Question Online Shopping

Do you do any and where do you shop and what do you buy?

I have purchased DVDs and CDs at Amazon.com. I bought my camera at Ritz camera online last year. The store at the mall did not have the model I wanted so I ordered it online and got it in less then a week. Tax free, too
I ordered from Dunkin Donuts.com at Xmas time.

I ordered my contact lenses online and got them on Monday.

I have ordered DVDs from, Wal Mart, Circuit City, and Best Buy in the last few years.

Other then that I am not a big online shopper but I think that I am going to become one.

The only thing I don't like about buying online are the shipping costs. They're ridiculous. You find a DVD online that's $5 cheaper than in a store, but then you essentially pay the same amount once shipping is tacked on. And if it's defective, you have to pay to send it back.

Yeah, someplaces do have free shipping but you have to wait a longer time to receive it. I hate waiting. I do seem to have good luck with Amazon, however.

Lightbulb Oh man...

I got my digital camera at Buy.com.

I've shopped just about everywhere online. LOL Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Amazon.com, and yes, Ebay. I love www.alldirect.com when I am looking for an import or something, they have a pretty great selection of CD's, DVD's and books. Decent prices too, check 'em out.

I've bought my mom a Valentine's package and my friend a Christmas chocolate package online.

I love to compare prices on stuff, see who charges tax, who doesn't, where I can get free shipping, etc.

but I enjoy www.cdinzane.com , I paid $2.99 for shipping and had the cd 2 days after I placed my order...That was the fastest I have ever seen an online order arrive and the price was reasonable, $10.95 for a 2 disc import!!!! And this release (Chris Caffery's "Faces/God Damn War") was NOT the edited US release either!!!

Plan to wipe cdinzane.com out when we get our taxes filed (Have a ton of medical expenses to claim, Both Deb's & my own, Not including mileage, etc.).

I use amaxon alot because it has free shipping for orders over $25.

I also like neimanmarcus.com and circuitcity.com - both always have some advertised online sale that ususally is not in the stores

I like Barnes and Noble online because all orders over $25 give you free shipping and they guarantee that you'll get it in less than three days.

I was at BnN the store last night...I was like "ok, you're in a hurry, you can only get one book... do not look from side to side, do not pause...or you'll never get out of here!"

I was left in one once. We stopped in before dinner. Before I knew it, they left and ate and came back and got me. Good thing I wasn't that hungry.

LOL, I have to do that in a lot of stores. Do not go down that aisle, just run in and get what you came in for. I have to put blinders on.

YEP - and I am a member of the club and get a discount!!!!

Goldie has seen my obsession with airline and other points in action. I usually find a way to get the most for less and why not - better in my pocket than in their's. I am flying to Hong Kong and China in March FIRST CLASS on Air France for FREE with Delta points. I am also staying for free a few night in the hotels I am going to. If you can learn to work the points, you have got it made!!!!!

You got ****ing gypped, dear. A yearly fee just to get 10% off of full retail? No thanks. What drives me mad about B&N is that everything is list price. That's just wrong.
