Missing Messages

One of the mods reported that some messages were missing, particularly in another moderator's, Jannie's, Happy Birthday thread.

Monday night, my webhost unexpectedly said that it was "upgrading" the server. As with all upgrades, more problems were generated than improvements. As a result of being moved to yet a new server, for awhile the Ledge was actually running in two different places. Rather like Superman and Bizzaro Superman.

Depending on how fast the ISP you were running took to recognize the new server, you may have been on the old Ledge, while posts that you couldn't see were also being made on the new Ledge. As a result, if you made a post Monday or Tuesday that you do not see today, that is where it went.

We should all be on the same page (or Ledge) now. Sorry for the inconvenience.
