now has posts going off in that direction. Posts about shippers and the comments about Stevie being in a relationship with Lindsey now, should not be related to me by implication just because I offered my view that Stevie is not saying she had a romance with Waddy. How does that become another case of everyone saying Stevie only loved Lindsey and everything is always about Lindsey?

I find it curious the people who most often post the words, Stevie only ever loved Lindsey, everything is always about Lindsey, are the fans who don't believe it, not the people who do. I find it equally curious that more posters denounce the idea of her having any connection to him now than to anyone else who could be a possibility, despite what someone else said about her admittedly still writing songs about him. What's with that? I don't give a rats ass who Stevie writes about or who she is doing after the show. I would offer this. If she were currently in a relationship with him, would that tarnish any views or illusions fans have about Stevie, or would it change your devotion to her music, or his for that matter? Maybe it's just me, but I get the impression fans have strongly held beliefs on this topic out of fear their illusions would be shattered if Stevie admitted she has a muse and he is it.

People seem to think Stevie's songs need defending if she somehow still loves him or is in a relationship with him. It's like a crusade. A lot of her devoted fans want to staunchly defend Stevie's artistic license to the point of insisting her body of solo work is practically a Lindsey-free zone. Maybe it's just me, but I seem to read more posts holding the line...Stevie is over him and doesn't always write about him...than I do about fans thinking she writes about him often or on every album. Ironically, the way people mischaracterize other people's posts can make you think it's the other way around. Isn't that weird.

(or out of respect for Stevie)

Why are you jumping on me? You sound very pissed off and I didn't say anything against you. I don't know what's going on in Lindsey's or Stevie's life, but I'd say he's spending his time behind closed doors with his wife. I don't even understand why some peeps seem to feel she couldn't have loved Waddy in a deep way. Because he's not *hot*? That's pretty f*cking shallow and I think Stevie has more class than that. She sighs Mick's name before BATB. Obviously she relates that song to him, otherwise she'd be sighing it before another song or not at all. Not to mention, she f*cking said it was for him! I don't know if she's in love with either one of those men. Joe's split now from his wife and he was at the show last night, but I doubt that has anything to do with Stevie. Why don't other peeps that say they read the board everyday know that Stevie bought a house in Malibu? I think you're dropping hints, not me. But, do you know how many people there are in Los Angeles? Why would him selling his house have anything to do with her buying one? On the other forum, it says that he bought the new house with his wife. I'm thinking she bought a house in Malibu because she's in LA a lot for business reasons. I don't know why he sold his, but I don't think it's safe to automatically assume it's because he and Stevie are hooking up. For the record, I wouldn't be opposed to them hooking up. I just don't think they are. But if you're going to drop hints, just come right out and say it. Other people might be interested.

On edit: Somebody said he sold his house for a big loss. According to the other forum, his realtors said he sold it for close to the asking price of 21 million.

Stevie has given songwriter credit on occasion to people who have influenced her writing of a song-- for example Hernan Rojas, my assistant engineer, and for a while, Stevie's lover, during Tusk. By the way, he'll be here next week visiting.

It's one thing to have "thoughts" on her relationships based on her songs and things she says publicly, but it's a totally different thing for some people to act as if they're "in the know" about her relationships. I'm not saying that has happened in this thread, but it has in the past and I find it silly because no one does know much of anything in the end.

Yes, my friend. Seems true. Why is it such a big deal for someone to point out Stevie's statements can be interpreted differently without the thread being reduced to arguments about her relationships? You know from our go-rounds, I have no strong opinions about her relationships as such. I do have strong opinions on the way people interpret what she says in interviews, songs, and the TIMESPACE LINER NOTES. Hey, I'm bored. Hurry and toss me a quote I can pick apart. :D

Nobody's ever accused me of being a shipper. I post pro and con on all the Stevie romances, no matter who we're discussing, but sometimes, I find myself defending the shipper opinion because every time a comment is made about quotes on relationships, non-shippers want to start posting about how everything is not about Lindsey. Who said it was?

I try to keep the discussions open and generic, but some people always want to circle the wagons. I don't know why? As for the tone of the posts, I guess there is sarcasm and rudeness all around because it makes for more entertaining reading. I do it too. My mistake in trying to make my original point was trying to point out the nonsequitur stream of consciousness mode of Stevies words sometimes, and that was a big mistake. For those who think she had an affair with Waddy only because of that one thing in the liner notes, what I simply should have said is...don't you know how to read? :p :D

As for the accusations, we don't need your misconstruing accounts to come to those conclusions, your regular posts will suffice.

