LIndsey Re-Creating Stevie & Christine 0n "Twist Of Fate"
LoL, I think on Twist of Fate Lindsey really tries to make it a FM song. If you listen to the chorus, the doubling vocals sound alot like Stevie. Then, once the last chorus is done, and you hear the "Oooooo whoooo, Ahhhhh Ahhhh's" - they sound like Christine. Go listen - it sounds just like em!
I didn't pick up on this until abut a week ago after having the song for 1 year and a half - but it's interesting. We all know Lindsey likes playing with voice machines and he tried to recreate Stevie on TITN. I think he had them in mind during the recording of this song. Too bad it didn't make the album, it would of been an apropriate closer instead of "Goodbye Baby" which I think isn't fitting for the end of the album.

Funny, bluegrass, that you pick up on that just now, because I think he recreates stevie a lot in his solowork, i think "she's" all over go insane and there are some gift of screws songs where he does that. the most obvious one you picked out.
And I really think Twist of fate will be the cracker-opener for the next FM-record. |

Yea, Lindsey also plays Stevie on "Singer Not The Song" and "She Smiled Sweetly."
