Arrow DISCUSSION: Other Rick Vito songs not already considered

We can name up to 10 Fleetwood Mac/Rick Vito songs, not on Behind the Mask, for a battle. Songs would have had to been recorded under the Fleetwood Mac name. I would prefer we stay away from unreleased demos, but if that's all there is then I'll count them.

What songs would you nominate?

Sort of shocked there isn't a ton of responses to this one already but okay. Here are my contributions to the list:

Walk Another Mile
Desiree
Honey Love
Knock Me Down
Intuition
I Wouldn't Lay My Guitar Down
Trouble In Trying Times
Meet Me At Midnight
Jackknife Jump (Instrumental)
Streamliner (Instrumental)

Yeah probably won't be hardly any votes for this battle, but we're doing it anyway!

Those 10 songs sound good to me - we'll wait another day for any other opinions.

I don't understand the need for a battle between songs...when a simple opinion will do.

I think Rick was severely under-utilized on the Behind the Mask album. "Stand on the Rock' was an okay song. "Love is Dangerous" was better. "Walk Another Mile" and the Stevie duet "Desiree" should have been on the album.

I'm listening to Desiree and Intuition on Youtube wondering why the (bleep) they weren't on Behind the Mask. I'd take these two over "Love is Dangerous" any day. These songs rock!

Both songs are totally awesome. "LID" is great and fits "BTM" well, but Rick's solo version of "LID" is awesome too.

Personally, all three songs should have been on "BTM". Just my humble opinion.

****Wanted to post this on the pole thread but couldn't, so this was my next best bet.****

Apparently I misunderstood/misread what was being asked on the request for song suggestions regarding Rick Vito. It was my understanding that we were looking for 10 songs by Rick that were not on "BTM". I incorrectly took that to mean that it could be a total of 10 Rick songs that would have fit in with Fleetwood Mac instead of songs that he recorded for Fleetwood Mac or proposed for Fleetwood Mac.

ChiliD is correct in that "Walk Another Mile", "Desiree" and "Got No Home" were proposed for "BTM".

Both versions of "Desiree" that I have (from the "King of Hearts" and the "Lucky In Love" CD's) have Stevie and Rick sharing vocals on the song, not with Stevie singing back up vocals as ChiliD notes on the pole thread. Stevie is also singing back up vocals on "Intuition", also on the "King of Hearts" and "Lucky In Love" CD's.

I apologize for any confusion I caused.
