I know it has been mentioned before but could we please try and keep the round number in the title field and if a post doesnt have a vote then put something like "No Vote" in the title. I would also suggest bolding your actual vote to make it easier for Jacob...he's doing a great job of this and I'm looking forward to All Star Fleetwood Mac Survivor when all the albums are done :laugh:

I'm actually really surprised about how people take this 'game' so freakin' seriously. To me there were some hard feelings when "Brown Eyes" lost the other round, but hey... I still got it in the CD! WELL I Know why Jake miscounted. I counted the same thing as him actually with BC having 13 and TEFM having 14. Serrat voted TWICE. I kept going over and over and kept getting 14, becasue it's not obvious at all that Serrat voted twice. I don't even know if they knew they did, but they did.


AND if Jake counted the last vote after 9 PM it'd be back up to 14. AND 77Rumours themselves didn't vote so maybe he casted a silent vote.

And I'm not going to choose another song unless Jake makes a ruling. I say we just halt the game until he does.

If that were the case, then don't you think the guy who's been running this thing and has actually made the rules would know that? As I pointed out before, if you take all previous votes, you are allowing individuals to vote more than once to break the tie. That wouldn't pass the smell test.

Let's just accept Jacob's ruling and move on. Why bring this game to a halt yet again?

WELL, I thinkj it's total BULL**** what's going here. Jake's just doing what he's doing to please the masses and shut em up. Thanks alot massses. What has happened in this round is by far the biggest injustice that's been in this game and nothing's being done about it. If CV and Dissention thought an injustice was being done, well action would be taken. But BC is clearly going by tthe RULES that CV likes to talk about so much, still in this game and TEFM is gone. Hawkeye was supposed to give immunity last night after last nights round, then decided to grant Over and Over immunity a day later. Over and Over does NOT have immunity. :)

Clearly that is not how he has made these rulings in the past, otherwise he would have done so this time as well.

Go read post #165. JWD found the evidence that in other ties, we've looked at all previous rounds.


Taking all previous votes into account, as opposed to the previous round would make no sense. As I pointed out before, if you take all previous votes, you are allowing individuals to vote more than once to break the tie. That wouldn't pass the smell test.

LOL...Oh, so I guess Mark Burnett and the other Emmy winning producers of the real Survivor are a bunch of idiots, then. Because that is exactly how they do it! It makes perfect sense to look at all rounds...it shows what has been voted most throughout the entire game. It makes less sense to look at only one previous round.

As much as I respect Jacob's role as Jeff Probst, he cannot change votes. BC and TEFM were tied with 13 votes apiece. To break the tie, all votes from previous rounds were tallied and TEFM had more. Therefore TEFM was booted, leaving BC in the game. Hawkeye then gave his immunity to BC. If someone has a different take on this with a vote count, I'd be happy to abide. :wavey:
