Footage of Mick and Billy Thorpe: How best to post?
I recently taped a Billy Thorpe special shown on an overnight music clips show here, and the AV guys at work were kind enough to transfer it to DVD for me. They didn't insert any chapter breaks but I'll attempt that task myself over Easter.
Most are black and white clips of Billy and the Aztecs from 1970, but there are some later colour ones including one of Billy and Mick credited as The Zoo (although I'm not sure it's really The Zoo from the album, maybe a touring version?) on a sport-based comedy TV show. I though this clip might be of interest here - once I have it as a seperate DVD chapter, what's the best format to convert it to and best way to post it? |

I'd say mpeg & go to sendspace.com & upload the clip. Then when you get the e mail with the link, you can paste that link here so we can download it. ...but I'm open to other formats, just my 2 cents. John |

OK, here 'tis:
http://www8.sendthisfile.com/d.jsp?t...hBj2Sm8Zz4GhTy The program I used to do the conversion did a fairly ordinary job. When I get a chance (next weekend?) I'll try another conversion program and re-post. Live and Sweaty was an Australian sports themed comedy program, broadcast on the ABC (our equivalent of the BBC) from 1991 until 1995. Not sure what year this was. |
