Now, I have to stress "about" yourself...NOT something funny you've done or that's happened to you, etc. Don't be afraid to tell us about that third nipple. :)

I have two jobs. One is an office job where my title is Program Coordinator. Perfectly pleasant, run of the mill code for "Pee-on Supervisor". My other job is a construction job (involving new homes). My job title there? Butt Stripper.

How did you know? ;)

Ummmmmm....let's see. I have a dent in the top of my head. It's not huge or anything, about an inch in diameter (don't know how deep - I'm afraid to press down too hard!) You can't tell it's there unless I take your fingers & put them there (which I do occasionally to creep people out.) :D

I don't know what the deal is, but I've been told not to worry about it. So far my brain hasn't leaked out of my head, so I guess I'm OK...for now :(

I think I have a defective diaphragm -- sometimes I am literally unable to stop laughing. This bears no relation to the actual humor of the situation. I simply start laughing or giggling for whatever reason, and then my diaphragm starts to spasm and sends me into fits. Laughter hiccups, of a sort.

My friends love this, and are constantly trying to see if they can induce a laugh attack. Unfortunately, sometimes it gets a little scary because I laugh to the point that I can't breathe, gasping for air between guffaws, red-faced and lightheaded -- but this just makes everyone else laugh harder.

I've always secretly wished that this is how I die when my time comes -- in a true fit of hysterical laughter.

Did you know that in the 15th/16th centuries it was considered to be the devil or witches mark??? People were like burned at the stake for such a thing...(TOO sad :(

I was going to get a cookie-cutter blue butterfly on my left shoulder when I was 15years old.
In retrospect, I guess it was a "happy" accident that I ran out right before due to the fact
that I'm a "chicken sh*t"...

Yeah, that's best - Actually, I just got a butterfly on my leg about 3 months ago - I said i'd never just get a random stupid one that everyone gets, but there i was, with my friend, had a few cocktails, was walking down telegraph right by Berkeley campus (she was visiting from out of town) and i'm all "well, we could get tattoos, and i laughed, but she's like, "ok" then she wanted me to get one and she paid for it. I made up for the butterfly by making it REALLY PRETTY COLORS - plus, it was just a cosmetic tattoo anyways... :) but people shouldn't get tattoos when they're 15 anyway  ok, i have to cook some salmon i just noticed i'm starving.

Also, I could without hesitation or straining sing the Queen of the Night's aria from The Magic Flute in full soprano (albeit falsetto) until I was about 34-35 years old  Now - I can do it if I am loaded and cajole my voice into it (or if I am in some other compromised position - although then it is usually a rendition of SWEEEEEEEEEET MYSTERY OF LIFE AT LAST I HAVE FOUND YOU a la Madeline Kahn   ) and even then it does not sound that great - BUT in my youth . . . !!!!

Well, I can crack my knuckles really LOUDLY.

When I curl the toes on my left foot, the last two toes stay sticking up.

Also, even though I'm 38 and about 30 lbs overweight, I can STILL do a split! I'm pretty proud of that, actually.

No one can really see it unless I lean on them and kind of twitch them around, LOL. It's not a party trick I pull out often.

I am assuming the Madeline Kahn aria scenario has something to do with a different double joint, but I perhaps I should not assume....

Oh....another me too moment.

I am also missing teeth - two on top and two or four on the bottom! I was born without them as well.

You can't really tell on top - but my teeth are a bit spacey on the bottom - well the like bottome front ones have little spaces between them....crazy.

I was never told that it was unique though - but i was told that I wouldn't have to have my wisdom teeth removed because there'd be plenty of room for them - that turned out to be untrue as I got them removed last year....

I have a double jointed tongue. Seriously. I can roll it on it's side in either direction and I can do that thing where you roll up both sides so they meet. Yes, this ability has been a popular discovery with the opposite sex and that's all I'm gonna say about this particular physical oddity.

I also have a gap between my big toe and my second toe on both feet that you could park a truck between. I can pick things up with my feet too--that's comes in pretty handy, actually.

