i'm not too sure if this was danny's acoustic or peter's . . . ?!

if it was peter's, it might have been a spanish ramirez flamenco model (see martin celmins in his bio on greeny).

Thanks for the information about Peter's guitar

But for the one Danny plays, the iscription inside the guitar looks like "Ibanez" Script Logo. This one:

No?

again, i'm not too sure about this one, too - but you might well be right. i don't know if there's a somewhat complete listing of the guitars danny played floating around somewhere. i only know about the most obvious electric axes, which certainly doesn't help at all here.

Thanks Lazy

I am, as everybody can understand, a fan of P.G. music, and also a fan of Ibanez Vintage Era. I grew up with this music.

So, if there is any Ibanez involved in "Oh Well", it's a discovery for me ...

there's NO ibanez involved in the RECORDING of "oh well", that's for sure! peter played a wooden-bodied michigan resonator for the acoustic parts in the first half and he played the classical guitar parts in the second half on his ramirez flamenco model. and - as already mentioned - danny hadn't played at all on part 2 of the song (see above).
by the way - there's an older thread here on the ledge on danny's guitars (http://ledge.fleetwoodmac.net/showthread.php?t=45963) . . . but no word about any acoustic ones.

So no Ibanez in the recording ... Thanks for the link for Danny guitars

Anyway, i know P.G. likes at least one of Ibanez vintage guitars.

He has in his possession Ibanez Artist 2663SL, which is similar to 2663TC (the one Steve Miller used for "Fly like an Eagle") The guitar has a triple single coil pickup. Peter's guitar has the same kind of pickup but a "slider" one ... Rare birds these guitars.

We can see it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v3Pn6RlTLE8
