Anyone else collect Kate?

Just curious if anyone else collected Kate. With a new albumn coming out soon, it is time to dig out some stuff I have around. Here is one from an albumn sighning. (GASP - she used a PEN rather than a sharpie!) *cringe* A gold sharpie sig looks so cool on most things. I got her to sign a Hounds Albumn for me a few years later. Black Sharpie! Yeah! (I am moving so it is box'd up. will dig it out when I get moved in).

Oh you lucky bastard.

One more person I missed because I was TOO YOUNG. But now ...well I'll never meet her but if she ever did a live performance anywhere...I'd try to go.

Uh what does her shirt say??? It looks like even the great Kate was in on the rivalry I pointed out in the New Madonna single thread and got scolded for!

I think she is still fearful of flying, so it's off to Engalnd to see her if she tours again.

I guess I jumped the gun on that one I thought it was a commentary on Madonna Ciccone,on futher examination it looks like she was signing 'The Dreaming ' album so would've been 1982 and pre-Madonna.

Well I tried to collect Kate but she kept complaining about the crammped quarters of the mason jar...ugh some people are so particular

That's a really nice photo Jim. Have you shared it with the lovehounds or whatever they call themselves over on Gaffa Web? They would love it, I am sure.

To be honest, I never persued any of the Kate Boards or sites. She takes so dang long between albumns I lose interest, and just dig the stuff out now and again. I was a HUGE fan in the early days (Collected tons of stuff) , Kinda went to Stevie's camp now. With the new albumn I might get back into it more. I go through collecting phases... Kate.....Stevie....Tori....Stevie....(Allittle bit of this and that from other groups).... Kate....Stevie.....etc.

She HATES playing live and has only ever done one tour, back in the late 70s or early 80s I think. Anyway, before my gig-going time. So I doubt any of us will get to see her play live.
I remember when I was a school there was a big rumour she was going to do a UK tour, and we got all excited, 15 years later and nothing

Anyone else heard Kate's new tune? It sounds really wonderful, I can't wait for the new album.

I was just checking a Tori bootleg site, and she has done "Running Up That Hill" twice in the last few weeks, apparently as a medley with her own song "God".

Still downloading, so can't comment. But seeing as Tori has been compared to Kate since her first album, should be pretty interesting.