No way! you're tiny, and so horseback riding is the perfect sport for you! That's awesome! i always wished i knew horses better...You know what i'm stoked about right now? That you're in Cali, and you're awake! You went to Davis? my best friend went there. I played volleyball for Cosumnes River college (jr. college) in Elk Grove. I'm from Placerville.
That sucks when you find the greatest shoes, but you can't find them in your size. Believe me, a lot more people wear an 8, than a 5. They're just usually taller than me  You are soooo Stevie right now :) I can't believe you have to try to get a date... maybe if you were Asian  just kidding. But, really, there are a lot of guys 'round here with an Asian fetish  and i swear most guys i know would love a small, cute girl...but with my big,(not that big) muscly butt and thighs, I get a whole different demographic hitting on me here in oakland/berkeley! Isn't life intersting?
P.S. i love Steve Madden shoes *giggle*

Oh my I think we've turned this in to our personal thread:) Yeah I'm in CA, and yeah I'm an Davis grad:) Cool that your friend went there. I'm usually awake at this hour, it's the college student in me, rock stars are not the only ones who pull 16hr days  I'm not asian so that's why ppl think I'm so young, my friend who is asian has no probs, of course I'm sure her Anne Taylor style helps. Steve Madden does have the best shoes, and i adore his "Stevie's" (kids shoes, sad I know) esp since they fit!
You should totally try horse-back riding, it is an awsome sport, I do english stlye and the jumping etc. But the way your built it would be a great sport for you since muscluar legs are a huge asset, believe me I would sometimes wish I had bigger thighs so I could "kick harder then a fly bites":D Oh and don't worry about being "too old to start" or some such nonsense my mom started when she was 45, and is still riding!
As for the guys, well it's more a thing of getting them to hang out after I start talking you know that line "yes I was outspoken" well it's a rather perfect fit for me  Oh and hello over in Berk/Oakland I bet it's a diff demographic there, I lived in the Bay Area (North) for 20yrs the eastbay was never at the top of my "safe" list.

I know, I adore his round toes. With my big ass feet, those pointy toes just don't look too good on me...

I'm looking forward to it, don't worry! Just need some more bucks! :D

Yeah, well, I never feel to unsafe, it's just that every AFA guy that sees me on the street hits on me! very mysterious
did you happen to know where Placerville was?

Yup I know were Placerville is, or at least now I do, love mapquest, now that I look at it I realize I was there last weekend, cute town, it has a Mels dinner right? Oh and I baught RAL record there for $2 made my day! I have a general idea of Ca but i've been to so much of it, sometimes I mispalce cities/towns kinda like getting redding and Chico switched around, and not remembering where hayward and pittsburg are. Oh and as for getting hit on I seem to have wonderful luck with the 35+ crowd, my question is "what is wrong with this picture, hello I don't look LEGAL?!"

GB: probably one of the few songs that makes me really sad...it make me cry in concert, and I never cry!

Can't wait to see Steve Maddens boots for fall this year, I LOVE boots...Actually the toes don't bother me, but I love that his shoes are "slim." Oh you should so look at Nordstroms for shoes they have nice ones with rounded toes. Also ironically I love Payless...

I totally understand the $$ issue with horses, after all it's why I'm not currently riding. But make sure when you start it's on a school horse...and believe me it's an addictive sport;)

Yep, I have the same problem with CA towns, and i grew up here. though i lived in Chico for 4 years, and Chico is awesome! seriously, i would like to take you there...best college town, evah! and so different from redding, though the freeway signs aren't too far apart, are they? (BTW, my best friend from Chico (and highschool, and 3rd grade, who has the same B-day as Stevie, is coming to visit next weekend, to get away from her kids and husband  her name is Rain, are we a Stevie song (amber, rain) or what?). but, yeah, I totally know what you mean. yes, of course i will start out slow on the horse! (my mom worked with horses before i was born, and was all "they're mean! watch out!" and she loves animals) so believe me, i won't mess around with 1000 lbs of horse! (though, I think they're kind of sweet :p perhaps i'm naive)
I'll try to look at nordstroms, but i've been really poor, and just bought three pairs of new shoes from Ross (name brands, but still). they are very cute, though. Luckily, even though i've always been poor, i've managed to come out of the whole thing with good taste, people often compliment me on my cheap ass sh** :) It's really all about knowing what looks good on YOU, and what is cute in general, don't you think? I mean, i've seen some ugly a** super expensive designer stuff. And some things Stars wear to events? I'm like "oh, honey, that does not flatter you!"
But, yeah, blab. Placerville, and thereabouts, was the place where gold was discovered in CA. P'ville used to be named "Hangtown" and if you like rivers, and rafting, i swear we're the capitol! :)
ok.

