I'm kind of holding out for that ass kickin' Rhiannon reprisal.

I LOL! U2 did that at a show last week and played Vertigo during the opening few songs and at the end of the show

Thanks to Liquid Blue and Blinker for doing this

Someone over on the BN board posted that she had her LEG WARMERS on!!!

She started wearing those for the 3rd leg of the SYW tour, they're made of a chiffon like fabric and all shirred and "kinda" make the Reeboks look like tall boots because you can't see the short tops of the boots and it gives one continuous look, if that makes sense.

We are coming to England to get you and get you pissed on many pints and then we are gonna have a Come to Jesus, frank talk  with you about your apparent bad attitude toward Yanks ;) :p ;) The :woohoo: pints :woohoo: - of course, being the relevant part :]

Also, I am not slamming Jaime. I was just pointing out the reasoning behind the griping about the set list, which, again, I am glad she changed somewhat even though it was not as much as I thought she would  AND - I agree with jannieC that I am glad she is still performing.

Wow, lots of different comments about the show..While I really enjoy reading everything that is being written and understand the disappointment for some of the folks who were hoping for something really exciting and new,,(she did say she was gonna blow the fans away)I don;t understand where all the anger is coming from ,from some of the posters..I dont intend to step on anyones toes here..or offend ..as I am a newcomer to ledge..but a lifelong Stevie /FM fan..but please people..Everyone is entitled to a opinion ,good /bad..can;t we leave the anger out?? There is way to much anger in this world..and what is supposed to be exciting and fun ,I see turning into personal assualts..Although I have loved Stevie NIcks forever, and I am an oldie(not gonna tell my age) ,I am going to see her for the very first time in my life in june and am going to go with a open mind and carefree heart and just be thankful, that she is still performing and I am finally getting my chance to see her. I am sorry there is disappointment for the some who have never missed her before..I can understand where you are coming from..but at least you have those memories and stories to share with all us who never had the chance before..So thank you for sharing and I may I add I really enjoy this forum...Blessings... :xoxo:

As one of the few crazy Canucks on the board... I didn't take offense at all!

I knew you were just joshin', ya crazy Brit! :xoxo:

And like I said above, I adore Stevie. I love her music, and I always will. But I was really hoping that the people who made it to the show would get to see some new stuff. That's all. A lot of people shelled out a LOT of $$ for this. Now I'm going to go read their reviews....

You are SO right Pip! Lots of spoiled people around here..
~Jamie

God, lighten up!

I left Mick's board because of your attitude (and that of everyone else like you) and came here because there's some personality and humor.

If you're going to debate people, then argue fairly. Calling someone jealous because they don't like a setlist, and then trying to end the discussion by saying "chill" is what children do when they argue.

Stevie has opened herself up for criticism by talking about how this show was going to be really special and an opportunity for her to go back in the archives and find stuff she hasn't done live. There isn't one song in the list that she's never done before.

I can understand having to do Rhiannon, GDW, etc., but dragging out an encore of I Need To Know for the millionth time is just lame and not worthy of such a creative and talented woman.

I think it's a disappointing setlist and I'm kind of glad I wound up not going to Vegas since I can't afford it. Jealous? no Broke? yes

Still, I'm happy for everyone who is able to go and having a good time. Thanks to those who took the time to post the set list and reviews!

Dreams intro (not sure what he means by this???)

Enchanted -

Stop Draggin' My Heart Around - can't sing it anymore as evidence on TISL - drop it

Outside the Rain - played to death and not a hit - drop it - I mean doesn't she get that this song could easily be replaced with something she has never played before.

Dreams - I get why - but am still tired of it.

I mean with SB, Rhiannon, and GDW - we are not talking that many more songs.

Oh Well - so much for a great opportunity

jason - when you experience it you will not be so dismissive. I thought she did very well vocally. I will post a review later.

I'm a little surprised that some of us are complaining that Fall From Grace and Enchanted are over-played and should be removed from the setlist. I've been to every Stevie tour since The Wild Heart and I've only heard these songs played one time each. Enchanted may have been played sparingly during the WH tour but I only got to hear it at the tour promoting the Boxed Set and of course Fall From Grace at the TISL tour. I love both these songs and hope she never replaces them as they are uptempo and very different from each other.

There are plenty of others that could be dropped but like it's been said, she really caters to the casual fan as does the mac.

I personally am quite pleased with the set, but really only How Syill My Love lived up to the hype Stevie put up. Now the one song i have a HUGE problem with being on the set is LANDSLDE. WTF is it doing here. She made the right decision not doing it on the TISL tour, and I thought she figured out it can't be done without Lndsey. Kind of Woman could easliy have taken Landslides place.

I'm not exactly 'complaining', because she did pull out some songs she hasn't done in awhile, that I like (HSML, BATB, IAF). I think most of us were just really hoping for songs mentioned in various interviews too, (Talk To Me & The Highwayman), and hoping that she might pull off something she'd never done live before, like she did with Beautiful Child during the SYW tour.

I did hope she was doing TTM, but I believe she never promised Highwayman for THIS show. I think she was referring to doing that on the Don tour. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I know - I am just bummed that she did not branch out more like I thought she said she was going to do. But, I am excited she is performing.

AND - looking forward to your review young lady!!!!!!

