Default Rumours: Non-Hits

I had a crazy day and meant to start the poll yesterday, so here it is today!

Vote for your favorite non-hit from the Rumours album. Five songs, single choice. Depending on the results there may or may not be a second round.

Poll closes in 4 days.

I love SHN, IDWTK, and NGBA pretty much equally. But I went with NGBA... for no real reason, I just had to choose one so I did.

So close between Second Hand News and IDWTK! Went for SHN, better harmonies.

The Oh Daddy version on Disk 2 of the Rumours CD is by far the best though.

I'd love to see what kind of harmonies they could arrange to perform IDWTK live today. I love the energy SHN has, exemplified by the fury with which Stevie twirls her mic ribbons. I would hope think they could bring that kind of infectious dynamic to IDWTK.

I'm glad Songbird got some votes. When I left earlier it didn't have any.

Songbird seems to be overlooked for one reason or other.

Yeah I thought a few more than that too.

I love the way Mick Fleetwood describes "Songbird" on classic albums.

Edith Piaf reference..

I <33 Songbird...such a pretty song! It was tough not choosing it, but, I had to go with Second Hand News, for the lyrics and for it being so much fun live!

Heart second hand news

no competition - SHN - the music, the lyrics, the aggression, the cheekiness, the bam-bam-bams, the structure, the length - it is a perfect and genius little pop song that leaves you wanting more of it.

there's a reason that it's still a hit to this day [however much you all insisted it is not a *legitimate* hit, whatever that's supposed to mean in the age of satellite radio, digital downloads, all different personal online music services...].

even Kid Rock felt the need to include an homage to it.

Is it a bit cliche to say I like them all?
But if it's one you need, well then it's
Songbird.
