Does anyone else love this great movie? I think it's a hoot from top to bottom & from side to side. The stars are incomparable: Bea Lillie, Googie Withers, Clive Brook--each is a paragon of his particular type. The treatment of the property itself--which was an old Longsdale play of the 1920s--is as daft & amusing as anything I've ever seen: a combination of Wilde & Ionesco & a Dadaist dream sequence that is so funny you can watch it over & over again.