Oh, I didn't notice his shoes were narrow! I like his boots, too, but i haven't got any. But i have duck feet, really narrow at the heel, and really wide at the toes...

Okay after this I gotta catch some sleep, but...
I LOVE Ross, I even got my prom dress there! And yeah it is totally about knowing what looks good on you, I can make a great outfit with pair of blk pants and a nice top. Ohh and you should look up for a Nordstroms Rack (discount store!!!), but I still usually buy at payless, "if the shoe fits" although this place called famous footwear is awsome all designer stuff all cheap! And yeah whoever dresses the stars, well some should just be fired, don't the stars express any opinions, or are they just blind?
Chico I remeber from looong time ago (10yrs) as a kid. But I'm sure it's a cool town. Have an awsome time hangin w/ your friend. Neat name she's got (if I remember correctly it's also a Beatles song and a Madonna song), I wish my name had a neat song, but no...Oh well...
As for the horses most are pretty nice, try to start on a gelding (castrated stallion) thou, mares can be pissy. And most are nice esp if you feed them carrots:) Anyway it's cool to know theres another shoe lover, vertically challenged CA nightbird on the ledge:)

I've noticed some have been musing about the age thing. What the heck, time to stroke my
ego!:)
I'm a teacher. Last week one of my second graders asked me, "How old are you?" I answered,
"I was one year old when the first man landed on the moon".
The next day the little angel came in and said, "You're THIRTY-SIX! I don't believe it, you look
like a TEENAGER!":):):)
THAT is VERY amusing!!!
I'm NOT being humble right now....I DO look very young, not one line on my face.(THANK GOD
for hair dye though...I have MONSTER greys!!!) I'll probably take after my mother, who still
got proofed well into her late thirties...until one day when she was about forty-five and middle
age kicked in OVERNIGHT!!! :(

Uuuh. Well. I'll only drink coke from cans or 20-oz bottles. And in 20-oz bottles I don't drink the last half-inch.

I can only write in mechanical pencil. It's near impossible for me to write in either pen or wooden pencil for whatever reason.

I like to keep my fingernails at a certain length. I hate it when they're hella short, like when people bite their nails and stuff. So yeah.

God I'm boring.

I have double jointed toes, So I have no pain when I flex my toes backwards as far as possible...

Not to mention I have a clone (!!!!) who is 12 years old, My niece Kendra...The poor girl looks nearly identical to me, Same facial features, manurisms & expressions. She looks nothing like either parent, But for some reason she looks like me, like someone famous in a band once said "Isn't that weird?"

But the last half-inch is where all the excess sugar and chemicals have settled! Lord knows you can't shake the stuff up to mix it back together! *BOOM*

I hate that the soft drink companies went to plastic bottles. To me, all the drinks taste different (probably from the acids eroding the plastic, even though they swear that doesn't happen). Plus, the drinks don't stay as cold as the old school glass-and-styrofoam-cover versions. Broken bottles in barfights aside, I wish they hadn't switched them.

By the way, does anyone remember when Coke introduced the new hourglass plastic bottles and mailed out empty ones to advertise? Somehow, I got on the mailing list from some sweepstakes or something I'd entered, and I ended up getting six or seven of them in the mail over the course of 3 weeks. What the hell did they think we were going to do with empty plastic Coke bottles? :p

  I remember when they switched, but didn't know they mailed out empties. How lame. just more crap to litter your house and consume resources. My cat could apparently be a marketing strategist for Coke. Yeah, glass bottles are so much tastier..I've seen pepsi having mini ones, and in the big grocery stores, i think they have coke in glass.

The only Coke in glass bottles I've seen are the tiny 6 or 8-ounce ones they still make to go in the antique Coke machines. I need man-sized portions, dangit! I rarely drink "leaded" Coke, but when I want one, I go for the liter. And I chug it. And then I burp for an hour. Ahhhhhhh.... refreshing, indeed!

(Marty, if you're reading this, can we get a burping icon too??? :] )

I was estranged from my father for the better part of my first 25 years of life...For the past eleven I've been lucky and blessed to have him in my life in a significant way now.
ANYWAY, one of the first things we did when we got reaqainted was go FOOD SHOPPING.
At any rate, when we went down the BEVERAGES isle we both make a simultaneous move for
the 6-pack GLASS bottles of Coca-Cola Classic.
It's genetic! LOL
