Has anyone heard any really clear versions of the GOS songs? I would really like to hear Twist of Fate and Wear You Down (my favs ) with a good quality sound. Do they exist?

Arrow Henry...

I can send you Twist of Fate. Nancy has posted Steve's Riff (Wear You Down) on her site at buckinghamnicks.net.

Check your PM's.

I have a very good quality version, but the bass frequencies could stand to be improved a bit. It sounds just a bit "toppy" to my ears. I paid thru the ass for it on ebay. The things an obsessive music lover will do for that fix!

Hi all, first time poster!

I'd recommend having a look on Soulseek.

i downloaded around twenty songs and demos from a site, probably two years ago, and sadly i forget the address.

bleed to love her
blue turns to grey
come
deep dense
down on rodeo (my fave)
gift of screws
given thing
got to get away
miranda
murrow
my little demon
red rover
say goodbye
she smiled sweetly
shuffle riff
someone's gotta change your mind (other fave)
steal your heart away
the singer not the song
try for the sun
twist of fate
wear you down, steve's riff
wild ca

are there additional tracks on the ebay discs or bit torrents? most of the tracks i have sound pretty finished.

miranda
What does the "Miranda" demo sound like? I just love "Miranda" on the SYW album and I wonder what a rough version would be like.

They are not demo's in my perspective. Most of it was finished songs just before the endmix and mastering. For songs like come, red rover, murrow you won't find differences besides the loss of quality. Miranda, SYHA and BTLH have Stevie in the endmix, so they sound different. Some of them could have done without her though......