Apparently, people are touchy. However, clearly in posting insults on this thread, those that are anti "shipper" have something invested in this. That just smacks of hypocricy.

I know that you were not talkin to me. Sorry, I did not mean it to come out like that. :sorry:

Yeah, this is taken from Ken Caillat's Q and A here on The Penguin:

Stevie has given songwriter credit on occasion to people who have influenced her writing of a song-- for example Hernan Rojas, my assistant engineer, and for a while, Stevie's lover, during Tusk. By the way, he'll be here next week visiting.

To the poster who was excoriated for saying LB should get a few nods from La Nicks for what he did as a producer and/or writing partner for her in BN and FM...does this news make any difference? Stevie gives songwriter credit on occasion to people who have influenced her writing of a song? Hmmm. I guess changing or criticizing her songs does not equal influencing if you are LB. Lover or no lover. ;)

Well that would defeat the entire purpose of wishing to respect privacy. Also, private messaging is not private, if you're respecting these people's privacy you will not spread rumours via private means either, it's as good as putting it on a message board.

To lagringader&r, why are you talking about me as if I'm not right here? Do you think I was just harsh about privacy for the heck of it? You can be a very nice, trustworthy person but I had to make myself clear precisely because of threads like this. In any case, you seem to want to warrant the necessity for my clarity. Well...I'll tell ya.....I am new to posting here but have been around other boards and have gotten flame broiled for being honest about certain things that I really should have stayed quiet about. As I wrote a while back, I've been a fan, collector and charter member BOTB (had to throw that in) since '78. I guess most of us....who want to find out about the dirt, have been able to and we just have to decide what we want to believe and what we think is bogus. I think part of the fun about being a fan is bringing up the stories and rumours about Stevie and the very wild life she has had....and continues to have. Sure, someone will always get upset and tell you that it's none of our business and we should stick to topics like what songs should Stevie sing on her next tour.....but that would make these boards mighty damn dull if you ask me.......and nobody did. But there it is anyway. Bill

As you wish, dear. Daddy Strandie has already promised me my own wing. I plan to make use of the pool house only when I need to show the nice pool boy where the pools things are kept. :woohoo:

We're hiring Johnny Stew?

Strand has some specific educational requirements.

I am going to have to conduct some in depth interviews of those with qualified training backgrounds.

I remember when I was younger my mom had one of those macrame owls......with the big wood beads for eyes and a tree twig for its branch  I guess I'm telling my age now  How did this thread go from show spoiler, to Stevie lovers, to a fight about I don't know what--couldn't really keep track, to house plans!!   You guys and gals really crack me up!!

My sister did. With a ton of brown beads all over it

My best friend's mother was the QUEEN of macrame in the 70's and made, get this, an enormous macrame wine rack. That thing takes up an entire wall. It lives in the basement, and is still in use. I kid you not, that beast is 7 feet tall, and about 10 feet long. She refuses to get rid of it because it took her almost a year to make the damned thing.

So, but, I don't have those, but how should you hang your plants?
I can only take yarn in very small quantities.

This made me laugh so hard. I used to have a six footer that I had this huge viney plant in that I can't remember the name of now.
I was watching some movie that was made in the late 70's the other night and it had them all over it. Plants everywhere!

I have a couple of bamboo now and that's it. The cats consume anything else, including fresh flowers because naturally they think anything I bring into this house must be for them.

You may have to do a European tour - tasting sausage and slurping linguine throughout the former Roman Empire - of course, you will need a schnitzle in Barvaria and a hot strudel in upper Germany.

I must say I'm very disappointed there is no HSML in the set list...
You know I didn't even like this song for the longest time on the album until I heard a live boot and I fell in love and it has become one of my favorite Stevie songs. When she did it in Vegas it was the first song they let people rush to the stage for and I was standing directly in front of her at the stage looking into her eyes and the power of this song is so profound and it's so sexy aaaah I will never forget that moment. How she could keep Sorcerer and drop HSML is beyond me

I think she should drop them both do two songs of hers she has never done before.

Hey I'd be all for that! My first choice would be I Can't Wait of course (even though she's done it on one tour). Let's bring back Rooms too! That song is soooo powerful live. Ok something rare, I'm thinking OMBTRARS since we all know how much I love that song. Has she ever done Crystal live? (or within the last 20 years?)