Yeah Im with the person who was shocked people are complaining about Fall From Grace. After the TISL tour didn't many of us think she'd stop doing all those songs on future tour. And I thinks he's doing the two best ones *Sorcerer and FFG) Fall From Grace has been on ONE tour, it really is sort of a suprise, and its sucha rocking song for her.

And this is exactly why the set list is as it is.... until we can all club together and hire Stevie for a 'ledgie' gig... we have to put up with the usual songs!

Agreed. It's been played for the last two years straight. I don't want to hear the baritone rendition of SDMHA either. Two Tom Petty songs in the set of a prolific songwriter is one too many, IMO. It could easily have been replaced by Angel, Bella Donna or Rooms On Fire, which has a beautiful video to accompany it.

I agree with the same old same old comments. I hope she mixes it up for the northeast tour coming soon. Why Enchanted, cause it's the name of the box set? Get rid of Beauty and the Beast and HSML!!! Shake it up!!

Um, I wouldn't go getting your hopes up, this is Stevie, after all;) I'm hoping she doesn't drop anything she feels didn't work, that's more probable.

Well, I mean at least she is touring.

I would be pretty happy even if the set was "mediocore"

I guess we are all ready for Lindsey now

Hey if I was there I would be fine with the setlist...I loved the SYW set list every time I went..never bothered me...altho it contained some surprises..they pretty much just all stayed in place throughout....and I know some ppl wanted them to change it up night to night...

Anyway naive, I see you live in McDonough, GA...That's pretty cool I'm in Locust Grove, GA...a few mins away

I'm excited, too. But like u.......I am bummed. I was going to fly out and see it this weekend, but now I am not. She said she was doing something different, but it wasn't. I can wait until I drive to Pittsburgh to see it.

As evidenced by your avatar!

Whoever said that Kind of Woman would have been a good substitution for Landslide makes a good point imo. I have always loved this song.

Hey Travis! Where ya been hiding?? I hope the Capitol building hasn't swallowed you up whole!

Methinks the older Stevie gets, the more conservative she becomes... and when I hear that the Rolling Stones (a few years older!) are set to tour with that same high energy Jagger and the guys have always shown, makes me sad Ms nicks can't get excited and do something special for us.
On SYW, she just sounded bored and sang by rote rather than the passion she used to have (or maybe it was the botox?). To sit in an audience where people scream hysterically just because she twirled the roses on her mic stand makes me a little sad that expectations are so low for one of the major rock ladies of our time.
... and to think my one ambition when I came to America was to see Stevie and the Mac rock, only to find they've more in common with the Beach Men (with their orthopedic surfboards!) .. oh well....

For the most part I think Grace Slick was correct when she quipped "Old people have no place on a rock and roll stage".This is ceasing to be rock and roll.I can understand that younger fans may still want to see her that have not had the experience .As someone who has seen her on almost every tour with and without FM since the late 1970s I'm going to have to think long and hard about ever going to see her again in these current formats.I think she may still have something to say if she evers decides to make another record .but as for these interminable geezerfest cash grab shows I think I'm going to have to pack it in.

I thought BaTB was incredibly special. I have seen her on every tour since Wild Heart and honestly, I think that was the most powerful performance I have ever seen her give. Maybe not as "rocking" as the old Rhiannons or as "energetic" as Gold and Braid from BellaDonna but she certainly gave it 110 percent emotionally, vocally and theatrically. I was moved to tears, not something that is normal for me at concerts. She made a point to say to her fans that she "tried to do some different songs for us..even though she was scared to do so". I do get that some are disappointed with her choices but she did try to do something special. Some of us got it, others didn't. Sure, she could have changed her clothes more, but that would have required cutting a song to stay within her time limit. Sure she could have done more than three old songs and two songs from TISL. The reality is that no matter what songs she would have done, some would be disappointed because she cannot do everyones favorites. The songs she chose were the ones she wanted to do, perhaps they are her favorites. I accepted many years ago that Stevie likes to play it safe but she does deserve some praise for trying to branch out. Yes she talked in various interviews about doing more but she never said she was definately going to do anything. I am sure all the songs she mentioned, like TTM, were rehearsed and not chosen for a number of reasons. I am sure she considered wearing the boas and old hats but for whatever reason, decided against it. Her intentions were not to mislead or lie..she did prolly consider all these things.

I also noticed her limping...a few times...as she was walking offstage. One time it was particularly bad and I am convinced that either her hip is still hurting or she has something else wrong with a leg or back. Perhaps that is why she wore the Bocks and did not twirl or kick.

I am glad I went and do not feel like I was cheated or mislead in any way. I had no grand expectations and I accept she is not as active or daring as she once was. I do not think Stevie has too many touring years left so I will cherish every memory she has given me during these shows. I appreciate the fact she put three old songs in the set and gave it her all while performing them. I REALLY appreciate the fact she included Sorcerer and Fall From Grace. I love how she spent time going through the archival footage to pick out some of the old clips. The movie showing during BaTB was sheer perfection and added to the drama and raw emotion in the song. I love the fact that she chose to share some of her drawings with her fans...I have always enjoyed seeing her artwork. (Lindsey's too) There was alot to be greatful for and many little unique, special, touching moments throughout her show,.

Ahh, but she did kick, Kelly... at the end of Stand Back on wednesday night's show ;)

but i agree with you, i think she did have bigger and better intentions, but i guess she wasn't "comfortable" with doing those other things... i still think the stage could have been decorated a little bit nicer and she could have kept her water bottle backstage... but overall i'm not complaining :)
