I saw it! congrats! that kind of dog is weird...(not in a bad way, don't kill me, i think all dogs are cute) but mainly because i've never known one. Sure is cute, though, i tell you what. And the coat is so lustrous! I've heard that kind of dog is a pleasure to own, they're so smart

That's a really great picture of her. She's such a pretty girl. You should post a picture of Laine too.

The picture of Laine's first big win (a major - which means she went over about six other dogs) is forthcoming. It was taken two weeks ago and should be here in about a week!!!!!

You should seen it when I flew her with me (in the cabin mind you ) to New Orleans and plopped her down on the marble check in counter of the Ritz Carlton there. I was like - "IS OUR ROOM READY YET" Then, she had her own barstool in the bar next to, of course, MINE At one point, the piano player, who ADORED HER (so what's not to love ) - was playing "Wynee the Pooh" and people in the bar were singing along - then she started barking to it. Good Times

But why is he holding the tail like that?
That is the breeder/handler - she and the judge are the two in the pohoto. I cropped it because it makes her pic. larger, etc. It is an optical illusion. Her hand is not touching the tail. Wynee was holding it like that. Sometimes, however, the handler will touch the tail to keep it in position.

Thanks for the compliments!!!!!!!

First - your dog is SO cute...and congrats on the win...

BUT haha..and I totally mean this in anice way - I totally see scenes from Best in Show in my head everytime you talk about your dogs...it's great...I LOVE that movie...is the dog show circuit really that intense?

Yes, there are people who literally are so competitive, they deliberately do things to mess you up. They walk to slowly in front of you or to fast behind you in the walk around the ring. They all gossip. It is pretty amazing the level at which some of these people will operate to win. I just do not go there. I have my breeder handler and our little group. The rest of them are fun to watch but a little scary LOL.

BTW - at any significant dog show like Westminster or Eukanuba (which Wynn and Laine's Brother won - BTW puff puff) none of the people walking the dogs in the ring would be owners, they almost all would be professional handlers at that level. So, the movie is a little untrue in that regard.
