New Chris interview

When out shopping today, spotted a magazine called The Word (UK) which has a new interview featuring Chris. It is 2 pages long, with pics. Only scanned through it, so didnt see much mentioned about Stevie or FM. But they do seem to focus on Chris' relationship with Dennis Wilson.

Most Borders and Barnes & Nobles carry music magazines from the UK and other parts of the world, but they take awhile to get the latest issues. :nod:

Isn't that funny, several months ago I was scrounging around trying to find info on Dennis and Chris. I wound up on a Strawberry Alarm Clock message board and chatted several times with one of the original band members. That almost took me down to L.A. where they were having a reunion show for Beyond the Valley of the Dolls... HA HA!! It's crazy where the internet can take you when you start surfing for something. Has this happened to anyone else or is it just me? I must be... :] :laugh:

Anyway, looking forward to a scan of the article. :nod:

Thanks so much for posting this! You made my day. I was at Border's today and they had May's issue of Word, and said June "would come in whenever it comes in".

It is so fantastic to see/hear/read new stuff from her after such a long period of *nothing*!! I was in withdrawal. :-)

It's a monthly magazine. The interview with Chris is in the July issue (issue number 17), and yes Jeff is on the cover.

It's a great article alright, I especially like Chris' explanation to why Rumours was so huge - I had never thought of it that way, but it's probably true. She looks fabulous in that picture too!

Whoa! What a great article. I hope we get to hear more from Chris as she plugs her new album, even if it all comes from the UK. The stuff about Dennis is about like everything else I've read so far... which isn't much. I guess that says something. It was interesting to know the details about how touring was making her feel. I thought it was weird how she barely even mentioned her new album!! The whole thing was sort of reminiscing about FM (which I have no complaints about, mind you!) and Dennis.

Great photo of her too. Love that view behind her. That apartment must cost big bucks.

Wow, she looks incredible. Nice picture. I loved the caption "single white female finally gets a room of her own with a nice little view of the Thames". I'LL SAY!! I have to agree that one of my favorite Chris quotes from the article would have to be the "pretentious twot" part. I actually tried to look it up in the dictionary but couldn't find what it means. Must be one of those slang words. ;) And how could I leave this part out,
"McVie, with Jack Nicholson and Warren Beatty behind her, inviting the new President to step onstage from behind his bullet-proof screen at Clinton's inaugural Ball before leading the band into Don't Stop(which she now reflects should have been Little Lies)." Classic!! :lol:
